“Somehow did not know about this place within three miles of home but I'm glad I've finally corrected. Great layout, great selection, extremely friendly and helpful staff -- I was looking for dried methi and the Keeper gave me a quick interview, found out I needed fresh methi which they didn't have but directed me frozen methi instead. On the food side of things everything was fresh and tasty-- I got bindi and roti and chicken-- and I was well impressed by the stream of takeout orders, which showed how popular this place is. Prices are pretty reasonable, too“
“My husband is from India, so we have eaten a lot of flavorful foods. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We ordered the five taco plate and sides of corn, mom‘s beans, the vegetarian beans, potatoes with chorizo, corn, and rice. We also tried the coconut rose milk lime drink, and the cucumber salad . My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. The fresh house made corn tortillas also really take the tacos to the next level. We really enjoyed our meal here. Kudos to the owners for taking such an interesting fusion risk and executing it well.“
“Overall the food was AMAZING! ? This was my first time ever trying Indian cuisine and my god it was so tasty! They don’t skimp on the portions at all! I paid around $37 and they gave me enough food to feed a family of 3! lol ? Honesty I recommend this place. If I knew this hidden jem existed before I would’ve reviewed this place earlier lol“
“Good solid Indian food with lovely staff. Loved the samosas (honestly don’t miss them) and the garlic naan. The butter chicken was good, and enjoyed the daal makni. The restaurant is simple, and clean. Some people complained of the portion size, but my friend and I were full and brought stuff home…..so we were fully happy with what we had! I would not miss this wonderful local place, and plan to be back!“
“THE BEST INDIAN FOOD RESTAURANT in Pasadena and my absolute favorite Indian food in all of Los Angeles. Their Crab Curry is excellent and unique -- I've never seen it anywhere else. 3 Cheese Naan bread so fresh and full of cheese it's a meal in itself. Also love their Chicken with mangoes and so many other dishes that are so delicious!!! I get hungry just thinking about it! Much more convenient and accessible than my other favorite Indian food restaurant, which is in Nice, France. ?❤️?Parking: Free parking next door at the hotel on the street level or underground. Street parking is available but watch out for parking signs with time limits listed or you'll get a $67 parking violation ticket like I did. Ouch!“

“When I first went here 3 years ago for the first time, it was tempting, never had Indian food in my life, and decided to try it here..My goodness, best Indian food experience!!For my first ever order was their 'Chicken Clove' curry with rice, garlic Naan, and their amazing, creamy 'Mango Lassi'Their Mango Lassi, one of my top favorite drinks in general, sometimes I even go there to get their mango lassi, amazing!!“
“We love CURRY! We just arrived here from Florida and are so hungry. Curry Hut was so gracious and helped us out with Chicken Tikka Masala, Potatoes and Cauliflower and fresh rice and two large pieces of Garlic Naan! Everything was yummy!!! Support this amazing restaurant!“
“Mahan is a very enjoyable Indian restaurant with a diverse menu that delivers some good flavors. There is a sense of no-nonsense value here. With a menu designed for both standard affair and vegetarian options, many kinds of tastes can be accommodated. Proteins do include the options for seafood, which many other Indian restaurants may not. One impressive dish is the chicken Tandori. Seasoned well with spices and lots of garlic, this became quite a highlight as it arrived at the table sizzling. Heat levels can also be adjusted for the shy, and dishes still taste well-spiced. The popular Tikka Masala is very excellently made. A rice pilaf is available also in contrast to the Jasmin rice. All the Naan is freshly made and delicious. The service is pleasant and you can see your food prepared as the kitchen has an open format for all to see.“
“Folks, if you know indian food you will understand the quality of food found at curry time. All dishes are top notch, best quality ingredients and cooking style from Northern India. You will not find better indian food in all of Southern California. I challenge any restaurant in Artesia "little india" to provide better tasting punjabi food and trust me I have tried them all. I am in no way associated with this restaurant, only a customer. We cater food for our home gatherings, and often pick up food for special occasions, I have taken many friends to curry time and everyone has been blown away how delicious curry time food is. 100% recommended!!!Parking: Always plenty of parking and in safe location.“
“The staff was so accommodating and the biryana and masala were delicious, can't help but give this place 5 stars. As a vegetarian, my dish options were emboldened, rather than diminished. Would highly recommend if you're in the area and need to pick a spot to eat.“
“Breakfast and lunch are great at Tray. Everything on the menu is delicious!! Top notch staff as well. The Buttermilk Fried chicken is a Wednesday favorite. They also recently added an amazing Torta to the menu. This place is a DTLA hidden gem!“
“This Indian vegetarian restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with authentic flavours. The menu is diverse, lot of chat options and one of the best samosa chat i have had in a long time. Highly recommended for anyone craving for delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine.“
“My first time eating at India’s Flavor was amazing! The food was delicious & memorable! I ordered Chicken Masala w/ naan bread and a side of rice. I added on a mango lassi to crunch my thirst. All of it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back & try new items as well as the ones I started with! Thank you!!Parking: A parking lot available to those who come to restaurant or plaza“
“I really only come for the hot food deli. They give you a lot of food for a great price. It's all vegetarian and always tastes great. It's one of my usual spots. It's part of a market, but I've unfortunately never checked the market out.“
“From March 2024:Every dish our group of four had was delicious and distinct. The portions were smaller than most places, which is not a bad thing, but of course in LA a smaller meal means it costs more. Definitely worth saving up some of your money to try however. The music was too loud and genre did not fit the scene, bordering on the line of nightclub atmosphere. Perhaps I'm just old.All things considered it's a unique place worthy of trying, but be prepared to yell across your table in order to hear.“
“We had a great meal here! We were the only table there for about half of our meal on a Friday night which was such a shame because the food and service were so good! We had the samosa chaat, followed by the chicken roll and chicken biriyani. The samosa chaat was good, lots of flavor and textures. The chicken roll was delicious, made even better because of the bread. And the biriyani was definitely one of the most flavorful we've had. The vegetables in the biriyani and roll were still crisp and not overcooked! The person who served us was friendly and checked in on us a few times. We'll have to come back and try some new things.“
“I had the opportunity to dine here twice while on a official trip. First day I arrived in Pasadena, I found the restaurant via Google map as it was close to where I was staying. Went for dinner and had the non-veg thali and mango lassi and absolutely loved the food from the first till the last bite. I actually ended up overeating - the food was so good! On the last day of my trip, i.e., today, again went back there for lunch as this was my last opportunity to eat there! Had chicken curry, rice and naan, and the mango lassi! Again I overate because the chicken curry is so tasty! Their spice level is just right - I asked for mild! Not just the food, the people are also amazing. Each time had a good conversation with Raj! If I ever come back to Pasadena, I'll be sure to visit again!“
“This evening I found the nearest Indian restaurant. My favorite thing to eat is the fermented scallion pancake. I really like it and can’t get enough of it every time. I also love the Indian samosas in picture 4, and I must order them every time. The roasted chicken in picture 3 is not only beautiful but also delicious. The skin is perfectly crispy, which is very good. He also had a very good attitude and introduced the characteristics of the dishes when he served them to us.“
“Their menu has NO prices on it. Doesn't seem very trust inspiring. Lunch for four with no drinks or dessert cost $87 plus tip.Vegetarian options: They had a lunch buffet for $20 each, but it didn't have very many vegan options so we ordered off their menu which had enough vegan options. Naan has dairy in it so we ordered a similar bread product that was vegan, one that was thicker than roti. But this bread product came dripping in oil. Next time I would ask if they could skip the oil coating. If not I would go with the roti.“
“If you want to experience a burst of flavors in every bite, then Indian cuisine is the way to go. The rich and aromatic spices used in Indian cooking create a symphony of flavors that is sure to tantalize your senses. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat-lover, Indian food has something for everyone. Indian cuisine is a celebration of culture, tradition, and flavor. Each dish tells a story of its origin, with its unique blend of spices and ingredients. Whether you're indulging in the rich flavors of butter chicken or savoring the tanginess of chutneys, Indian food is a delightful experience that you don't want to miss. Indian food is also known for its health benefits. Many of the herbs and spices used in Indian cooking have medicinal properties that can improve digestion, boost immunity, and reduce inflammation in the body.“
“I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews that are years old. This has not been my experience at all. I'm new to the area and this business has been a standout for me. Always super friendly and very helpful. Prices are about average but I go back for the neighborhood feel/welcome and service.“
“Pretty good takeout option if you’re craving Indian food in the area. The samosas are crispy on the outside and soft/boldly flavored on the inside. Their homemade mango lassi is fantastic, rich yogurt base with a fruity blend. Naan is fluffy and fresh, and the curry is well flavored with tender meat. Curry doesn’t include rice like most places I’ve found nearby, and the prices of each item does add up—it’s not a cheap meal especially if you’re dining in for dinner. But overall would recommend and come back.“
“I’ve been wanting to try this place out. My friend and I went for their lunch buffet. Located on the second floor, with a parking lot right behind (I found out after). It’s an affordable $20 for the buffet at the time of this review. The fruit chutney was a pleasant surprise and you have an option between plain and garlic naan. The rice was old and dry, but the two dishes that stood out to me were the butter chicken and saag paneer (spinach and cheese curds). The view of Colorado Blvd from the window seats was nice. The bathroom was a bit of a turn off for me, but nature called. I would definitely go again if given the opportunity.“
“This place is such a hole in a wall, and would definitely come back. I was here literally last week and been thinking about coming back all week this week! The place is like everyone said, half grocery (international market, mostly indian goods), and half restaurant. I mean hey some people can make a business model after it, full respect. The quality of their food doesn't decrease just because its half and half, in fact, this place have the best indian food I have had thus far! There is bollywood music video playing on the TV, you are served with kindness by the staff there, and also attentativeness. The staff are great at recommending things, but they are also great salesmen - as in they would point at things asking if you want to order - lol.I ordered the garlic cheese naan, which was delicious. The tikki masala lambm which melted in my mouth. The rice was okay, but I haven't been too enthused about rice as of late, so it might just be a personal preference thing.Their mango lassi is okay, but food was really great! The parking lot is huge, free parking and shared with the other stores in the plaza.I would come back! Bring your wallet as its not the cheapest, but also bring your appetite.“
