“This place has great food and service! (Unlike the one on Silvercreek in Evergreen)I had the burrito bowl which was delish and plenty of food! ! Bathroom was clean!!!”
“Found it through Google search and picked based on ratings and was not disappointed. Casual lunch place.Vegetarian options: Grilled veggies and tofu fajitas is what I had. Good portion sizes and tasty. It was served with rice, black beans and guacamole.”
“We ordered, tandoori chicken chow mein and tandoori momo ?, one of the best chow mein we have had. Tandoori chicken was 6/10. Wait for tandoori momo was too long, apart from that everything was great.”
“The four of us went here tonight for dinner. We were 25 minutes late but they seated us anyway. The parking lot looked pretty full but we managed to grab a spot. They had all our favorite Hot pot. Ingredients: shrimp paste, veggies, assorted tofu, a ginormous lamb and beef platter ring, etc. we really like the house special bone broth, but the spicy special House broth was pretty spicy.Service was really fast and efficient.Vibe was pretty young with club music playing in the background. We got a basket of deep fried pork which was apparently recommended but I was so full. I could hardly eat more than a few pieces.Overall great price would come here again.p”
“I chose to try this place over Panera Bread today, and I’m impressed! I chose wheat bread and it was still flavorful. The chicken sandwich was so good! I came on a Friday at 3pm and there was no wait time. I will be back for sure. Also, the employees were friendly!”

“Extremely solid crowd pleaser type pizza. People ask where you got it from and want a paper menu type pizza. The crust is top tier, as I never eat pizza crust but this time did. Price is really good, at $28 range for specialties. Would recommend to eat it at the restaurant, as delivery did lag.”
“We came across this place by chance trying to get a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered egg rolls, spring rolls, and Pho. The service was great, and the food came out fast. The appetizers were fresh and hit the spot. The peanut sauce with the spring roles was not your standard very sweet sauce but had a little tanginess to it. The sauce with egg rolls was good too. The Pho is probably the best I had, the broth was tasty, and you did not need to add anything to and everything was fresh. Service was excellent and the place was comfortable.”
“Absolutely fantastic chicken and exceptional service! I highly recommend this to anyone in the South Bay with a craving for a hot chicken sandwich, especially if you're looking for deliciousness close to home.-matt”

“Wow! I genuinely don’t know if I’ve had better Chinese food. There were so many moments where I was like, “oh this is how it’s supposed to taste like?” It was divine. Best cooked meat. Best spices. Cooked to perfection!Dietary restrictions: We had someone with gluten restrictions in our party and there was plenty she could eat when they made it gluten free! Best food ever!”

“tiger tea is one of the few tea places i love going to! i don't have a sweet tooth and their drinks aren't too sweet which i really like! the workers are always so attentive and welcoming in the shop and there's always a nice environment. i really like their strawberry green tea and their matcha. i highly recommend this little shop!! :)”
“Spacious and clean restaurant that's tucked away. Went for happy hour. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday. Food was good and plenty. I'd come again to try other dishes!”
“We ordered, tandoori chicken chow mein and tandoori momo ?, one of the best chow mein we have had. Tandoori chicken was 6/10. Wait for tandoori momo was too long, apart from that everything was great.”
“I love this shop! It not only has amazing drinks for both coffee fans & boba fans but also such great service! The owner is very sweet and has created all the drinks himself. I would recommend the milk tea, velvet espresso, or any of the lattes!”

“This place is a vibe! Good music and good breakfast. I had the veggie quiche and that banana Chai awwww mah goodness it felt like a warm hug. I would stop by again. Was going to take it to go but glad I changed my mind and stayed for the ambiance.”

“If you’re looking for some good food, this is the place. With easy parking, it’s located in a convenient place so you can drive or take the bus. The portions are big too! I recommend the Haitian lemonade and the Rasta Pasta.”
“We had a delicious lamb burger, which are difficult to find and cook well. Great service and prices. Definitely on our list of places to return to, even if it's a 45-minute drive for us, well worth it ?”

“This is not a joke. This is hands down the best ice cream in the world. Truly amazing, perfectly made and flavoured. Tastes exactly like you’re eating the juiciest and creamiest fruit in the world. Fresh and non-synthetic taste. Not too sweet and not too bland. The worker was kind enough to let us sample to our heart’s content. Be sure to try their Pandan or durian. Love how they let you choose two flavours!”
“10/10 beer, really interesting stuff. Great fermented foods as well, but the beer is really the highlight here for me.I'm told that the selection changes regularly, but stuff leans on the funkier side, with complex ingredients and processes. If you want a boring macro lager, the selection may (appropriately) disappoint. This joint is not for those with narrow palates. But if eclectic combinations or more flavorful brews are your vibe, you'll enjoy the diversity and character of what they've got.”

“Ordered the tofu dolsot bibimbap - the rice was perfectly crispy, and toppings were flavorful and delicious. The restaurant is small with a comfortable, casual vibe. We came on a Friday night around 6pm and were seated immediately, by the time we left an ~hour later all the tables were full. Service was friendly and attentive - would come back here in a heartbeat!Vegetarian options: Lots of options to get various dishes with tofu or veggies”
“I just had lunch at Luna Mexican Kitchen on The Alameda in San Jose, and let me tell you, it was pretty awesome!I went for the salmon avocado salad, and man, was it delicious! The salmon was so tasty and the avocado was super creamy – it was like a party in my mouth! But my friends got the fried shrimp tacos and the carne asada burrito, and they were drool-worthy too. Seriously, I was eyeing their food the whole time!We sat outside, and it was chill vibes all the way. Twinkling lights, comfy seats. The staff were really nice and made us feel welcome.Overall, I'd rate Luna Mexican Kitchen as good. If you're in San Jose and craving some tasty Mexican food with a cool outdoor ambiance, this is the spot to hit up!”
“Love this local coffee spot. The owner is super nice and welcoming. It seems like a community center where everyone knows each other, greets warmly, and even offers to share seats. We enjoyed a cappuccino and a latte (they offer soy/almond milk for substitute), we appreciate so much with the owner’s sweet treat! The relaxed atmosphere here feels so European, instantly bringing us back to Portugal and sparking that nostalgic feeling. Great spot to chill with excellent coffee and some food. Definitely coming back.Cash or Venmo only. Free parking right next to the shop.”
“I just ordered a Togo. The guy who is working here today in the front desk. He is so great and be nice. Love his recommendation and he is doing so well on explaining and helping. You could feel that he has passion on his work.”
“Definitely recommend the Bacon Swiss burger! The best burger I've tried in quiet some time. Great quality, fresh, delicious, and excellent service. The restaurant is always clean.”
“I had a great time. Food was very good and I was very satisfied with the service.Destiny was a great server! She was very kind and responsive and she facilitated a wonderful experience.Moses explained the menu and drinks very well and checked in us throughout the night.Mark and Anthony gave excellent recommendations.Izzy and Christian were great as well checking in and getting everything we needed.”
“The restaurant is located inside a food court. The grilled steak was so amazing, same as the meat ball and pate. So amazing with the bread. The restaurant is cash ”
“The culinary offerings at Joyhear Cafe are commendable, presenting an array of vegetarian dishes that are both gastronomically delightful and gentle on the digestive system. The conscientious preparation of each meal is evident, reflecting a philosophy that marries taste with nutritional benevolence.”
“The pizza was super tasty. Tried vege pizza and tandoori pizza. The place was not too crowded at 630PM. The location is nice .Nice place for a small get together.”
“On part 13958284 of my journey of supporting local businesses around my area… what other coffee shop could beat Spectra Coffee? I’ve been here a couple of times, and wanted to give it a try after not having come here for… about two months I think? Here’s my experience this time around —We came at around 1:30 in the afternoon, shortly after lunch rush hour reeled. To my surprise, I didn’t expect that there was less people than I anticipated. My friend and I got the banana cream latte, the iced vanilla latte with oat milk, and the apple strudel turnover — because they had ran out of the apple crossaints already (which, by the way, are REALLY good and I recommend you get them when you go!).The banana cream latte was just right — it wasn’t too creamy, neither nutty. It had just the right amount and consistency of dairy and everything surrounding it. The oat milk latte, according to my friend, was really taken to a whole new level — the coffee was just right for her too. The apple strudel turnover was just right — the crust was golden and it wasn’t burnt at all. Even an hour later, it felt warm and toasty and still gave that aroma out.The people working at the bar and at cash register were really understanding and gave me recommendations — which I should thank them for because it isn’t easy to choose especially when there’s plenty of options to choose from. Now… this is one I have to talk about. In terms of studying environment, this one can be a hit or miss at times. The parking situation can be quite messy because it’s conveniently located next to a pho place, Trader Joe’s, and Costco. There are also a lot of people in the coffee shop trying to be productive, so at times, they can get quite stubborn to let you sit next to them. I wish I could do something about this… but unfortunately, this is the reality we all have to face sometimes.I’d definitely come again for sure :)Dietary restrictions: They offer non-diary options for your milks! And they also have drinks that are non-dairy as well xDParking: The parking situation is quite tense here — because it’s located next to a bunch of big businesses, parking is really scarce and if you want to find a parking spot next to Spectra, on average you’d have to wait at least 15 minutes for a parking spot. Just to put that into consideration though…”
“I was driving by and saw this ramen shop. Went in and was greeted, humble, and with humor. Service was awesome!!Ordered spicy miso and takoyaki, both taste delicious. Would highly recommend it! Coming back when im in the area.”
“The food is tasty and the interior is warm and inviting. This place is staffed and run by good people and they treated us well. There is a dining patio, but if you plan to dine outdoors, call ahead to confirm the patio is open that day.”
“I just ordered a Togo. The guy who is working here today in the front desk. He is so great and be nice. Love his recommendation and he is doing so well on explaining and helping. You could feel that he has passion on his work.”

“Orchestria will be added to our frequently visited restaurants. Plenty of parking surrounding restaurant. Nostalgic home feel with a unique musical experience. Drinks are limited to wine and non alcoholic drinks but there is something for everyone. Fun place to go with out of town guests or music appreciation friends. Food is plentiful too.”
“Absolute amazing, some of the best Thai food that I’ve ever had. Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice and helpful! Definitely going back!Vegetarian options: Entire vegetarian menu! So many options!”
“Friendly service, delicious food! Wish I had more time to try more from their extensive drink selection but was only passing through. Cute spot for a date ?Vegetarian options: All vegan, cool reading material/posters displayed”
“Take it from a Hong Kong kid...these are seriously legit zongzi that taste just like the cantonese ones I grew up with. Definitely above your typical market rates, but I promise these will be true to the OG flavors. It's mostly a food pick-up type of service where you walk up to a shared space and ring a doorbell to have an aunty bring out your stuff.Online ordering was how I did it, but you can also call/text an order over the phone. The ordering process is a bit unusual in that you have to plan these ahead of time (by about 3-days or so depending on time of week) then wait for a confirmation text on the day of. Unfortunately, impromptu cravings must likely be held at bay. Sometimes you can short-notice stuff if they have leftovers, but that's defintely a gamble. With either planning or luck, you'll then walk off with a hefty bag of deliciousness. You can have the option of getting them freshly cooked or frozen (for stocking up).The zongzi are well packaged and tightly wrapped with color-codings to the string to separate the fillings from each other. It's a bit cryptic, but you'll notice those correspond with the pictures on their ordering site. Descriptions of the fillings are true to their amount and pretty well packed with goodness (none of the mostly-rice-zongzi here). After cracking the first one open and taking my first bite, it was like that Ratatouille moment with Anton having flashbacks to his childhood (but like the Chinese version). Filled with delicious aromas and rich succulent glory, with not a dry spot in (culinary) sight. If that hasn't convinced you to at least try these buggers, I'm not sure what will!”
“Came to pick up lunch quick from work. Ordered a bit ahead and it was ready at the pick up shelves. Very easy to find my bag and overall easy in and easy out.Got the not so fried chicken sandwich which I actually really loves. Perfect sizing and crunch to it.Also got the avocado and quinoa salad, not big into salads but thought I'd try it as it's the best selling salad on door dash but just thought it was ok maybe missing a protein to wrap it all together.Overall will definitely be back to try more sandwiches”
“I'll start by saying that we had an enjoyable dinner overall. The Prawns Meuniere alone are almost worth the price of admission. They were perfectly prepared and scrumptious. The rack of lamb and veal cutlet were fine, but not quite up to the level of the prawns. But the corn soup was only so-so and the creme brulee was below par and we didn't even finish it. Service was friendly and prompt and the setting was nice.”
“This place is cozy and very cute! They have a nice happy hour with delicious drinks. They may be a bit understaffed but they have nice service (just takes a while). I liked the drink and food options during happy hour. Seems like a fun place to get wine and live music as well.”
“Wow. I am impressed! The ceviche and aguachile were great. The duck mole was exquisite. The duck was perfectly cooked with crispy skin. The corn ribs were delightful. Cocktails were great.10/10 can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options on the menu”
“I ordinarily don't leave reviews. But I saw the one on Valentine's day. I was there that night too. I sat near the person leaving the review. I know the person. (not well). I cannot believe they left this unfair review. Every single thing about the night was great. Food...great. Atmosphere...great. Service...spot on. Some people no matter what you cannot make happy. This restaurant is probably the best one to take your loved one. We liked it so much we went again on 2/24. Because we wanted to try some other food. Yes it is expensive. But it is worth it.”
“Super cute vietnamese restaurant in a modern vibe..I dined in the evening, so the lady owner was working super hard to serve her patrons..soups are good, she told us she doesn't put any Msg in her food like most vietnamese restaurants..I had the Beef combination pho that came with a beef bone to chew on on a separate plate which was unique..will recomend !”
“Service was excellent. I got tacos de Al pastor and they were delicious. The salsas are also good, red one if you want some real heat. Sat under a nice shaded tent even though it was very hot and sunny it made it pleasant. Right next to JC Penny and the bus stop. Was hard to find at first for us. When you turn into Eastridge go right. Delicious!”
“Fabulous dining experience. Service was lovely, food was great excellent and interesting. We had the shrimp appetizer, grilled cauliflower, beet salad and we both had the Dungeness crab pasta. Very happy with all of them!”
“This was a special occasion for my husband and me, the 50th anniversary of our first date. The hostess was very friendly. Our server, Nolan was excellent throughout our dining experience. We never felt rushed. All our food came out at the correct temperature. We were able to finish one course before being served the next. Our plates were cleared in a timely manner. Any questions we had were answered without hesitation. When our desserts were served, the chef had written 50 Years in chocolate on my husband's chocolate cake dessert plate. Lance came to chat with us and congratulated us on our anniversary. We were not charged for either of our two desserts. Lance also presented us with his business card and a $25 gift card for our next visit. We will definitely be back!”
“Amazing service and really good poke bowl with large portions and quality ingredients. I was very happy with my food and the friendly staff who stayed open late so I could get food and still took time to chat. I will definitely go back.”
“The pizza was super tasty. Tried vege pizza and tandoori pizza. The place was not too crowded at 630PM. The location is nice .Nice place for a small get together.”

“Came in on a Thursday afternoon. Was only 2 other people at first but then it started to pick up and fill up. Food came out quick. The Brioche French Toast was amazing. Service was excellent as well. Jeremy was a great server, was super attentive, and always made sure to check in on me to see if I needed anything even though he was the only server and had plenty tables. He was the same way with the other tables as well.”
“The food was delicious and the service was amazing Chris the manager was working really hard and talking to everyone to make sure everything was perfect with there food and making everyone happy with good conversations he is a great ”
“Brunch here is great. Omelette always the best. It’s good that they have healthy option in their menus. French toast is delicious as recommended. Clean and nice ambiance. Staff were polite and give us an excellent service. Good to dine in here all the time.”
“I was blown away by the great vibe, cool surroundings, and top notch customer service. Very fast and friendly bartender and kitchen manager. Live music on a Thursday! I had a blast with friends sipping wine, eating, and dancing. The pool in the background looks awesome as well. Highly recommend if you are in this area. Hidden gem.”
“i had a really wonderful experience with the server named Armando, he was very helpful and really kind and overall really went the extra mile for my visit. the rest of the staff the night of 03/06 was also very sweet, i was here to study and get work done for classes and they made sure i sat somewhere quiet and gave me good service. thank you armando!”
“Late post: My company has used Bay Area Ice Cream Catering for ice cream social events and it's been a hit each time. The ice cream is amazing and the toppings are perfect. Employees are like kids in a candy store - they are our go-to each time!”
“It was a good experience overall love the and customer service and it was a nice atmosphere ?Wheelchair accessibility: They had a lady in a wheelchair dinning in she looked very happy and smiling through out the time she was there and she was seated at a nice accessible table”
“The best fast food burgers in the area!!!The burgers were very tasty and fresh, and the fries were hot and really goodThe staff was very nice and friendly. The place is clean.Great value for money.Comfortable location, lots of parking.Definitely will come back!”
“Good service, the food was good, quiet atmosphere to eat with the family, very pleasantParking: You can park wherever you like as there are several spaces to choose from as parking is sufficient.Kid-friendliness: Yeah”
“This is how diner food should be: hot, quick, and completely indulgent. Chicken is fried and comes with fries AND a side of pancakes if that's what you want. Drinks were cold and refilled as requested. You could even over here the waiter talking to a few regulars at the counter so you just knew you were in for a hearty meal and good service at a fair price.Parking: Good size parking lot. Go around the back to get access to it”
“Had it again, and a little better this time. 5 stars. First time was a lil sloppy, aswell as i was a little sloppy tbh. Honest review, from a sober patron; nice burger”
“Last visit we found that the buns were different and totally made for a big mess, the buns just disintegrated to the point it was knives and forks time. Flavor was as usual, ok. $30 for a Superstar and Chicken Club sandwich, onion rings and zucchini rounds. Considering I can get a sit down meal with better food.”
“Slow drive thru and over half of the dAmned time they never have got my order right.so they have a Spanish up bringing iam starting to learn now Armenian what next dinga Ling ring ding ring a Ling ding wong ho wong ho lmdao come as you like come as you are too Jack N The Bo ha and no thank you I'm allergic too you I breake out in hank cuff'S Dat way see.,!!!$$$%100= travi'Sia”
“The food is always consistent so I can't really complain I gave it five stars the service is pretty good the atmosphere is not bad at all I was looking for some action cuz it was in a part of town that's known for having criminal activity but not at this place they also have a EV charging area right behind I believe it's yeah Round Table they have a charging a place there that you could to charge your vehicle if you're driving one and you need to take a break from a long trip kick back at Denny's while you're EV charges up other than that it's Denny's the food is pretty consistent even though they have changed their bacon and it's not as good as it used to be but I can live with that hope it's helpful to you take your patience there's also quite a bit of bad drivers around that area that's my experience either drive too slow or it's not slow enough so if you have patience stop by”
“Landed @ SJC on Southwest at Gate 36 , we were walking towards terminal, the Yo-Kai Express sign for ramen and rice bowls caught my eyes, I was expecting counter service but noticed the vending machine. My son and I thought it was so cool, I've seen social media post on these machines in Japan. Therefore, I was super excited to get to give it a try. I assumed this machine is new here at SJC, I recall another customer mentioned it's new, she wanted to give it a try but didn't have enough time before her flight. "Disclaimer", Before ordering you will have to consent to the product that is served hot and the soup content may scald, to avoid serious harm you are aware of using this product. From experience the bowl of noodles really comes out HOT, so please be careful. There are alot of noodle soup choices to choose from, even rice bowls. Taiwan beef noodle soup, Tantanmen, Black garlic tonkatsu ramen with soft boil egg, vegan udon, Tokyu shoyu ramen, spicy kimchi pork ramen, & Vietnamese beef pho. Some items were sold out. The prices for ramen varies and will tell you once you click on the item. We ended up trying the spicy kimchi pork bowl which is $13.99, total with tax $15.30, paid via credit card, my son and I was surprised at how this machine's ability to make our ramen. It was making a cool sound, while the machine was preparing our bowls. The only junk part about enjoying this bowl, it is hard to eat sitting down, w/no tables. We were lucky we saw an empty counter which we got to set the bowl down for photos. ( it is covered with plastic and lid) I love the little utensil kit with mini chop sticks, fork, spoon, and napkin, comes in a box. Overall, the bowl came out as pictured, kim chi, half cooked egg, pork belly, it tasted pretty good, a little on the salty side. I loved that it was piping hot, compared to some ramen shop the ramen comes out lukewarm and the broth is hot coming out of a vending machine. Wow! I can't wait to check out this machine again when we fly out of SJC during our future trips. I want to see how the rice bowl is and try the other ramen flavors. Yo-Kai Express is between Gate 33-34, kind of out of the way if you are not boarding near this gate, but worth the experience to give it a try. I am glad we got to check out this vending machine for the very first time, Technology is super cool!!”

“Jubba Somali Restaurant offers an authentic culinary experience that tantalizes the taste buds. The roasted goat dish is a standout, bursting with flavor and tender meat. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is warm and welcoming. A must-try for anyone seeking delicious Somali cuisine.”

“I've been coming to this place for years now, and it never disappoints. The food is so delicious. The staff are friendly, and the service is quick. Everything we tasted was incredible.”
“I was looking for mini cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and found Lil Bites Bakery. Lindley was very helpful and thorough with all my questions. His responses to my email did not go through to my email initially, but he made sure that I received the answers, so he emailed me from his personal email, which is customer service right there. The day of delivery (during a storm), he came early just to make sure we would get them on time. The mini cupcakes and fruit tarts were so cute and delicious! I appreciated the little details as well, such as a birthday card for my daughter. Highly recommend!”
“I had a great experience at some some, It's a unique ice cream spot with quick service and a standout flavor – their matcha ice cream is a must-try! However, it's a bit disappointing that they don't allow flavor sampling and have limited flavors. Overall, it's worth a visit for the delicious treats and speedy service.”
“This store is Old School and delightfully stocked with cake decorating supplies that will have nearly everything your looking for, from fillings to many boxes for your baked delectables; including sprinkles, rental plans and maybe a learning class or two. Enjoy!”
“Very refreshing on a hot day! Got the original sugarcane juice in a large. Definitely worth it and not as sweet as one would think when trying sugar cane juice! Would come back!”
“We had the best vada pav, Dabeli, paav bhaji and poori chole here. Absolutely delicious! No one in the surrounding South Bay comes close to this place. The place is small and very clean. The family running the place were friendly, very welcoming and sweet. I wish I had visited this place earlier. This is my new go to place for Indian food.Even my 8yr old loved their food and the spice levels and he is a picky eater.”
“Excellent cheesecakes! I ordered a case for a Valley Transportation Event and it was a perfect size. It was very delicious, just the right amount of sweetness and all the flavors were on point. Great customer service/experience as well. Thanks Chuck!”
“Craving satisfied! Finally found a place that does Donne Biryani right. Loved the Jackfruit version - flavorful and filling. Must-try alongside their Guntur Chicken - delicious and perfectly spiced. (Went on a Tuesday!)”
“Family owned local business ~ used to come here so often but due to pandemic, haven't been here for awhile.Food still so good. Service always good.Parking: Easy parking”
“Clover has been the spot for a long time since my high school days. It seems like it went crazy on tiktok and the lines became bigger. During the times I’ve gone recently, it’s been totally fine. The onigiri is actually the best I’ve ever had ? and they continue to add vegetarian options. ?”
“Been going here for years, arancini is great. The prices have gone up a little over the years, but the quality is still great. Heck, most of the staff is the same too. Even after not going for a few months you can still be recognized and the guys can make a pretty good guess of what you're asking for even if you can't be heard above the lunch crowd. Fortunately they always have enough people working the counter that you can be out in a couple of minutes.Parking: very large number of spots behind the restaurant. Just need to walk around the corner.Wheelchair accessibility: This store is so cramped, there wouldn't be any room to maneuver a wheelchair, especially during lunch.”
“This is a standout brewery among the San Jose options and we had a fantastic time there. They have a very long and varied list of brews + games + food from a delicious food truck.”
“What a cute little spot in downtown! Stopped here for a girls night catch up and they had the perfect little room with a couch and fire for an intimate vibe. The ambiance is so perfect and cozy for a more relaxed night out. The bartenders were so nice and helpful when ordering. The food was pretty straight to the point but yummy so I can't complain. The viognier was crisp but I definitely enjoyed the Bella Montagna Sav Blanc more. I would definitely come back here for a date night!”
“I am a HUGE fan of 365 Mediterranean! My company orders from them often via Relish and I always look forward to having them on the menu. I came to their store for the first time and there was tons of parking and seating. The food also came out super quickly (+ a free piece of chocolate). Their portions are always large and the food is always delicious! Highly recommend checking out 365”
“This is a very, for lack of a better word, unique and almost strange coffee shop in Bay Area. Yes, it feels like a coffee brewery rooted in Berkeley or Portland that suddenly drops into San Jose downtown one day, no notification, just happened. So yes, for this kind of creative free spirit run place, you should be open minded, and open to experience non-traditional coffee beans. To start, ask for pourover, your chance to explore various of flavors. We tried Amerina, noted to be honey & stone berries, and it tasted like cold brew coffee jumps into a generous pot of floral green tea; the balance of lightly floral scent of the coffee is spectacular & pleasant , it’s a flavor that’s rarely found. Then India, noted to be various berries incl. black berries, tasted peculiar: like a book soaked in water & dimmed into a coffee pot; a very strong note of wet papers. And the bean choices are overwhelming, we picked the Yellow Fruit, and it’s fermented with cherry. We used our owned coffee machine to make espresso with it:OK, it’s just perfectly balanced with the smoothness of expresso, and ended with a note of a juicy ripe water bursting cherry. They didn’t mark the bean price but the bag of bean is the most expensive bag I’ve ever bought. But it’s worth it!”

Claw Shack
“I came here with my brother. I ordered the crawfish and got the spice level at medium. The flavors are what you'd expect from these places and I couldn't tell of the crawfish was frozen or not but I would've guessed it wasn't because the meat didn't stick to the shell. I was pleasantly surprised.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“This bar is a hidden gem. The staff if most certainly nothing less than perfect. The greeter and I had a great conversation about bars in Santa Cruz, they were fantastic. Catrina, Jose, Jacob and Maui were pleasant on several occasions. I was a server and manager for over 10 years at the most high profile restaurants (Morton’s for one, which is 12 steps of service) so I know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m sorry but the Asian woman at the bar was also great but I didn’t get her name. I told them my conditions (“this is the first time I’ve drank in a year, please make me something nice. It doesn’t have to be heavily alcohol just has to taste good”) They made me exactly what I wanted. It literally made me feel special. Jacob with the great conversations, Maui and Catrina with the prime mixology. Jose was awesome with being attentive. If you read this review, trust it was out of love at 5:14 AM. I appreciate them and I most definitely will be coming back.”
“Even though the Drive through line was wrapped around the building it only took 20min to get my order it was hot and delicious all the employees had smile on there faces and very friendly.”
“I really, really enjoyed the food here! Our orders came out pretty quickly (ordered takeout), and the staff who helped us greeted us promptly, and was very professional.”
“Be prepared to wait upwards of 30-45min for your food. Going inside to order saves you about 10-15min or so vs sitting at drive through again depends on how long the line of cars are but Going inside to order doesn't save to much time.”
“We’ve been coming to Tony & Albas for several years. This is a family run business that has great food and even better customer service. We love coming here and it’s one of go to’s for family night dinners!”
“Good food. Felt like homemade food. Had bisi bele bath, kosambri, saru, veg sagu, roti and some payasam. Quantity was good! There is only take out here. We waited for about 30 mins. So anyone going here advisable to order before you go.”
“I don't normally review fast food places, you basically already know what you're going to get. In n out is similar, but I feel like this location goes above and beyond. Each time I've been it seems like there's better service at this location, maybe it's because they are of of the newer locations, but who knows. The food is the same quality and speed you'd expect, and I feel like the drive through isn't as slow as other locations either.”
“This is my family's third time here. We are always welcomed warmly and Tyler has always greeted my kids with enthusiasm and a smile. We are definitely new regulars here for laundry day. We love the food, the service and price, they make us feel like family. God bless this ”
“You are walking around the neighborhood, catching the San Jose sunset and you come across a bar. Your friendly neighborhood bar.You walk in, greeted by friendly servers, eager to seat you. Instantly you feel welcomed and warm inside. You walk over to your seat, looking around, captivated by rustic vibes. The music, loud enough to appreciate and low enough to engage in friendly conversation. Glancing down at your menu, you see a variety of finger foods and drinks. You decide to enjoy a Margarita pizza. A yummy vegetarian option, covered in a sweet balsamic glaze. Your server comes to check in on you, they are full of smiles and service.Something about this bar gives you that safe, comfortable feeling, a place where you can watch a game or two, go on a date, read a book, make new friends and socialize. I 10/10 recommend this spot. They have events from time to time, live music, a variety of get togethers. Come alone or grab a group of friends. I’ve been here so many times in 2023, it’s became one of my frequent spot.”
“5 years ago I posted that I love this location. Still 5 years later my love is still there. We moved out of the area but every trip back there we go there for coffee and my the staff are still really top quality and make the coffee experience that much better. Highly recommend this location.”
“Visited this restaurant 30mins before closing. Pretty good service and food. The order came in within 10 mins. The person who took our order(Lila) seems to be new and learning, but was super sweet and gave us complimentary chai too :)”
“I've been to lots of bay area taquerias and this place has the best wet burrito I've ever had from any restaurant. Big burritos cheap prices. Everyone needs to try this place”
“This used to be a Burger King and awesomely they still have the drive-through going on but I have not utilized it yet for pho. They did a good job of shaping up the interior and the drab windows are even tinted with color now.I liked the broth of the beef pho and it came with a good amount of meat and green onions surprisingly. The noodle portion was on the small side. They add an automatic 10% service fee which is fine as I would at least tip that much but just FYI in case anyone didn't notice and take that into account before tipping more.”
“I ordered to go two- item bento box and salmon sashimi. The Salmon was cut right, fresh, and super delicious! I love the generous helping of wasabi as well and ginger”
“I’m a regular for their breakfast burrito in the morning ? place is always clean, staff is friendly and we share laughs, bathrooms key available upfront (no need to ask for it), and the horchata is so good ?”
“Only complaint is a 4% charge to pay with a card. Prices are a little expensive but what isn't these days. My burrito was very big which helped absorb the pain of the cost. Unfortunately many places are now charging $12 for a burrito which is way overpriced unless it's a really good size burrito. My burrito was actually decent and pretty good. Place was very clean and the outside bathroom had just been cleaned so it was very nice and looked well kept. Workers seemed nice as well.Parking: Parking is limited to a small parking lot and some street parking but i came at a slower time of night so i had no problem. I could easily see however that during a very busy rush parking could become limited. Handicap takes up some of the parking area.Kid-friendliness: Regular restaurant. Just no playground but it's a good family spotWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant”
“First time at this place everything we order was great. We order gumbo, collard greens, Mac and cheese, banana pudding, sweet potato pie, and lemonade drink. Highly recommend and definitely will be back.”
Cheap Eats
“Great food and kind people is rare in the same building. This place has out of the park quality with bores head meat company paired with fresh sourdough. I wish there were more locations but that never ends up withholding the quality. Ikes for example. Maybe it's better to only have one location.”
“It has been a while since I went to Peter's Bakery. I only came for a piece of pie, but I walked out with a mini lemon meringue, apple square, oatmeal raisin cookies, blueberry pastry, 2 brownies, and some rock chip cookies. ?”
“One of my top Vietnamese sandwich shop. I think this was the first duc huong sandwich shop in San Jose. They originally had just a cha pork meatloaf place on king road but they didn’t make sandwich there. I would say the sandwich were a lot larger and cheaper when they first open up. Now they are a bit more expensive and slightly shorter. They do put a lot of meat and vegetables in it. Sandwich wise, it either this place or the Bánh mi oven across the street for me.”
“Took my teenaged son and we had the messy burger. Although they had ALL the stuff to put on a burger you could think of in a salad bar type setting so you could add what and how much of what you wanted to your burger we added nothing and it was the best tasting burger in the bay area. I live in milpitas and it is worth the drive for their burgers!! Definitely recommend this as a must do for any foodie out there !!”
“I took my girlfriend here and the food was great I got the fish sandwich with garlic fries and my girlfriend got the fish and shrimp combo both of us got the strawberry lemonade and it's was slappin would come back for ”
“GUILDHOUSE CREATES THE BEST MEMORIES, their drinks are super creative and engaging but tastes so good at the same time ? guildhouse is def a place to stop by if you are a ”
“As someone who loves matcha, I was super excited to dry the drinks and desserts here. So far, I have tried the lychee matcha, white peach matcha, honey hojicha latte, and the matcha soft serve. Everything was soooo yummy. The lychee matcha is my favorite out of the fruit matcha drinks. The honey hojicha was the perfect sweetness and earthiness. My mom got the soft serve, so I stole a bite, the matcha flavor was there. You order at a kiosk and the drinks are placed on the counter for you to grab once they're done making them. Inside, there is limited seating, but there is plenty of space for you to wait for your order. Parking can be a pain in the plaza, but if you don't come during peak hours, it shouldn't be too bad. Will be returning soon to try the other drinks I've been wanting to try!”
“One of the few hometowns, small business owners, and American (it's a creed) donut shop still left standing! Fresh, wide selection, welcoming and appreciative for your business patronage.”
“I wanted to try korean food and this place is the best. Everything I've ordered here are great. I haven't tried everything yet, but so far I know that everything will be awesome. Try the spicy tteokboki with cheese, tofu soup, la galbi, bulgogi and the dumplings whether fried or boiled is yummy! The spam kimbap is also great. Even the veggie tteokboki is yummy! :) Definitely recommend! I can't get enough of the food at this place!”
“Our favorite place to go for Indian pizza. If it is your first time, you cannot go wrong with the "creamy" pizzas. If you like spicy food, go with creamy chili chicken tikka masala pizza. It is absolutely amazing! They have a 30% discount all day Tuesdays ???”
“These donuts are perfection and the flavors are unique and delicious. I feel like we have lost a lot of great vegan spots recently, so I’m thankful for these donuts. They are incredibly special!”
“Don't be fooled by the lack of luster this restaurant has, because the food and service here 5/5. Immediately when we entered we were greeted and directed on how to order. We decided to go with the small clam chowder and three piece fish chips. We assumed the fried fish would be regular sizes. Nope, they were three big hefty thick meaty fillets, stunned! Had I known the size we would have stuck with two pieces. Overall did not regret the decision since we enjoyed the leftovers. Also their tartar sauce is ridiculously good, I dipped my fries in them as well. But the star from my experience is the service of the staff and crew. I genuinely felt so welcomed here, not rushed at all, very accommodating, your employees were friendly to me and every person they interacted with. A fine dining experience serving delicious, hot, crispy fish & chips.”
“Cutest little coffee shop! Lattes are delicious, Mexican mocha is a bit sweet and the bagels are freshly made that morning! Veggie burrito is AMAZING because the tortilla is so warm and chewy. Scones are also yummy as is the oat ”
“Fantastic place in the south bay for a legit cup of espresso based drinks. The place gets real busy through the day with all tables occupied. One of the few places open until 6pm! The best part though are the baristas. Super cool, easy going, always eager to chat about coffee or anything. Great vibe. P.S: Parking can be difficult on weekends”
“Exceptional crew here today just after lunch. Very professional and friendly team and a really clean shop. Delicious vanilla green tea matcha made with love, cause the barista said so.Parking: n/a”

“Had an early dinner here on a Sunday. We ordered the trio sampler appetizer and cancha to start. The fish was so fresh in the pescado ceviche and both the potato dishes went well with it! We shared this with three people so we would have room for our main dishes. I had lomo saltado, at the table we also had seafood mariscos and seafood saltado. The seafood mariscos was my favorite but both saltados were delicious! The service was quick and attentive! Will absolutely be ordering here again. Vibe wise: The music they were playing sounded like an epic film score from the 70s or something. We tried to Shazam it and it was "not found" so you know it's real! It wasn't busy but it was sort of between lunch and dinner when we went.”
“Just as I remember it. I come in and it’s a positive, easy morning experience. Great customer service, delicious food and fairly priced. Thank you to the professional waiters, and server Mayra keep up the outstanding work!”
“Pomodoro Pizza is my go-to spot for a fantastic meal. The cozy atmosphere and friendly owner make me feel right at home. The pizzas are the real stars here – thin, crispy crusts loaded with fresh, tasty toppings. What's even better is that they're open to making custom pizzas based on your preferences. The best part is the welcoming owner who is always ready to go the extra mile. He makes sure you have a great time. Pomodoro Pizza isn't just a place to eat; it's a place to enjoy amazing food and friendly service. It has become one of my favorite spots, and I can't wait to go back!”
“My best place for cocido and chicken enchiladas, I really love this place, and the service is great,Today Jan 20th, 2024Tries is still the best place to enjoy great food great personal, and the cooks are awesome, still 5 stars.”
“This place is cozy and very cute! They have a nice happy hour with delicious drinks. They may be a bit understaffed but they have nice service (just takes a while). I liked the drink and food options during happy hour. Seems like a fun place to get wine and live music as well.”

“My new favorite place to go in San Jose! I live an hour northeast of this place and I will gladly drive down with my family to enjoy great food here. I tried this place for the first time on Tuesday with my friend and then came back with my family and friends on Sunday. We loved it and the server was kind enough to let my family taste their ube waffle for free! Love their food and service! Thank you Duy! It was great chatting with you and learning a little bit on how you started the business. Wish you and your wife much more success. Also, wishing you can open a bigger location and possibly multiple locations in the very near future ?”

“We went on Valentine's Day, not the perfect day because there a lot of couples ahead of us but we're able to secure a table, so that's a good thing. The atmosphere and food was absolutely a steal compare so other fancy sushi place. I loved the Philadelphia Roll and the wife liked the avocado roll. Sushi Roll was to go for quality with a budget in mind.”

“The food is tasty and the interior is warm and inviting. This place is staffed and run by good people and they treated us well. There is a dining patio, but if you plan to dine outdoors, call ahead to confirm the patio is open that day.”
“This place is amazing; steak bagel & raw bowl are my favorite, plus the staff here are nice & work hard which makes it worth coming here. Thank & appreciate you, y'all make it with coming here!”
“Our local favorite north Indian food. Usually doing takeouts. Excellent Butter Chicken, Masala Bhindi, Malay Kofta and our recent favorite, Shrimp curry (JHINGA LABABDAR). Rice is included but don't miss out on the fresh Naan or Roti! All great tasting, you can choose the level of spiciness and they are always great when ordering the takeout by phone. The food is always ready on time for pickup.”
“Located in Vietnam Town, Enjoy Seoul is in a corner of the left building when you pull into the lot. It isn't the biggest, but definitely clean. My mom and I were seated immediately for an early dinner. We are regulars here as my mom thinks this is her favorite Korean restaurant, and I have to say the soup and the stone bibimbap is also probably the best too. It was more than enough food for the two of us, and we had about one serving left to bring home. I think the banchan helps make the meal filling! Service is average, but in a good way. Took a star down because the table next to us got their food first but we ordered before them, and they seemed to order the same thing we did. Overall, definitely will come back again, and if you do go, try not to go during lunch or dinner rush because it's not that big and you might wait a while.”
“Best thin crust pizza around! Fresh and perfectly cooked toppings are always loaded to the edges, and the crust is always crispy. This visit we started with the Chick Pick and added bell peppers and garlic. I don’t think I’ve ever complemented bell peppers on pizza before, but these were perfectly diced and tender but still with a bite. Cicero’s Special is always good; I always love how fresh the olives taste.Highly recommend this place if you love crispy thin crust pizza!”
“Korean-operated restaurant with excellent Soon Tofu soup and tasty banchan (side dishes).Probably my favorite in the bay area. Grew up on Korean food and this Soon Dubu soup hits the spot. Very clean and fast too. Staff is very nice.”
“Great people, great musicians, first time hearing the jam session but this place always has the best beer in town..I don't miss TIRED HOUSE at all???✌️??”
“Loved the ambiance at night, they have live music on Thursdays going until 9PM. The service was fast and the place was not too crowded, but busy enough to not feel empty. There is a decent selection of beers from the brewery, I think they're all good quality and priced reasonably for draft micro brewery prices in the bay area”

Siena Bistro
“My meal was excellent. I ordered the chicken marsala dressed with mushrooms and steamed vegetables. The portion of food, in my opinion, was just right. While you wait, you're offered two complimentary pieces of warm bread. The environment is cozy, and the staff was friendly. Before I left, the chef came out to chat with the customers. Nice guy, extremely funny. Prices are fair compared to every other inflated restaurant. I recommend giving this place a try.”

Yard House
“I waited 50 minutes before we were seated and I was okay with it because it was explained to us at check in when we arrived for booths they take a lot longer to free up. After tonight's experience, the wait for worth it!Atmosphere is really cool, great music, super busy but the service is on top of their game ??. I never felt I waited too long for my server to check on us, I had my cocktails in a timely manner. Our food was super delicious, ALL OF IT was ?.”

“Fabulous dining experience. Service was lovely, food was great excellent and interesting. We had the shrimp appetizer, grilled cauliflower, beet salad and we both had the Dungeness crab pasta. Very happy with all of them!”
“Do you think I'm crazy?" Elon Musk asked me this question towards the end of a long dinner at a fine seafood restaurant in Silicon Valley. I got there first and settled in with a gin and tonic because I knew that Musk was, as usual, late would come.”
“While out touring properties in San Jose, we decided to stop by Boiling Crab for an early dinner. The wait wasn't bad, considering it was around 3 PM and they open at 2pm, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. What i like J’s as we wait we are able to enjoy a drink of our choice while waiting for a table. The food was delicious, although I noticed that the shrimp bags seemed to have less sauce this time around. It felt like they had reduced the amount of sauce, prompting us to order extra sauce for an additional charge, which wasn't a big issue, but it was a noticeable difference compared to previous visits. Despite this, the overall service was exceptional, as always. The waitress was consistently friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One interesting observation was that they allowed a lady to sell balloons to customers, which provided a unique form of entertainment, especially for children. Overall, I definitely recommend this spot. Arriving earlier to beat the crowd and minimize wait times is advisable, given that they open at 2 PM.”
“I am not a big fan of Mexican food at all. However, I give this place 5 stars. The food is very delicious. Love ceviche.I am sure the other dishes on the menu are just as good as ceviche. Please stop by this restaurant.”

“One of the hidden gems in a shopping mall of all places. This is definitely not food court quality! Great food and great service every time. The best sushi in the area, and the non sushi dishes, while limited in selection, are definitely not limited in flavor. The best Katsu Donburi anywhere! The rib-eye plate is as good as the best steakhouse rib-eye, if not better! Service is attentive and efficient. Forget shopping, come to the mall just for the best Japanese food anywhere!”
“Stopped by between errands this rainy day, got gyoza, Kim chee pancake (wow!), bulgogi beef, spicy chicken. Fantastic, rice in little containers, and the side pickle plates (kim chee, potato, bean sprouts, and cucumbers slices) in sealed film lil boxes make a delightful presentation back home. Folks who think fluffy pancakes are going to taste floury are flat out WRONG. This isn't your childhood bisquik, this is magnificent and tasty in every bite. Under the ten minute estimated wait, thank you? We've been here once before and will come again!”

Burger Pit
“I've been a regular customer for about 50 years. This is the last one still open. Sadly, the landlord isn't renewing their lease. So April 23, 2024 is supposed to be their last day open. The place is always busy now since the announcement. The staff is friendly, the food comes up hot and fresh. Our favorite is the ribeye sandwich with a baked potato. Reasonably affordable.”
“Favorite build your own pizza spot in the South Bay. Crust is thin and crispy, lots of topping options (4+ types of cheeses).A bunch of beer on tap, around 20 I believe.Pretty convenient location, next to Round 1 and Aloha roller rink.”
“Solid Bill's Cafe. Ordered takeout and food came out fast, hot, fresh, securely packaged and cooked to perfection. They made no mistakes and included all the condiments. Overall great deal for a quality meal. 10/10!”
“Had a 16oz build your own bowl from Palmetto Foods. I downloaded the app and ordered for the first time, so I was able to get a 15% discount. I love how you can build your own bowl and add unlimited toppings. They have a great selection and options of bases and toppings to choose from. I went the safe route (for me) and got acai and passionate mango, both of which I enjoyed a lot. Would definitely come back again!”
“WOW - what a gem in downtown SJ! Had a girls night out and we had a great time here. The food is amazing! The menu has plenty of great items and we shared quite a few and left very full! The service was excellent! I highly recommend this 'divine' restaurant!”
“ABVE the Basics is the definition of elevated Mexican food. I was very surprised by how creative and flavorful the food was. I would definitely come back for another bite.”
“I love their pizza and salad but the new owner has a very bad attitude she was very rude to me and my aunt they messed up the salad the last time I went she owed us one I ordered with egg she said don't think your getting premium added just 6 items I was so upset the salad was awful they should of changed the name the new owner lady don't smile very ugly attitude as I said before you lost my happiness for this place no smile”

Shabu Time
“Always a phenomenal time here. Constant quality of food and service. The only knock is it's a little smaller and not easy to accommodate larger parties. But the staff here is always amazing and as accommodating as much as possible. My favorite Shabu restaurant in the South Bay.”

PHIN BAR
“What a great place to grab coffee and enjoy your morning. The coffee here is spectacular if you love coffee also if you love cool looking places. They offer a variety of flavored coffee drinks which I truly avoid but in this case, my wife tried one of the flavored ones and really enjoyed it. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. I can't say anything bad about the service as well. Come here have a small talk with a friend and enjoy your drink. Definitely recommended and don't miss out.Pros: coffee, staff, decorCons: popular:)Stars: 4.5”
“Pretty good food. Ordered an udon and teriyaki chicken donburi bowl. I wish the bowl had swapped the egg bits for pickled ginger, that would have added much more flavor. A little pricey and it’s all disposable utensils.”
“Good food, AMAZING rice. The service was great and quick, the guy who took my order was very kind and welcoming. The lady who served our food was also very kind! Once receiving my food I grabbed some utensils from the side and will say the food is great is you're looking for Caribbean food, the chicken is seasoned well and the salsa they give is good. Definitely recommend the mango drink they have, probably my favorite part of the meal!”

Chez Sovan
“Anyone who puts less than 5 stars is out of their mind. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and Bryan still remembers and greats me with a hug even if it has been years since we've seen each other. The quality of food and richness of the recipes from Bryan's mother are incomparable, and every dish tastes just as good as when I had it 20+ years ago. Yes the location and ambiance aren't fine dining, but it's part of the charm that makes chez sovan CHEZ SOVAN. Come here without intentions, have Bryan make you whatever he wants and you will be happy with it all.”

Yuki Sushi
“Yuki sushi was a delightful dinner. It gave typical sushi restaurant vibes and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free Udon appetizer dish! We has The Shark Roll, The Dougie, and of course Miso soup. Tasty, unique, and fresh.”
“It's a Hole in the Wall Bar with Ultra Friendly Service. I didn't even wanted to drink, just use the restroom. But when the vibe is nice and music is playing why not stop and have a beer or 2. The owner Ramon was bartending and even though he was busy, always made sure I was good. I'll be back again.”
“Pretty good place. Shiro Wot is simply the best among the BA offerings. Don't miss their coffee. They roast their own and the espresso is simply flavor rich and fresh!”

IZAKA-YA
“Authentic Japanese izakaya with a wide selection of delicious Japanese food, everything from ramen and sashimi to curry and bentos. Lots of great side dishes too, I personally enjoy the natto, sushi to pepper and tsukemono. They also have plenty of Japanese beers and sake. Open pretty late too (11pm) for when you get a late night craving for Japanese food.”

Amato's
“Love this place, great cheese stakes!!!! Not the high quality diner but the food makes up for the outdated bar stools and tables. A "Must Try" if you like a good cheese stake sandwich!”
“Yummy food here! We came to this place while visiting Amato's. Our daughter doesn't like cheese stake sandwiches but loves pizza. This place has a variety of pizzas and other goodies. The place looks clean and the staff is friendly. There's also plenty of parking as there is a parking lot. Price is reasonable for what you get. The food is delicious! You'll be coming back here to try some of their other pizza mash ups. They have several different types of pizzas. You'll be wanting to try more than one. I would recommend this place! It's delicious!”
“They're known for chavindecas (their namesake), which we enjoyed, but we also loved the volcanes. Remember to also get their horchata, among the best I've ever had.”
“Food was excellent and a wonderful selection of local beer. I'm not even vegan and I lived everything we tried. My BF and I went on a Tuesday and enjoyed the music and conversation with the chef and his son during a quiet moment. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!”
“Don't let the name fool you, Sizzling Lunch is an awesome dining option any time of day. I've been a regular here since I found out about it a few years ago and I won't be stopping any time soon. The food is delivered to the table raw and unmixed on a sizzling hot plate, allowing you to mix everything up and cook it to your desired level before chowing down. The real stars of the show in my opinion are the Garlic Shoyu and Teriyaki sauces that are available on every table. They form a delectable combination, and as soon as my meal arrives at the table I'm pouring a generous portion of each on top of my food so that the flavors can meld together as it cooks. It may be all in my head, but there is something great about digging into a dish of steaming food that was cooked just a few second ago. Forget farm-to-table, it's all about pan-to-mouth for that truly fresh experience.A final word of advice from personal experience, don't wear a white shirt! While they provide a small paper splash guard around the food, there will inevitably be some splatter that escapes the confines of the plate and winds up on everything within a one foot radius so be careful and plan ahead.”
“Super spot. So lucky to have found this gem just around my neighbourhood. It has become our favourite date night or 'I don't feel like cooking' joint. They cook the pizza to perfection, well done and crisp, with a pungent olive oil taste present in the dough; even when reheated the next day! I absolutely love their pesto. The staff is very cordial, and they really sell the 'Sicilian' experience. Attention to details = amazing, they put out mini personal fireplaces by the tables. So cozy. Love it.Vegetarian options: They are able to accommodate for vegetarians. The pesto gnocchi and vegetable pizza are super!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and a private party room.”
“One of the best birria tacos i've ever had in my life. The person who served me was one of the coolest and genuine person ever. He made sure he got me right. The music is bumping and the vibes are dope.Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants delicious tacos”
“My friends recommended me this place and I always wanted to try it but didn’t get a chance. I did went there today for lunch and trust me the food was amazing. I tried their kebabs and wraps and it was really good. The staff was incredibly attentive, catering to our every need without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, which made choosing our dishes a delightful experience. Will definitely come back to try their others options from the menu.”
“The restaurant is better than the movie. However, it’s a bit like watching a comedy or perhaps being in a comedy. Not sure if the jokes on me or on her though. Be prepared to bring your hunger because the food is delish. Don’t forget to bring your wit too. It’s an improv gameshow stuffing your face trying not to laugh with your mouth open while you chew. Thanks for being a great game show host Ellie.”
“Really good Mexican food spot. Will leave u fill everything there is super good. The chips and salsa are so good the chips come off the fryer and served hot highly recommended this ”
“We have lunch here on the first day of the dragon year. The food is so delicious! Great flavor and presentation. Everything is clean and fresh. I love the basil fries and avocado tartar. Definitely coming back ?”
“It's a nice food court for adults (and families with kids) to spend a nice casual afternoon or evening eating, drinking and listening to, most of the times, nice live music. My family and I love this ”
“So darn impressed with this spot and so disappointed I did not eat here sooner. This place has been around for quite some time now. Probably the best and affordable vegetarian food. The food is quite amazing! I had various dishes to share with my mom, grandma and aunties. We had the following dishes...39 com chien ca man / Salted fish fried rice - 8/10 Not amazing but solid74A Ga ram Gung / Ginger Vegan Chicken - 10/10 my fav dish that day. It is identical to how my mom makes it but of course vegan. They use king oyster mushrooms 78 Canh Chua / Vietnamese style sweet n sour soup - delicious and not too sour. again 10/10. Just like my mamas!Eggplant stir fry - not sure the #. 7/10 not a big egg plant fan, but this is a basic veggie stir fry dish Last item is a dish I am having a hard time finding on the menu. My mom had already ordered everything before I arrived so I unfortunately did not get the name but it is a "meat" dish that you eat with white rice. It was serviced with mangos and cucumber. It was identical to the meat version. I was blown away. It was sooo soo good. It sure brought back some memories for my vegetarian aunties. Service was great. I want to come back here soon!”
“I love how you can watch the chefs cook your food in the woks in their "open" kitchen. The only downside is I smelled pretty smoky afterwards. I stopped by in a group of 2 on a Saturday night for a small dinner. It wasn't too crowded inside with many free tables, although there were many people who picked up delivery/takeout orders during my meal. We got the mapo tofu ($13.99), stir-fried string beans with pork ($15.99), and a bowl of rice each ($2/ea). The mapo tofu came on this sizzling plate that kept it hot the whole time! The tender pieces of tofu were swimming in a savory sauce that had a numbing kick. The pieces of pork in this dish were pretty small and added some umami flavor to the dish, but the tofu was the star of the show. I am glad we ordered rice to soak up all the tasty sauce! The stir-fried string beans had a lot of peppery flavor and were nicely blistered on the surface. Although the string beans were glistening on the surface they did not feel or taste too greasy. The pork in this dish was saltier than in the mapo tofu and at times was a bit too salty for me. I wouldn't have minded the dish without the pork and might even try ordering it without pork next time. The servers are kind and attentive. The seating area is not the fanciest but this is a great spot for a casual and tasty meal!”

Juice Alize
“These days it becomes challenging to find a place with REAL juice. High Quality juice that your body needs. I've been to many places for real juice & I can tell you first hand that this place is what you are looking for.”
“I've been in the US for more than 10 years but cannot find a place with a good bún mọc or bánh cuốn that resembles my favorite childhood flavor. This restaurant offered me that. Will definitely go here when I come back to San Jose in the future.”
“A big portion for me. It looks Iike for two people to have it. Home made sauces are a plus for the foods. Also, no bones with the chicken. Tasty side dish of pickled veggies. Yummy and Delicious! So glad they added some many varieties menu now that makes me have more choices and want to go there more often.”

Sushi Jae
“We love this place it is our favorite sushi restaurant in san jose. The sushi chef and servers are super nice they remember us and make us feel like family. Super fresh sushi and friendly service. 49er roll is family fave. also kids love the tempura ice cream.”
“This is our go to spot the only pizza for me and the fam! Always comes out great and fresh. The wings are fried to perfection and covered in Buffalo sauce. Its delicous the sevice is good and delivery is fast! I would definitely recommend!”
“The best brunch place in San Jose Midtown!Omelettes and benedicts are worth dying for. This place is usally open till 3pm and is closed for the rest of the day.You may find a parking spot for your car inside the community garage (the entrance is located at the back of the buidling, opposite safeway where two hours parking is free). If you dont find a place to park, you can always park at the safeway store across the street near mcdonalds/safeway (not recommended).A superb joint to spend time with your loved ones. Plan to be there early since there is a huge waiting time. Enjoy your bottomless coffee !! Good customer service, superb menu and mimosaaaaaas !!Parking: Parking can be tight sometimes - I was a resident in the same property as Brekfast at Midtown. I would suggest finding a parking in the parking garage in the Meridian at Midtown property. The lower level is open for retail parking. The best bet would be parking across the street in Safeway which is like 0.1 mile awwy from Breakfast at Midtown.”
“This has become our favorite pizza place. We started going because it is close to our house. But we keep going because their pizza is so delicious. They have lots of TVs, if you want to watch sports. But it's very popular so can be crowded. We've found that their online ordering system is very good (if you do not try to do it on a popular pizza day, like the Superbowl). They have usually had the pizza ready right out of the oven at the time they list on the order. One area of improvement I'd like to see is to have them incorporate more local/California craft beers on tap. They have a fair selection of big names, but microbrewery beers would be great, too.”
“Fun, busy spot. Chilaquiles and benedict were delicious. Bloody Mary was great. It's busy but join the wait list online and it's not too bad at all. Super cute inside and on the patio.”

SJ Crawfish
“We got the combo with 2lb shrimp and 1lb clams with the house special sauce, rice, and cajun fries on the side. The price was right!! Significantly less expensive than Boiling Crab and Kickin Crab. The fries were great. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We loved the big chunky pieces of garlic in the house special sauce. We got medium spice cause I chickened out of trying the spicy level but I think next time I'll get the spicy level. The only thing I can say negatively is that they may want to cook the shrimp a bit less so that the shells don't stick when peeling. But over all, so so good!”
“This place is my family’s GO TO! We will take fast fresh over any other pizza place! They are hella quick and the pizza is so damn good! I love getting the pepperoni pizza, well done!! Highly recommended!!!”
“This place has become my Dads and I favorite place to have dinners when he visits. His favorite dish is the steak dish and I go back and forth from the garlic pepper beef and kimchi pepper beef, either one is amazing! The curry beef is also a really good option!”
“Love the concept here: order from a menu, then be seatedBy the time you get to your seat your salad is in place. Enjoy a cocktail from the bar while waiting in line to order. Their steaks are cooked over an open flame and have a delicious flavor. The portions are generous and the service friendly. Bonus points for catching a Sharks game on the patio.”

“A delightful locally owned coffee shop! The crepes are to die for; these were probably the best savory crepes I've ever had! I fully expect to dream about them tonight. The coffee was excellent as well, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and full of treasures and antique coffee grinders. Heartbeat Cafe is a must if you're in San Jose!”
“Stopped in Friday and the BBQ Chicken was great. The baked potato had sour cream a butter. The beans were very tasty. The price was great and so was the service. I'm going to come back and try the breakfast and might add a bloody Mary. Nice bartender.”
“Very good bakery with a wide of variety of cakes, macaroons, pasteries and danishes to choose from. I got some tiramisu and it was sooo delicious. Their ice cream macaroons are out of this world. They also make some really good tropical drinks made with sugar cane. You can preorder cakes for holidays and birthdays. The manager Van is really nice and she goes out of her way to make sure yiur order will be prrfect. You gotta check it out. If you go there once, you will be there at least twice.”
“We ordered, tandoori chicken chow mein and tandoori momo ?, one of the best chow mein we have had. Tandoori chicken was 6/10. Wait for tandoori momo was too long, apart from that everything was great.”

“They are not professional, our cake was late , the decor , Plastic flowers, designer did a horrible job . Very disappointed for a $ 1500.00 cake . Worst of all she didn’t deliver the cake .”
“The best Menudo I have had in the Bay, bar none. Not a fancy atmosphere or area but the menudo speaks for itself. You can eat the Menudo as is or with all the fixings they provide and it is FANTASTIC. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys menudo.”
“I stopped at T4 for a boba and Basil Chicken today and was very pleasantly surprised. The place was spotlessly clean and well run! There were 2 kids doing all the work but there was also an adult supervising everything. It was such a good experience! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!!”
“We wanted a home-style food. We ordered a catfish with sour soup, very tasty, nice vegetable textures. We ordered fried noodles, two kinds of egg roll, a kho with pork and rau mung(sp?). Service was nice, our friends enjoyed the selection.”
“Innovative yummy menu, awesome mural wall, lively bustle with the only downside being how loud the place is.Some acoustic foam on the ceiling to soften the noise might make it perfect.”
“Great experience set in a beautiful mansion. Had cocktails on the deck, dinner at the bar. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. I had the crab dip and the spicy salmon with wasabi crema, both were perfect. More wasabi crema next time.Kid-friendliness: I did see families dining and childrens food options on the menu”

“Every employee in Terra was friendly, had short chats with each one. Each was pleased to tell us what we asked about a specific veggie, fruit or dressing ingredients. Easy to see why each one has been a long time employee. Means management treats ALL well. Looking forward to return! Susan Barker”
“The featured fettuccine with Parmesan and truffle was fantastic, from the table side service to the last bite. Many thanks to our server for the recommendation. Antipasto plate to share for starters exquisitely assembled, and an excellent Valpolicello to accompany everything. We were gratified that the attentive staff was able to find a quiet table for us, too. We'll be back!”
“Food was good, service just right, and decor was good. Had the scallop and shrimp combo with baked potato and zucchini with a Fat Tire. Pricy but worth it. Decor was good at making it look like a restaurant with 100 year history even if it is brand new. Parked in mall parking and it cost $2 since I went beyond the 2h free period.”
“1st time at this particular Left Bank. The service was over the top good. Responsive, cheerful and patient. Quality food, though know that weekends have a brunch menu vs their normal lunch menu.”
“Spacious and clean restaurant that's tucked away. Went for happy hour. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday. Food was good and plenty. I'd come again to try other dishes!”
“This place is a vibe! Good music and good breakfast. I had the veggie quiche and that banana Chai awwww mah goodness it felt like a warm hug. I would stop by again. Was going to take it to go but glad I changed my mind and stayed for the ambiance.”
“My sister and I had a great experience up until there was a small miscommunication on leftovers to take home. They accidentally tossed my salad and our original waiter was off shift. Our new waiter, Eva, saved the day and offered a new salad to take home. Service like this is rare these days and I’d like to give Eva a huge kudos and thank you for handling our little hiccup like a rockstar.”
“Ordered a steak medium and it was well done, food didn't have much flavor to brag about, probably going to try somewhere else unfortunately. Like the place but for the price I'd expect better .”
“Black Angus used to be a staple pre CV. We went recently and our party was so happy about our steak meal and the Campfire Special for two. We know this is not a gouging, overinflated steak house, and we love that! We had filet mignon, and one was overcooked. The server made it right. The sides, dessert, and apps were .Bay area folks come out and support the last of American style steakhouse/cuisine. We are lacking choices of mid range steak and seafood houses.Vegetarian options: Get a salad, get sides like broccoli, potatoes , and such.Dietary restrictions: Yep!”
“The food and service was amazing, especially the pizookie ?. Our server, Alexis, was so sweet as well as the manager michael. Such a great first time experience and would definitely try again.”
“We enjoyed the relaxed, elegant atmosphere and the unhurried service. I had the brisket and my wife ordered the mixed grill. Both were quite good. The dessert menu was typical (chocolate lava cake, cheesecake, creme brûlée, gelato) and could use some more interesting items. Definitely recommended.”
“Simply wow!!Very authentic South Indian food, superb chutneys, fluffy idli, crispy vada and amazing filter coffee. They have automated the entire ordering and billing procedure. And service was outstanding. Very polite people, I felt like I was at home, in India :)”
“FIRST TIME! I always wanted to try halal guys ever since yeaaaars ago buzzfeed people did that YouTube video loooong time ago in NYC halal guys food review thing. I don't think it was in California at the time. Anyway, the food was so DELICIOUS! I had the chicken and beef plate. The amount of food was surprised me! They do not skimp out on the portions. I didn't know the plate was so big. You can definitely share for two. I have pictures of my different stages from opening it then dressing it then mixed all together then finished! It was like a journey of emotions and flavors. The meat was tender and every vegetable tasted fresh! I do have one downside that I did not like! It's a personal preference of mine but absolutely hate Taco Bell and all their foods. The lettuce and cheese in the halal guys food tasted EXACTLY like REPLICA of the lettuce and cheese taste from Taco Bell. People love Taco Bell so that's probs not a problem for you but Omgosh that tasted like Taco Bell lol I felt like I was eating Taco Bell Mixed all together though it was less Taco Bell tasting especially with the hot sauce and white sauce! OMG that hot sauce was so spicy lol like wow but so delicious. Also the pita bread? Is that pita bread? I don't know but that was also sooooo goood like it was soft and fluffy and paired so well with the food. I got the baklava and I was surprised it came in two pieces! I liked it! I am definitely trying the other dishes soon! Whoever manages this place is doing a good job. Everything is consistent and taste good! So happy I live close to y'all! I didn't even know we had one here lol”
“Beautiful restaurant with amazing food.Went here on a weekday and it was still packed. Good we had reservation. The food is exceptional and the service is cherry on top.We came here for our anniversary and every server that came to us, wished us.Also got champagne on the house and card. All in all very good experience. Will recommend.”
“The food is excellent customer service is very professional and polite and courteous the places very clean the only complaint I have they use too much fabuloso on the floor I suggest that they cut back a little bit to their pouring a little bit too much into their mop bucket bathroom is clean everybody's nice food is fantastic and it comes out of the kitchen right away no shortcuts here atmosphere really they have no control over who hangs out all they could do is call law enforcement but nowadays it seems like love enforcement is nonexistent or they have orders to stand down don't really 100% sure but it seems like it other than that food is great customer service is great prices are reasonable I would definitely make a stop they have two large television screens for sports if soccer is one of those definitely stop by here there is no shortage of noise when they're soccer being played”

“Food here was so good. My wife had a chicken shawarma and I had the lamb gyro plate. The chicken shawarma reminded us of the shawarma places from where we grew up and was so lovely. The lamb gyro was great and the meat was so tender. The owner of the place is this sweet lady named Shabana and she gave us such great service. She was so nice and even offered us some tea when we were done with our meal. This restaurant is part of the SJ downtown food hall and it's a really cool place to grab some food. Gotta go back and try some of the other stuff on the menu.”
“Ube coffee and peanut butter latte were delicious with homemade creams and authentic, strong Vietnamese coffee. Great rotating draft beer selection including humble sea and 450 north. Super friendly staff and lively atmosphere. Highly recommend checking out if you're in San Jose.”
“Awesome experience. Had food from Mercy Mediterranean and Luna’s Halal Taqueria and it was 5/5 good. The employees/manager checked up on our experience a few times and it was super nice. Definitely recommend!”
“Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and overall good vibes. The owner of the place, Rosemary is so friendly and welcoming. I strongly recommend to go and visit this place.”
“This Hawaiian bbq place is new to the area so we gave it a try last night. We had the large Kalua pork plate and the bbq chicken bowl and both were really good! The pork was really flavorful and tender and the bowl was a nice portion. I think the bowl just needed some kind of sauce on the side. It came out pretty fast as well. Just as good as L&L (possibly even better) and way easier to access. We will definitely eat here again!”
“We had the mummy shrimp entree and fish filet w/garlic sauce entree. The fish only came with one filet but I saw an earlier post that showed 2 filets which would better match the cost. Both were cooked perfectly. The fish was super moist and flavorful. Shrimp were good size. Maybe a hint too long in the fryer but still yummy. Sides of rice, crinkle fries, and salad were also delicious. They serve the best full flavored guacamole with the right amount of lime, salt and heat..not light and diluted like the ones at other places. And the Jamaica agua fresca is awesome. It was a very satisfying meal and service was great!”
“This place fills the void which South Indians feel in San JoseReally authentic food and lovely atmosphere. Really liked the dosa, Kizhi Parotta and the plantain Bajji when I last visited.”
“Went there for dinner last Friday. We had the all meat pizza and it did not disappoint. We even went back on Saturday to listen to a band. Everyone is extremely friendly and the only downfall is I hope that they offer more gluten free food for some people who are sensitive.”
“If you’re looking for a new spot to grab Pho in San Jose, look no further cause you’ll find Pho This Way. This new pho restaurant opened late last year and is located in Vietnam Town (IYKYK).Pho This Way offers a clean modern dining room with a menu that contains not only pho, but also finger foods, other Vietnamese noodles, and favorites like Shaken Beef (Bo Luc Lac).We visited on a Sunday before the lunch crowd and had ourselves a delicious feast. The broth was really good and the portion sizes were generous. The staff was very helpful in going over the menu with us. One item that we were absolutely glad we tried and would recommend to everyone is the Net Egg Roll, which was a perfectly crispy egg roll that you can wrap inside some lettuce and mint leaves before enjoying with the fish sauce.San Jose no doubt has a lot of pho restaurants, but this new spot definitely deserves a visit.- — ???? ?? ??????? — -∿Vietnamese Shaking Beef Macaroni∿Pho Dac Biet (Special Combination Pho)∿Net Egg Roll∿Papaya Salad∿Stir Fried Egg Noodle with Seafood∿Strawberry Panna Cotta & Mango Panna Cotta”
“After seeing so many Instagram posts about Sunright Tea Studio, I decided to finally try it out and I was happy knowing that there's a location in downtown SJ! I did not know that there was a location here until I checked Maps and thought that the next closest one to my location was in Sunnyvale and Milpitas. Just a heads up that because this location is in downtown, the parking is tough to find nearby. You most likely will have to walk a little bit to get to the shop! The place is really clean and bright. The ambiance of the store was bright and made me feel happy walking inside. There are two self-service Kiosks and if you need further assistance, a team member can help you out. There were so many drink options that I didn't know what to choose. You definitely get a lot more options here than most boba stores. There's your typical milk tea and fruit tea, and they also have slushies here too. I was overwhelmed by how many options there were, so I decided to order a strawberry matcha latte with honey boba. When waiting for my drink, I noticed that there wasn't a lot of seating available so I had to stand most of the time. I believe I waited about 10-15 minutes for my drink. I noticed that a team member ran out the door to tell a customer that they forgot 2 of their drinks, so I appreciate that the workers here care about the quality of service! Shoutout to whoever that was! The drink was perfect. It wasn't too sweet but wasn't diluted. You can definitely taste the strawberry and the matcha. I don't think it stood out though, since it's just matcha and you can get it anywhere. Overall, I think that Sunright Tea Studio is a decent boba shop with plenty of drinks to choose from. The only con about this location is the parking situation, but overall, the quality of the boba is fantastic. I would come back!”
“Bomb.com, the beef curry was perfect on a cold day. And the lady behind the counter was a pleasure to talk to. Generous portions on the beef curry. I did also come in simply because the name reminded me of Yami from Black Clover.”
“OMG! I must have passed by this place not knowing there's a secluded Vietnamese cafe tuck away right behind Carl's Jr. What caught my attention was the $11.99 lunch menu that I had to check it out came by this afternoon greeted by the owner and his wife/companion seated right away interior is quite spacious a great place to dine with a group of friends or family get together. What was good on the menu was the banh mi opla a Vietnamese breakfast sandwich consist of two baguette breads, three sunnyside eggs, three slices of Vietnamese ham (cha lua) as they refer to with veggies (cucumber, carrots and daikon) along with pate paste on the side and chili garlic sauce to go with it simply a great combination would definitely have it again for a mere $11.99 can't beat that. Next time I will have the banh xeo or commonly know as Vietnamese pancake. Server has been excellent no complaint she would come over and refill my glass if need be. My go to hopefully they will extend their lunch special highly recommend to my friends and co-workers.”
“The best sandwiches. The people working here are super nice and the place is really clean and uplifting. The Cubana is ridiculously good, as is everything else I've tried.”
“Great food for friends, a date night, or family. The chef is an artist who pays close attention to all details and the mixologist creatively infuses creations as well. The staff take good care of the guests. Whether seated downstairs or catching a view from upstairs, a positive experience, all around! We had the Blood Orange Margarita, Mangonada, Wine, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Brussels, 24/7 Carnitas, Guacamole, Crudo, Churro with Cinnamon and Chocolate. Next time…we will do the flights!”
“If you're trying to get the best aguachiles in the whole Bay Area, this is the best spot to get them. The attention and customer service is absolutely unmatched. Pepe the owner invited us to try their fresh "Callo de hacha" and made a molcajete filled with Shrimp, octopus, and some delicious and spicy chiltepin. Check them out.”
