Great food and coffee, friendly staff, affordable prices, and a cozy atmosphere. What more could you want? I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area!

This is the most wrestling cafe in this part of Noe Valley. They have really good hours where you can go there even into the evening for a bite to eat even if you didn't want coffee so late in the day. But their coffee game is strong too. I order sandwiches and sweets as well when I'm here. Sometimes it's a little bit packed and it's hard to find a seat, but usually you can and they have seeding outside too.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, so I guess it’s about time to say something nice about the place.

Great coffee and pastry spot. Didn’t try the bagel sandwiches but they looked awesome. Really nice outdoor seating spots. Only complaint is that milk and creamer are free but a splash of oat milk is an extra dollar? Oh

Nice cozy place. Love the warmth, decor, and good menu selection. It's the type of place where you'd see a few older folks relaxing and reading the newspaper too :)Only knock against it is the slow wifi speeds. For reference, Google searches are taking me 5+ seconds or times out. A 3-test speedtest average gave me speeds of:7.95 Mbps download10.03 Mbps upload.

Nice cost place with a lot to offer. Wide variety of coffee, and baked goods and snacks. They have delicious empanadas! I tried the mushrooms and cheese and the veggies. Veggie can be spicy for some people. Both were great. They also offer coffee beans at a fair market price. Service was quick and friendly.

Martha’s is my favorite drip coffee of all cafes I’ve been to in SF. All the espresso drinks are good too. Staff are completely wonderful. Many good pastry options. I also get my grinds from here to make at home!

Came by to grab a coffee while waiting for laundry. I noticed that the lobby at this location is a bit bigger than the one on 24th and a little more cozy. Anyway, I got a medium iced vanilla latte. A bit on the strong side as I didn't really taste the vanilla. I'm glad I could taste the espresso but man I wish I asked fore more vanilla. More so tasted like a regular latte. Other than that, not bad

Without question the finest egg nog lattes in the history of nog. You just can't find a better source when you need that afternoon shot of nutmeg come holiday season. And the staff, there are people who do good work, and there are people who do good work. These folks do good work.

I usually have a pleasant time at Martha's but today left me super disappointed. I've been going to this location ever since I moved to SF so I recognized most of the wonderful ladies at this coffee shop. This morning, it was not busy at all and there was not even a line. I got greeted by one of younger ladies. I didn't recognize her and she seemed new. I didn't put much thought and ordered my usual order (lox bagel and an iced bonbon)I got my bagel to-go first and then after 10min I noticed other people after me got their coffee. I came up to the same lady I ordered with to check in on my drink order and she did not apologize but she started making my drink right then and there. As I just got home to enjoy my bagel... the lox bagel I had requested was not a lox bagel. I instead got a veggie bagel.. with cream cheese, tomatoes, and avocado.. no smoked salmon which isn't what I asked for. Now, I'm sitting here SO bummed. It is one of those days where this really left a sour taste in my mouth.I still like Martha's and will still come back but I hope this review helps regulate their newer employees.
