I decided to give this spot a try for the first time. I opted for the pork roll with pate sandwich. However, I was slightly disappointed upon opening it as there were no pickled vegetables included, only cucumbers, jalapeños, and cilantro. While it was decent, it didn't quite meet the standards of the best I've had. Moreover, I couldn't help but notice that the sandwiches appeared smaller in person compared to the pictures posted.
Ya'll. This is probably my favorite banh mi joint right now (second is Huong Lan on Tully) They have a unique mayo that has a sweet-garlic-umami flavor you won't find anywhere else. The FLAVOR they have here hits. I've tried Duc Huong down the street after the social media hype and nope - the flavors and texture wasn't there for me. I come here first thing in the morning to buy their mayo and pate so I can make me pate toast. lol if you're KETO or low carb, this is an awesome...read full review
