The sandwiches were so delicious. Found a new favorite soda, the Siciliana Lemon Italian import soda. Plenty of other really intriguing imported items.

My sandwich had MOLD. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SANDWICHES PEOPLE. The bread must’ve been weeks old, unfortunately for me I discovered this after eating the first half and this would’ve gone unnoticed if you don’t unwrap the sandwich. $20 for a moldy sandwich. Stomach is not feeling so

My sandwich had MOLD, never coming back here again. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SANDWICHES PEOPLE, this would've gone undetected if I ate my sandwich out of the usual wrapper it comes with. Unfortunately for me, I discovered this after I finished the first half. $20 for a moldy sandwich

I've been going to Luccas deli since e I was a little girl in the 60s. No one does service and food like them. Whenever I come down from Red bluff I stop there.

Bomb! Nuff said! You all gotta get a chance to eat a sandwich there if you're ever in the area! A MUST!

Been here twice now- classic walk-up deli counter set-up where you pick up a number and once called you are ready to order. There is so much choice it's a difficult decision to make- first time round got the caprese- so fresh and simple but so so tasty sitting at fort mason in the sunshine devouring the soft bread with delicious ingredients, one of the lighter side sandwiches with not too much meat. Also had the Pat Burell- plenty of meat and pretty big, good roast beef sandwich with an italian twist, one of the pricier sandwiches on the menu- one of the personal go-to's. Have also tried the Caggiano- also just as delicious- you can really taste the freshness of the meat slices and nice and saucy on the soft ciabatta. Perfect sandwiches to take for a park picnic or stroll in the sun around crissy field. It is a to-go market so no seating inside. They also have shelves of intriguing Italian goodies to add to your picnic experience, although produce is a little on the pricier side. Will be back again to pick-up sandwiches for the perfect marina picnic day

I have so many wonderful memories of this exquisite authentic Italian delicatessen, particularly their Ceci Bean salad. Soooooo delicious. But the shrimp salad is good too ... and the calimari salad. Yummmm. You simply can't go wrong here. So delicious!!!!

We ordered the Caprese with prosciutto and the Americano. Both sandwiches were really good. We were looking forward to visiting this place all weekend and trying it out. Would definitely recommend stopping by. The reason it's not 5 stars from me is because we ordered the Caprese with Prosciutto but did not get any prosciutto at all. Had really high hopes but the fact that they tagged it and charged us for the prosciutto but didn't add it was very disappointing especially since we are visiting from out of town. Hopefully we can try it next time.

One of the last institution standing in San Francisco and such a great place. I remember going there back in the day in the mid 80s with my mom and Pop and I always enjoy the experience. Fresh ingredients amazing cold cuts, amazing food and customer service you just can't go wrong, these wonderful institutions don't exist anymore. All love

Smooth sailing once I finally asked where to grab a number - turns out they had run out of new numbers! Sandwich was large and filling at a good price.

The ingredients and bread are good but the condiments overpower the sandwich. It was smothered in mayo and mustard.
