Very local fish and chips spot near the light rail station and the convention center. Amazing customer service!! He was nice enough to refill my water bottle when we ate there. The fish was good but just a tad greasy. If it was slightly less greasy it would be perfect! I loved the tartar sauce it came with.
I was in the mood for what they were selling, so I went for it. I had to wait a while for them to fry the fish, but it was worth the trouble. It's mainly a fish and chips ? place in downtown San Jose. Can't go wrong if you like seafood.

Don't be fooled by the lack of luster this restaurant has, because the food and service here 5/5. Immediately when we entered we were greeted and directed on how to order. We decided to go with the small clam chowder and three piece fish chips. We assumed the fried fish would be regular sizes. Nope, they were three big hefty thick meaty fillets, stunned! Had I known the size we would have stuck with two pieces. Overall did not regret the decision since we enjoyed the leftovers....read full review
