Lady at the counter is rude and looks like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

6 years ago, there were a place carrying nice Chinese BBQ with affordable prices. I gave 3 stars. Today, I come here again. After this time I would not like to come here again. Excepting the roasted duck, the Chinese BBQ is bad! The item food may be still ok under the affordable prices.

I was today years old when I found out that not all Sam Woo's are the same. We learned from the staff that the children of original owner now manages the various location. The same business model of BBQ counter attached to a restaurant, but the menu varies depending on the management. We were craving some items we had in a Sam Woo location in the Valley, but they didn't have it here. So we just tried out a couple of items. Everything tasted good, as expected from a standard Chinese restaurant. The layout is a bit more spacious and slightly more upscale compared to the other locations. One of the older staff that spoke Vietnamese was super helpful and had great energy. His service alone deserve 5 stars.

We tried the take out option today for half roast duck , and the old guys at the counter took another small half duck from the back counter and cut it up all the time yelling at what to order next. The duck they gave was small af and I asked them nicely if I could pick the ones in the display, but he yelled at me in Mandarin . I've never seen such bad customer service and they didn't even give me the duck sauce and gave me a dry half duck. The taste was alright , but I'm used to roast duck with duck sauce and they didn't give me none.My experience as paying customer I won't be coming again, pay my money to get yelled at by old Chinese dudes smh

Decent price. Free herbal tea or lemon tea with dinner. 15% tips charge for group dinner. Not bad. Usually we pay 18%. They charge 15%, sure.

If you order food to go and don’t give tips when you pay , they talk bad about you just right in front of you in Cantonese.

Free lemon tea and rice for each person, duck is the best, porrigues (dine in only) is tasty. You should come in before 8PM to order duck or any other BBQ, because their BBQ department might close at 8pm.

Haven't been here since the pandemic. Food is still great. The portions are generous. I was ready with my order before i got to the restaurant. As opposed to many places, this has not changed. I was looking for chicken with mixed vegetables for an elderly person and since it was not in the menu, the waiter told us that he could make it. IT was fantastic. Highly recommend walnut honey shrimp, walnut short ribs, salt and spicy squid. all their food is great. You will not get disappointed. The bill for a party of 8 was $220. Not bad as we order most of their house special items.Parking: Parking is limited due to a large shopping center. Do not park on areas designated for other stores. You will get a parking ticket. It is better to park on the street
