I would give 10 stars if this were an option! Liza and her cakes are awesome! I had a super last minute request to provide a cake to a local legend and celebrity (Willie Mays) for his 90th birthday. I was in a panic trying to find someone who could create a one of kind cake on such short notice and using our chocolate (I work for Ghirardelli Chocolate Company). I found Liza right away and she was as excited as we were to be apart of this special project. The whole process was easy, we gave some ideas on the look and feel we were going for and she sketched a beautiful design that was beyond our expectations! She was super friendly and had great communication along the way. As you can see the cake turned out amazing and wowed everyone who saw it!! On top of that everyone thought the cake was delicious, tasty and moist, each layer was a different flavor highlighting variations of chocolate and everything was executed to perfection. Liza will be my go-to for all my future cakes and baked good needs!

My MIL ordered a cake for my son who is allergic to dairy, so it was special order and from states away! We were planning to pick up and she ended up going out of her way to deliver the cake to us because of a delay. That was very kind. My son was thrilled to see the cake he ordered exactly. He loved eating the fondant art and icing. It was a little too sweet for my taste, but for someone who has a sweet tooth I bet it's perfect. The cake was moist itself, and I wish there was more of it instead of icing (ratio was a little off) which is the only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise, my son and MIL and I are very happy customers and would Absolutely order here again.

Liza is honestly phenomenal and loves what she does, but that's not the best asset she has because she genuinely loves to see her clients happy, smiling, and she will go above and beyond to make sure that happens. I called Liza on a very short notice for an engagement cake that I needed, and she didn't fail one bit to make sure she delivered. The greatest part about my interaction with Liza was that she A) didn't give me any trouble about the short notice. B) was beyond happy for my engagement. C) very polite. I sent her a picture of the cake i wanted and asked if it would be possible and she responded, "yes." I asked her if she can change the lettering for me to cater the event, and she did. Liza then delivered the cake to the restaurant for me. When I say this cake was an exact replica of the picture I sent her, I kid you not, it looked the exact same, and tasted even better. The talented Liza of My Favorite Bite did it again!! Our daughter celebrated her 5th birthday just three months after we had a big 7th birthday celebration for our son. We turn to My Favorite Bite once again this time for a simple butterfly-themed cake. As always, Liza was so pleasant to work with and created a beautiful butterfly-themed cake that put a huge smile on our daughter's face. What was even more amazing was how delicious it tasted! Highly recommend! I had only 2 days to get a custom-made cake for my cousin's 25th birthday. Out of the 10 or so places I contacted in the San Francisco area, every person that got back to me told me it was too late of notice, with the exception of Liza at My Favorite Bite! Liza called me back almost immediately, and said she could have a custom-made cake ready in 2 days. She told me to text her a drawing or picture of what I wanted the cake to look like. I needed the cake to involve petunia flowers, a pineapple, and a princess crown...it was kind of a unique request I was asking for, but right away she told me it would be no problem! I also wanted my cousin's name and the number 25 to be incorporated on the cake, and Liza made that happen! I asked her to text me a picture of the cake (which I will upload here to yelp) and the card, so I could see how everything turned out. Liza also let me know when the cake was delivered (and it was delivered on time in the morning, which I requested!). The cake was BEAUTIFUL! I was so impressed and couldn't have asked for a better result. My cousin LOVED the cake, and she said it was just as delicious as it was pretty! Thank you so much again, Liza!
