The most un-authentic persian food.We have been invited to this resturant for a family gathering and it turned out a complete dissapoitment.Kebabs had stale taste and not good at all.Stews were ok but taste very basic and not resturant quality.

Ordered different kinds of kebabs for dinner on a Friday evening. The food was not fresh at all. The kebabs were made a few hours earlier and warmed up before serving. The server did not check on the table even once after we ordered the food. Overall, it's a mistake to waste your money and time there especially if you're a tourist with a limited time.

I got the Vakil Abad-Mashad Stone Stew. Brand new domain of Persian cuisine I've never explored, and it was good. Pretty good kashke bademjan too, plus you get a lot of bread with your meal; comes in handy with the soup.

They refused to serve us because we have a service dog. That is completely illegal and even though I explained to them that Service animals must be allowed inside stores and restaurants, they still didn’t let us

Authentic Iranian food. Quality is what you'd get in Iran. The tahdig+ghormeh is top notch.

I decided to hold my Mom's celebration of life according to the Iranian tradition at the Stone Stew restaurant. I talked with the owner, Naseem. She promised to create an ambiance worthy of my Mom and she did not disappoint! The food, service and attention to details were top notch. I didn't have to do anything; the package she offered contained all the food items that our tradition required. I'd like to thank Naseem for the wonderful work she and her team did to celebrate my Mom's life!

The STONE STEW RESTAURANT is a Persian restaurant. Most Persian foods are Gluten Free and the food is very healthy and taste great. We ordered food to go and my husband went and picked it up so I can't comment on the ambiance. The food however is good. We ordered 3 menu items. 1. Tehran Majlesi Chicken $21.99 - aka Zereshk polo with 2 chicken thighs. It was prepared well and good portion size, 2. Isfahan Koobideh Kabob with Rice $19.99 - it comes with 2 koobideh kabobs, rice and grilled tomato - tasted good and good portion size, 3. Gorgan Chicken & Koobideh Kabob with Rice $25.99 - It comes with one skewer of chicken kabob (I opted for chicken breast or you can choose the thigh) and one skewer of koobideh (which is ground beef kabob) with rice and grilled tomato. The food was good and generous portions, we had plenty left over for lunch for the next day. All items ordered were GF. The take out service was friendly with no issues. We will definitely order to pick up from here again in the future.

3 & 1/2 stars rounded to a 4. Stone Stew Grill & Bar is in the building that used to be a Tony Roma's back in the day; they have been here for six years, but we just tried it for the first time. It was a mixed bag for me. The service was excellent, and my husband enjoyed his food, but I was disappointed with my entree. The bread they gave us was tasty with butter. They included mint and unions, which my husband added to the bread. He ordered one of the Persian stews, Shahsavar Ghormeh Sabzi with Meat, and he enjoyed it. I ordered a chicken kebab with thigh meat. It came with rice and a roasted tomato. Well, I enjoyed the tomato, but unfortunately, the chicken was dry & overcooked, and both the chicken & rice tasted overly salty to me. I tasted my husband's stew and did not care for the flavor. However, maybe I will return one day to try another of their stews.
