Visit with a group of about 30. We were in a private room upstairs. The bartender had some mocktails prepared and plenty of alcoholic options. Appetizers were preordered and they smelled delicious. They were as tasty as they smelled. There were brussel sprouts with a light sauce. Then a server came along for salad options. Followed shortly by dinner selection, I chose the red gnocchi. A fun pre-show dinner before walking up to Davies Symphony Hall. I love the restaurants in this alley and he'd not yet visited Toy Soldier. Enjoyed cocktails and steaks and gnocchi and crab cakes in our group. Everyone loved the food. Service was on!

We walked down to Toy Soldier From Fairmont Hotel. the hill up and down about killed me but once we got there the bartender slash server was very friendly. The food was delicious and presentation very classy. It's a small place with a small patio not very fancy but the food made up for that. We also had a delicious Old Fashion and espresso martini I would go back but take an Uber next time.
