I have been coming here since I was younger, they even used to have a buffet option. The food is always amazing and the service is great! They are always happy to make any special requests happen and the wait is never too crazy. I prefer to dine in when I eat here because the restaurant definitely makes you feel like you are truly experiencing Indian cuisine, the way you should. I love this place!

I have been 25 years customer to this place. But customer service and food have gotten horrible recently. Today my husband picked up saag and maki ki roti for me, when I opened it, only received 1 Maki roti, and it's supposed to be 2. I called and talked to tanvi and she said regular price is $15.00, so I asked if they gave us 1 roti instead of 2, how much did they charge us. She said because your husband said 1 saag and 1 roti, and so we have to charge it saprate not as combo and so they still charged us $15.00. I told her, he didn't know the difference in how to order but we wanted the regular order of saag and Maki ki roti which we always get every weekend and it always comes with 2 Maki ki rotis. She did not provide any customer service, she did not offer to give the other roti for next time we come. She was persistent on charging us with full price for 1 Maki ki roti just because my husband didn't know how to order it and he ordered it "separately". When I asked to speak with the manager she said he is not here. Nicely flushed 25 year old customer down the drain! Let me tell you, I'm 36 now. I've been ordering milai kofta every week from this place since I used to be in high school! And it used to be delicious! But from past few years I have stopped ordering my favorite dish and had to switch to saag and Maki ki roti because any sabji with creamy gravy has gone done the drain here. They don't pit enough cream in it like they used to and it's all watered down. Why would anyone pay for a sabji like that? And after this experience I don't think I have anything else to order from them. P.S. the naans are burned/black/chared every time we get them. Quantity is so little. Loved getting onion pakoras from here, but now they barely give 6 to 7 peices of pakoras and charge you $9.00 plus tax for that! And the sauce containers have gotten so small, if you ask for another 1, they don't give it to you without charging extra! If you order chole bhature, best of luck! Because the sabji container to sooooo small and finishes easily with just 1 bhatura and you will have to eat the 2nd one dry!.

I may not be an expert on what is authentic Indian food but we stopped for pickup here on our way through San Jose and got Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani with naan. The order was ready at least five minutes early and the food was perfect, served two adults and a toddler twice. The people were very nice and the food was delicious

Really delicious food and friendlyservice. There is a parking lot in the Front so no issues with parking. When you walk in there are plenty of tables andchairs. We went as a big group and wehad no issues finding a place to sitdespite the large lunch crowd. Weordered samosas, chaat, butter chicken, garlic naan, lamb curry, chili chicken Everything was sogood. Great portions, nothing was overlyspicy, and prices were fine for theamount I got. And they have a best sweets too.

I would really give a 0 star if there was a option or may be negative. Recently I ordered veg biryani and chicken biryani from this place and I should say this was the worst of the worst biryani i ever had in my whole life, and i fell sick for 2 days after having that. Its like the rice dipped in lots of tomato gravy and some hard chicken pieces.

I had a rather disappointing experience at the "Jewel of India" recently. I ordered a Jalebi and it was far from fresh. In fact, it had a sour taste and seemed old. The overall quality of the jalebi was far below expectations. I hope the restaurant can take steps to ensure better quality and freshness in their dishes to provide a more enjoyable dining experience..

Again I called at 8:43pm and was told they close at 9. I rushed over and got there five minutes before that. They knew I was coming and they still closed early and left. Absolutely ridiculous.
