“Everything we ordered was good. In fact we couldn’t eat it all. Your pizza was so delish! Never had chow fun wrapped up in little rolls but it was pretty good. Your shaking beef salad was good too. Definitely a dining experience in Asian fusion!“

“We visited Banh Mi Crunch after breakfast at Mimosa's -- my Daughter is a Boba Tea Junky.
The lady serving us was very nice and helpful.
The Thai Milk Iced Tea was pre-mixed (usually a non-starter for me) and was very sweet. Daughter loved it, me not so much. While convenient for the restaurant, feel its better to not have a pre-mixed thai tea so the customer can adjust the level of sweetness.“

“Pho 2000 is a no-nonsense hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese spot that is not especially fancy or polished, but it is serving up piping hot, flavorful bowls of pho that absolutely hit the spot. The staff were all super friendly and very prompt with things like water, tea, and bussing dirty plates and bowls, which I really appreciated.
I ordered the #3, the beef pho with rare steak, well-done flank, tendon, and tripe. I tried the broth on its own first and it had a nice depth of flavor before I added my usual dashes of hoisin and sriracha. I also ordered the rare steak on the side since I hate when it gets overcooked, and it was a good test of how hot the soup was when the slices started to turn that perfect light pink gradually as it continued to simmer in the broth.
I liked the pieces of tendon and tripe that were in the bowl, but honestly there could have been a lot more of both since those are some of my favorite bites of pho. The goi cuon, or shrimp and pork spring rolls, were pretty standard and decently fresh, though I'm not sure I'd order them again given the price as they were effectively 2 long rolls cut into 6 pieces for over $10.
Overall, this is a great spot if you're just looking to scratch a quick pho fix and happen to be in the neighborhood.“

“Fast pick up spot. Got the vermicelli bowl. Big portion. Lots of lemongrass meat. 2 sauces. Toasted peanuts on top. I ate it for lunch and dinner. Across from glen park bart. If you are doing a cross town trail. Grab a sandwich. Discount for multiple sandwiches. Thank you!!!“

“I live only a block away from several very popular Vietnamese restaurants in the Tenderloin. This is a great choice despite located in it's kinda interesting Tenderloin neiberhood. Super hot pho tai! Quick service, and if you want cold water, they bring a nice pint in a big plastic thermos container. Love it every time.“

“The best Vietnamese food in the Bay Area! Prices are excellent. Get the Number 5 to sample everything. I would come here at least one a week if I lived nearby! Order to go if you don’t want to sit in the tiny 10-person space. The food is worth it!“

“We had the famous crab, fish fillet, and garlic noodles. The crab was fresh, but honestly, nothing too special about it. The fish was moist and fresh, and the garlic noodles were definitely my favorite.
Overall, I felt the food was a bit overpriced for what they serve. The flavors were just okay and the service was pretty average. Maybe worth trying once, especially for the famous crab, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must visit.“

“Had a fabulous lunch yesterday, and took home enough for dinner too. The lemongrass pork vermicelli entree was loaded with marinated, crispy grilled pork and fresh crunchy vegetables, served on a large bed of vermicelli. The room is bright and very clean. Great food at a fair price.“

“I really liked the Thai Ice tea. Some places fill your whole cup with too much ice. This place had just the right amount of ice not overly icy just enough and enough condensed milk in there and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed it and I would definitely buy another tie ice tea every time I walk by that place. I ordered the chicken fresh bowl and it was fantastic. Very light. It had noodles, fresh veggies, and chicken, cilantro and you could top it off with fish sauce. It was filling, but not too heavy and very flavorful. Service was very fast and helpful and I would definitely go again.“

“A great little spot for a quick breakfast to go. The food was tasty, and the quality exceeded our expectations. The prices are very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. It’s a small place with limited space, but perfect if you’re looking for a quick and satisfying breakfast. We’d definitely stop by again.“

“I called in about 30 minutes before they were closing. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and professional, he gave me a few recommendations, and even though I don’t eat raw meat, he offered to cook it completely instead. I tried so many soups like this and can definitely say that it was one of the best pho soups I’ve tried in my life. Soooo good! Definitely recommending to try ! Thank you for great service and tasty soup.“

“Just tried for the 1st time today and ordered takeout bbq pork banh mi sandwich and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Seems like a family owned mom&pop shop, super sweet friendly service. BBQ pork banh mi sandwich was excellent, perfectly toasted bread on the outside, soft on the inside (not hard and rough like other banh mi sandwiches that hurt the roof of your mouth), delicious BBQ pork flavor, stuffed with fresh yummy pickled veggies, flavors were spot on. Vietnamese iced coffee was good, could be a bit stronger and creamier for my tastes. Overall would highly recommend. Can't wait to come back. =)“

“Came here with a friend and got the ribeye banh mi which was huge and so good! I'm glad we waited in line, it actually was not a very long wait in the end and the food came out fast.
Good:
- Portion size is super generous!
- The price is good
- The meat was so juicy! Loved the ribeye and they are generous with how much they give you
- There are some good picnic blankets nearby and it's not too bad
Bad:
- Long lines and no inside seating
Overall this was an awesome find and hole in the wall and I'm glad I finally got to try it!“

“Good takeout spot if you’re in the neighborhood! I ordered the BBQ chicken and garlic noodles combo to go. The portion was generous for the price, with a good serving of garlic noodles and two chicken thighs. The garlic noodles were absolutely delicious, and the chicken was good as well. The three pieces of broccoli were extremely undercooked, almost raw.
I forgot to request utensils when placing my online order, and when I asked for host for some, he told me to “pay attention next time”, then didn’t even give me a fork - might’ve just caught him on a bad day.
Overall, I’d come back for the garlic noodles and to try more of the menu!“

“Perpetually fantastic. Food is excellent, prices are super reasonable. The folks that work there are very nice & they are so fast. This place is awesome. Idk why a similar chain would open down the block for double the cost & half the quality, but come to dragon eats.“

“Ordered takeout - there’s no seating inside or outside. I got the cold cuts banh mi and shrimp spring rolls. The banh mi good, but it could have used more pate (it was a little dry) and more pickled veggies. The shrimp spring rolls were tasty, and the portions were generous. There are definitely some better spots in the City, but no major complaints.
As a heads up, the payment process is a little strange. They clearly prefer cash and would probably be cash only if they could. You can pay by Venmo or card, and when I asked what they preferred, the cashier said Venmo but they still add tax to your total through the register.
Overall, a solid takeout option at a fair price!“

“The braised duck was absolutely delicious, the bone just falls off the meat. Egg noodles are al dente and a bit of alkaline and the soup is salty enough to be paired with a bite of noodles. Pickled veg was refreshing. The satay beef dish was ok, wouldn't recommend. Wontons were ok, would come back just for the duck!
Make sure you get here early.“

“Ordered chicken pho. Loved the broth flavor and noodle texture. Also, I appreciated the smart packaging very much for a takeout order. They serve noodles, chicken, onions and cilantro in a bowl and broth in a separate container. You can pour the broth into a bowl and it's ready to consume!“

“I got the spicy vegan noodle soup ($17.99 when I went 5/30/26) and it was SO GOOD. Huge chunk of taro root in there I believe. Felt very comforting and nourishing. Good spice level. Came here with a group of friends after watching a movie across the street at the wonderful 4 star theater. Recommend that pairing- movie and this awesome food! All my friends got different dishes and they all enjoyed what they got.“

“I highly recommend this small restaurant and its signature Pho: the broth is perfectly seasoned (with extra salt available on the table), it’s packed with meat, and the noodles are excellent. I love soup and would recommend this spot to tourists; the prices are great, and the place is clean and cozy. The fact that locals dine here is the best guarantee of the food's quality.“

“This place has some of the best pho I've had in a long time. The broth is rich and flavorful, the portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about both the food and the customers,
If you're looking for authentic, delicious pho without spending a fortune, this is the spot. I've brought friends and family here, and everyone leaves happy.
And if you somehow don't like the pho here... I know you’re taste in food is horrible. 😅 Highly recommend! 🍜🔥“

“Best sandwich ever in Excelsior area The bread is always crunchy and the meat is amazingly flavorful. My always choice is of course #6 grilled pork with well-seasoned meat and abundantly fresh veggies. #3 combination is also a should-try . It is what I believe the most traditional one. Besides these, a must-have is definitely Vietnamese ice coffee. It is made strong and sweet beautifully bringing me back the flavor which I always miss when being away from home. A strongly- recommended spot when you are in the area...“

“So glad they opened another location! This was our second time to the Marina location, and literally our first stop after landing at SFO. As usual, I got the large Pho Ga even though im so tempted to try a different noodle. I also got a Cafe Sua Martini which is a play on an espresso martini with Viet coffee. Highly recommend trying it.
Pro tip: everyday happy hour drinks are basically half off!“

“If you're scanning for a Vietnamese spot in the Richmond that balances bold flavors with comforting familiarity, Y & Y has quietly been doing its thing.
I recently visited and ordered their satay noodles, and it turned out to be one of those meals you linger over, slowing down to savor every spoonful.
What I Loved
* Depth in the broth. The satay base had a rich, nutty backbone layered with spice -- not just heat, but complexity. You could taste peanut undercurrents melding with lemongrass, garlic, and chili in a way that felt warming and bold rather than aggressive.
* Spice done right. It hit the sweet spot -- spicy enough to awaken your senses without obliterating them. And the heat built rather than dominated, which encouraged you to keep sipping.
* Noodle + texture play. The strands soaked up the broth beautifully -- slippery but not mushy. Added onions, herbs, and bits of protein gave contrast and a freshness that kept the bowl from feeling heavy.
If your goal is a bowl that feels both comforting and full of punch, the satay noodles at Y & Y are a must-order. It's a dish worth planning for -- go when you have the time to linger. After this, I definitely want to come back and try their pho and spring rolls (which others frequently recommend).“
