A nice small ramen bar. Perfect for friends or family 2-4 people. Order upfront, and then seated. Fast and friendly service. GREAT food, the appetizers and ramen ? Tonkotsu and spicy miso tonkotsu hits the spot.

I had the classic Tonkotsu, the really standout aspect of it was the broth. I personally don't know what is "traditional" but I know that if the broth is not creamy enough or so creamy that it tastes like milk, it absolutely ruins it (for me). The balance of the broth here was excellent, it really brought out the flavor of the pork and the texture of the noodles and bamboo shoots. They also have a variety of Japanese beers and other beverages. The service was excellent and the environment is really beautiful, a very comfortable vibe. There are not that many tables, but I was seated right away.

Whenever I want ramen, I come here. There isn't much option to choose but it has what I want ! That's all I need ! Price ranges 13.95 to 18.95

Their tonkotsu ramen is bomb. I am a type of person who drinks the broth first before I start fishing for noodles and other toppings. The broth is very deep in taste, and it wowed me. Good job Ramen One R1. Will definitely return.

Stumbled into this restaurant because the curry restaurant next door wasn't doing dine in services. Lucky me that I got to discover this place.Has all the stables of a mid cost restaurant; fast service, rational prices, kind servers.

The perfect sunday dinner with friends! - The restaurant is small, clean, and cozy. - Pay/order before you get seated at your table. - Not ideal for large groups. We got there at 5:30 pm and there was no line/wait. Definitely got busy when we left. - Parking is a little bit tricky, smaller lot, - Homeless wondering around, read other reviews about breakins... I appreciated their smaller and concise menu. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our ramens were a great size, filled with flavor, and tons of noodles. Meat portions could have been larger. This place is a little pricey for ramen, but my whole group enjoyed their food! We tried the - miso tonkotsu (5/5 stars) perfect amount of creamy richness! Not overly salty. - spicy miso tonkotsu (5/5 stars) has a good amount of heat and flavor. The corn is a great touch! - orginal curry (4/5 stars) could have more veggies, but a nice home cooked cury - Sunflower Amabuki saki was so delicious! Very easy to drink Their ramon eggs are phenomena, order extra! Definitely worth trying! :)

Their Tonkotsu Ramen is killin'. The pork bone broth tastes flavorable and just two thumbs up! I'd totally recommend everyone to stop by and try this out.

We just ate here and everything was excellent. The tonkotsu ramen broth was so flavorful, and they give you a good amount of meat. The chicken in the curry was moist with the perfect crisp. The vegetable miso soup was packed with umami. Even the stuffing in the gyoza was seasoned really well. You can tell they take the time to make sure their food is cooked well with the best ingredients.

I love this restaurant. I've probably eaten here or ordered to go over 50 times since they have opened. Service is always amazing and obviously, the workers recognize me. I've eaten at so many ramen restaurants in the Bay Area (all overrated) but the curry ramen at Ramen One was clearly the best ramen dish around. I invited friends and coworkers to eat it with me and always hoped my family and friends from out of town could try it. Don't get me wrong, the chashu rice bowls, curry plates, and other ramen dishes are good but they don't quite stand out like the curry ramen. I am no longer a regular because curry ramen isn't on the menu anymore but I still like to visit occasionally to support this business. I'll give four stars for now and pray that my favorite dish will make a return and they'll see their sales go back up!

Stopped by around 7pm on a weekday evening. The restaurant had a few parties seated already but there were still at least 4 open tables. Immediately upon entering, you can order your food at the front counter. They have menus pasted on the exterior windows as well as at the order counter for your reference. The cashier was nice. Once we completed our order and paid, he told us our table number to go to. My takoyaki order (6 balls for $6) was pretty quick to come out first - maybe 5-10 mins after we sat down. I waited a few minutes before eating since we were waiting on other food. The exterior wasn't as crunchy, but overall was soft and nicely chewy. The sauces and toppings on top added nice flavor. The octopus (tako) bits inside were decently sized. The ratio was a bit heavy on the batter though, so it would've been nice to have a bit more filling. I was satisfied with the dish as a whole though. My chasu don (mini for $7) was tasty. It was a small bowl of rice topped with juicy chopped chasu meat, with a plop of mayo for dipping, green onions, and sesame seeds as garnish. The chasu was tender and flavorful. It paired well with the mayo and rice. Great to get if you're not feeling ravenously hungry. The rest of my companions got ramen and enjoyed their bowls. The bowls were big and had a nice portion of noodles, soup, meat, and toppings. The prices are good for the quality and quantity of food you get. I'd come back again so that I can personally try out the ramen next time too.

Nothing special , broth was ok. Pork was very bland, sloppy and not cut well, upsetting really. Noodles were not enjoyable. Overpriced for a below average bowl of Ramen. I came here on an empty stomach , practically starving and it still tasted below average. Speaks volumes about this ramen. I would suggest revisiting the drawing board and adding some passion back into the process of making Ramen.

Stopped by with friends for dinner after a long day of preparing for a big show. Our party was quite big and wanted to try a new place for dinner and we were craving ramen. The place is super small and comfortable for a casual lunch/dinner spot. It's probably not best to bring in a ton of people since it has a super small seating area. The waiting time was a bit longer for our party since they had to make room for us. Also depending on the time of day you come, I'm sure it's also busy. We also had a couple of people in front of us. The place was very welcoming and had a very nice atmosphere. The service was pleasant and the person who was running the front was accommodating for our group. Our group had many questions when we came in and before we left, but she was very patient and concise. The bathroom is just slightly dark since the lighting is dim. For the most part the whole place is sanitary. I just wish the bathroom had slightly more light because it was hard to see. The food was very nice and was not bad for its price. Our table got a couple of items but the dishes I got was the tonkatsu ramen and takoyaki. The appetizer was very tasty and flavorful. I couldn't help myself but dig in with my friend on the takoyaki before I took the picture, so there was 4 instead of 6. As for the ramen, it was very rich and not overly salty. I enjoyed the richness and balance. For the price, it had a good portion of everything. It's definitely one of my new favorite places for ramen! Will come back again or order take out! ()
