The BEST crawfish joint in San Jose hands down. Their sauces are flavorful, creamy, and always consistent. Kickin Crab, Clawshack, and Boiling Crab’s quality has drastically decreased over the years, leaving it pretty hard to find a decent seafood boil. Cajun Bistro never disappoints! It’s a little further from me than I’d like but it is worth the drive 100%

Great place for sharing a meal with many friends. We ordered garlic noodle with shaken beef, combination seafood fried rice, fried crispy tilapia with fries, fried calamari, corn, sweet potato fries, 1# shrimp each with different flavor: Louisiana, California, garlic. The meal was tasty. You csn request mild sauce on shrimp and get sides of hot sauce. Service was efficient and friendly.

Definitely a hole in the wall food spot!!! When you enter the store, you are instantly greeted and are gestured to sit down at a table. I’ve been here multiple times and each time, service has been quick and food has been consistent with quality. This food spot is a casual, Vietnamese comfort Cajun spot that has a variety of Vietnamese food along with Cajun seafood. The sauce you have to get here is the Original Louisiana sauce! On this visit, we ordered the Garlic Noodles with extra garlic and 3LB Combo with Shrimp, Clams, Crawfish, 2 pieces of corn, 2 pieces of potatoes, and 4 pieces of sausages all mixed with the Original Louisiana sauce. The sauce tastes creamy, buttery and mixes really well with the seafood. You can tell it was cooked fresh when ordered.Garlic noodles were good. I always like to add the Original Louisiana sauce onto the garlic noodles and eat it with the seafood. Regular garlic noodles are good here but if you love garlic, I would recommend ordering it with extra garlic.Gloves are provided to use if you don’t want to use your bare hands to open the seafood.Parking: This plaza is usually crowded so sometimes can be a bit hard to find parking.

I may have not taken any photos, but believe me when I say this place has the best Boiling Crab/Shrimp in San Jose.I've tried different boiling crab spots and this one is top tier. It's a hole in the wall with some of the best and most efficient service. The seasoning was delicious and wasn't overly salty. I also noticed that they had some of the freshest seafood! Definitely a staple in East San Jose, highly recommend! Try: the garlic bread

I can't believe it took me this long to try this place. Not the cleanest but it's decent especially for a hidden gem. I ordered the 3-lb combo and garlic noodles and was blown away by the food. The seafood was super fresh and the shrimp were HUGE! I ordered medium spicy and it wasn't spicy at all.The owner confirmed himself that this place is INDEED open 'till 4am, so I'll definitely be coming back for late night eats.

A solid 4.5 star for food. Rounded up for opening late till 4am. Came here on a Thursday night after gym.The owner is very nice and very attentive. Food- the flavor is so good. I got the spicy Louisiana shrimp and garlic noodle, both of them are beyond my expectation for a hole in the wall type of joint that opens this late. The only thing is that I wish the shrimp is a bit easier to peel. I know sometimes the freshness affects how easy the shell comes off, it was quite hard to separate completely the shell and the meat, but oh well some calcium won't hurt it's good for you!I'd come again and get their bun rieu, was really contemplating if I should just get the bun rieu and 1 lb of boil, but that would be too much food for one person. Haha next time tho, will def try their bun rieu.

Very quaint small location but they have optimized seating inside. Went there on a Saturday night around 6pm and they were able to seat our party of 8! Staff was nice and gave us recommendations when asked. The garlic noodles is a must try!! Texture of noodles tasted like they were cooked perfectly. Garlicky goodness. We also got a 3lb and 4lb combo with 1lb each of crawfish, shrimp, mussels, and clams (all they offer). The mild versions of the sweet California and Louisiana tasted similar. It looked like there was a mayo/creamy sauce in both flavors. Mild is perfect for people who don't like spice but I would get it spicier next time; however, still delicious! For spice lovers: I would recommend ordering extra sauce ($3) extra spicy for dipping. Limes and salt/pepper mixtures are complimentary. Squeeze the lime into the salt container, pour some of the extra sauce in there, and you have bomb.com dipping sauce.

This place is such a great change up than their competitors around the area. If you like more of a home vibe with just a small group of friends and family with a nice Cajun meal, I’d come here. Their Cajun spice could use a little tweak but over all I still enjoy what you get here. We got the 2lbs of shrimp, a couple sausages, and some potatoes and it was mighty fine! Their other flavors are solid too if you’re more of a lemon pepper person. The owner and his wife are so adorable and humble and just want to take care of their customers. Thank you for taking care of my sister and I we’ll definitely be back! God bless ??

This was a really nice mom and pop shop. I don't eat seafood so my group shared the crawfish and mussels while I got the garlic noodles and shaken beef. We also ordered a side of french fries. The fries were just okay, no seasoning and not worth the $6. My group really enjoyed the seafood boil. My shaken beef dish was delicious! The garlic noodles were super flavorful, beef was well seasoned and extremely tender. It was an extremely generous portion as well. Service was nice, and the food came out quickly. I would definitely come back!

They say the dirtier the Asian restaurant, the better the food, and Cajun Bistro 7 definitely lives up to that stereotype LOL If you want what's claimed to be the BEST bun rieu (crab and tomato noodle soup) in town, definitely check them out. I was so impressed with how my bowl was loaded with crab meatballs, fried tofu, cha Lau, and noodles. The soup and seafood weren't fishy at all (which I really appreciated), and I loved how you could really taste the natural sweetness of the seafood and the tomato in the broth. Cleanliness was much to be desired, with sticky chairs, lots of flies, and the faint smell of seafood due to this spot also selling seafood boil. Utensils were also dirty and sticky, but I'm willing to tolerate this or get takeout for my bun rieu fix in the future!

Wow, bun rieu surprised me and the lemon grass wings was extra crispy?

Grabbed take out here the other day. I came in and placed my order, then went to Target to pick up some items, came back and my order was already done! I usually do the 3 or 4 lbs combo, mix of fish and crawfish. The Louisiana is my favorite sauce here. Cajun bistro always has the biggest shrimp and crawfish around. For their sides I recommend the garlic noodles. I have. Tried their noodles here, but I hear they're really good as well.
