We wanted a home-style food. We ordered a catfish with sour soup, very tasty, nice vegetable textures. We ordered fried noodles, two kinds of egg roll, a kho with pork and rau mung(sp?). Service was nice, our friends enjoyed the selection.
We had a good overall experience at Nem for dinner. I was excited to try the seafood dishes but two of them (whelk and razor clam) were overcooked and rubbery. Not a good experience, especially having tried the same dishes at other local restaurants and in Vietnam.The clams with the Nem special sauce were great though. We also enjoyed the braised catfish (ca kho) which also had small pieces of pork belly. Yum. The canh chua soup and veggies were good, but the fish was a bit overcooked...read full review
