Not so much my scene because I'm not into sports, but we go when there's not a big game and the food is unexpectedly very delicious, and the servers and bartenders have always been friendly, even when it's packed.
Haven't been to the neighborhood Irish pub in a while so went to grab lunch on a cloudy Saturday with a friend. The door was closed to keep in the heat but from across the street I thought it might be closed at first and worried it was another business closing in SF. I've had the good fortune of experiencing The Napper Tandy both as a patron as well as a music performer. As a patron, I can tell you that the food here is the BEST pub food you will ever find (I particularly recommend the reuben - the best I've ever had, hands down!)!
