When the four of us went to eat, the waiter politely asked if we wanted more rice. We said no. Later, when I was packing the leftovers, I saw that there was a small bowl of rice left in the rice pot, so I wanted to pack the rice as well so as not to waste it (rice is Charges are based on the number of people) At this time, the landlady rushed over and told us angrily that the unfinished rice was not allowed to be taken away... We paid for the meal and did not ask for more rice, so they were not allowed to take away the unfinished rice. Do you want to pour it back into the rice pot and recycle it for the next guest? I pray that no one has the habit of licking their rice spoons. I'm going to be disgusted to death.

Waited 1+plus hour for our food to come out... one of the dishes we ordered was beef and when the food finally came out it barely got any meat in it... VERY DISAPPOINTED..

Very authentic Hunan food! Flavorful but not too Sat. They do get busy during lunch but we'll worth the wait. Delivery is a good option too cuz it doesn't impact food quality. The heat does build up so ask for less spices if you can't handle it.

That’s the worst chinese restaurant I’ve ever seen before. There’s no formal menu and pictures on it. Only the hand writing on the sealed plastic paper. The restaurant had horrible service and an unpleasant atmosphere. And also the food prepared was very slow.

The restaurant might not look all that, but the food is actually pretty good!!! It's not cheap, and actually on the pricey side, but it was totally worth it. Very authentic food, and you should totally try it if you don't care about customer service from the waitress.

Our first stop when we go to LA. So authentic, we didn't see an English menu ?

Delicious! However, the wait time for food was long… worth a try though.

From all the Hunan restaurants I've been to in the 626 area this is my go to place. The restaurant used to be on the corner of San Gabriel Blvd and Las Tunas and has moved here since the pandemic. It's a bummer some of the old dishes I loved were replaced but the new ones are equally tasty. This is a fairly authentic Hunan restaurant, so if your not a fan of preserved meat, blood, innards, fermented veggies and chili this may not be the place. Currently, the menu is all in Chinese not sure if they will eventually make official ones with english translations. Just a heads up, if it's a busy day be prepared to wait 30-45 min for all the dishes you ordered to be served. But the taste is worth the wait. I was especially surprised by how good the spicy nummy kidney cold dish. There is also a boba place in the store that makes decent drinks perfect to pair with the spicy dishes.

Delicious, authentic food and at a great value. I will definitely be back again and again. There was nothing that we tried that wasn't a great example of it's type - and we tried a lot of the menu. One helpful hint - if you are not Chinese and you want spicy food, you have to be really clear. I believe they tone it down when they aren't sure if the customer's ability to tolerate heat.

Calling for take out, almost take 1 hour to get it. All the employees are having dinner at 6pm,and let customers waiting.
