TLDR: pretty good BBH! Would definitely recommend to friends and come again. We usually go to Hue for BBH, but we decided to give this newer (?) restaurant a shot. We don't live in SJ anymore, so this was a new place for us at least. Inside is clean and small. The wait staff was chill. So the food. It's good. My fiancee and I both ordered the BBH, mine just had the oxtail in it. We also got the #1 appetizer (I forgot what it's called). The soup itself is what you would expect...read full review

The service was excellent. It's clean and bright inside, not dark like Hue across the street. Staff was very tentative and helpful in explaining difference between appetizers. Bun bo comparable to Hue, but it is far less crowded and therefore, has better customer service. Food was good. Would come back.

I'm a big fan of Bun Bo Hue , it's so good . Btw i also falling in love with Banh Beo and Banh Xeo it's was delicious. Fast service and clean . 10/10 would recommend coming and trying it out!!!!
