Driven by Yuubi for a while and decided to stop! We had a great experience here and will be back! Appetizers and side salads were pretty decent but wish we had a few more pieces of geso karaage to share! The wagyu and tuna tataki was tasty and worth another try the next time we are there. The rolls were nothing spectacular but standard as far as rolls go. My friend loved the chicken katsu dinner and felt it was perfectly fried for his taste. The poki salad had a lot of different fish in the bowl and was a tad over sauced but otherwise another ok dish. The fish in the Chirashi was good and fresh. We threw in a waffle for dessert since we were curious. It’s a tiny waffle so definitely not something to share.

Fresh, amazing, and fun! Check out Yuubi if you're looking Japanese food that stands out. We had an awesome experience...in food, service, and atmosphere. By the way...the full size tuna collar? Reserve it...then bring lots of people to help! It's rich, moist, and perfectly grilled. The sashimi was fresh and delicious as well with great selection and variety! Highly recommended!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in San Francisco. And I've tried dozens of them in my 25 years living here! They prepare their dishes with more care, creativity and artful attention to detail than I've seen at other restaurants and they are as delicious as they are beautiful. The staff are kind and efficient, led by skilled chefs and the ambience is spacious and comfortable. I think this place gets overshadowed by more trendy nearby sushi restaurants but it's honesty better! Try it!

Kind of stumbled into this restaurant on accident but we decided to sit down and order some food anyways because we were starving!! All I have to say is, the Uni here is SO GOOD. Everything else... meh. Didn't love the atmosphere of the restaurant itself and the other order we had were not memorable and I think I recall the salmon being legit frozen and hard to chew through. All in all, come for Uni and nothing else.

Deciding where to have dinner, our friend suggested Yuubi in the neighborhood because he said they recently reopened for indoor dining. I remember dining here pre-pandemic and was looking forward to trying again.Arriving around 6:30pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was about half full and we were promptly seated. The restaurant was spacious with about ten floor tables and seating around the sushi bar. Since the four of us wanted different food choices, we decided to order our own dishes. I opted for a steak teriyaki and tonkatsu bento, which came with miso soup. The box had rice and a salad. The steak was ordered medium-rare and it was cooked as requested. It was very tender. The tonkatsu had a crispy panko crust and the pork was moist and well-cooked. Teriyaki chicken and chicken karaage bento. When the waitress brought the bento to the table, she noticed it had chicken katsu and she was apologetic and had a side of chicken karaage ordered and it was brought to the table. My friend enjoyed his bento. Chirashi bowl. Friend who ordered this enjoyed the thick pieces of fish and the freshness. There were ten pieces of fish, ebi and tamago. Chasu ramen. Friend who ordered this was pleased with taste of broth and the ramen. We started with a dragon roll. The roll was well made and appeared smaller than average, but probably because they don't make it with a lot of rice. They have two refrigerator case with fresh chunks of tuna displayed and the tuna head. I guess they cut up their own whole tuna.Overall, compared to two neighborhood Japanese restaurants that I dines at in the Sunset, the food here was a so much better in quality. The ambiance here was a lot nicer and the service was friendly and efficient. I will be back.

The food here is great. We had the nigiri omakase and it did not disappoint. Fish was fresh, flavorful, and decant. We also go the 501 & Warriors roll. Everything was fresh. The rice to fish ratio was perfect. Sometimes you get too much rice, this was not the case. The service was great. Ambiance… well, we came here for the food. Will be coming back for sure!

The service was great, although I found it odd that they wouldn't let me sit at a table because I was dining alone. That being said, the bartender who served me was phenomenal. The fish seemed Super Fresh, which was impressive given the landlocked location and my pickiness on Seafood quality.

The salmons are very fresh! The rolls are delicious, and my favorite is the Lion King! The salmon tasting is a must try, and I love their salmon belly and ocean trout. ?
