Sichuan Tasty Restaurant Reviews
Currently, the best Sichuan encountered in San Francisco — perfectly spicy, numbing just enough. An elegant balance in mala resulting in a near bottomless appetite that can last hours.Tan Tan Noodles, gets the mala to sesame proportion just right. Spicy Beef Tendon, an excellent cold appetizer for those adventurous in texture. Cumin Lamb, comforting, savory and flavorful. The private dining room in the back — a treat. Portrait view of green garden stone landscape, impressive.
The proprietress is very enthusiastic. The boiled beef in this restaurant is one of the most authentic boiled beef I have ever tasted. In addition, their rice steamed pork tastes exactly the same as Sichuan steamed pork. As a Chengdu native, I really miss the taste of my hometown. I even shed tears after eating the taste of this store. This is really the taste of my hometown.
