They have vegan options: Dole whip, and a flavor of regular ice cream they switch out on occasion as well. This place has been around forever. The quality remains the same which is good, and the type you want in a small town. No bullies, just kind staff and happy people all coming in for treats. Fair prices, and the option to split scoops too!
Great little ice cream stop with Lapert's ice cream. Customized a shake with their date ice cream. Not quite likePalm Springs but definitely hit the spot after visiting the Mission.

Was walking around a downtown fair and saw a sign for pineapple dole whip, couldn't pass that up. Inside I learned that they also have pomegranate whip so I'll have to go back. The shop was extremely crowded with bodies but the wonderful employee saw me right away and had a big cone in my hand at the cash register within 2 minutes. The icing on top of a quaint afternoon in San Juan Bautista.
