(This review is for the Buffalo, NY location) Read about this new Yemeni coffeeshop opening up and wanted to check it out. It was a nice space with a decent amount of seating inside wrapped around the counter. Smelled delightful with all the blends of coffee and teas inside too! Since I’m not a big coffee drinker, I got a tea instead, specifically the Adeni Chai. It was a black tea mix with cardamom and nutmeg, which was something different for me, but I enjoyed. The main thing I came for was this treat that they called Honeycomb, which is a traditional Yemeni pastry. It was filled with cream cheese and had honey drizzled on top. They break apart into these little balls and it was so yummy. Definitely recommend checking this out if nothing else. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed sitting in the shop and doing some quality people watching while I enjoyed my tea. Got a couple treats to-go as well, so I’ll have to update this review after I have those.
