The food is great. I ordered the "chicken combo" for $11.58. The meal was ample enough for 2 people. Today, no apple pay and only cash. Also, no eating inside, only take-out! None of these bothered me because I had planned to "take-out " and had cash on hand.

I'm surprised I have not yelped this place yet. I've been going here since junior year of high school and I'll be thirty this year. The food has progressively decreased in flavor otherwise this would be a 5 star all the way. When I first started going here back in 2010ish the food was amazing!!!! I would go at least a few times a week. The prices were amazing $10 a plate for the Hawaiian bbq mix. Alohana 2010 gets a 5 star. Alohana 2023 is a 3 star. Feels like the food lacks enough seasoning but the char on the meats is still pretty good and prices are reasonable for the times. I don't go as much since I moved away but still one of my favorites when I'm in the area. It's a hit or miss some days but I still like to try it out.

They have one thing I really love here, and that's there Volcano Chicken. Way better than any other chicken katsu I've had. Must try.

Stay away from this place. If I can give 0 stars would!!! They screwed up my order. I specifically asked for NO SAUCE in my Spam musubi, she repeated my order twice (saying yes no sauce). I picked it up and there was sauce! We kindly asked her to remake it and she served us the SAME exact messed up musubi but just scraped off whatever was on the Spam!! What the hell? So you already know they're shady! Not cool. These idiots don't understand and are UNPROFESSIONAL. I mean how much does Spam really cost? (And they charged me over $12) come on!! She also looked upset and didn't want to remake it a third time. It was their mistake to begin with!! No apology or anything! What a total b***** Bad business. Please stay far away from this place!! You've been warned. If they make a mistake they will NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!! Never again!!

The malasadas was raw on the inside. Not edible. Threw it away. No refund given (?) Like I am supposed to accept the quality of their food regardless.
Stopped by to get some lunch. Upon entering, you are quickly stopped because they fashion a barrier out of chairs. You can only place togo orders. The person who took my order was nice and cordial. I ordered the Spam Musubi and Green Tea Smoothie. I was able to pay with Apple Pay. The musubi tasted good; however, I would have liked the spam better if it was thicker. The Green Tea Smoothie hit the spot on this very warm day. It was creamy and tasted good.

My review is my 2 most recent visit. 1st visit no complaints I order the same stuff both times. No complaints about taste. My main issue was the amount they charge for their platters& amount I received. 2 entrees an app, xtra Mac $55-ish. The second time ordering same minus an app. My total was over $45-ish. The amount of food was a lot less than the first time. I think we were served 1/2 the food we should have received. I understand inflation but the bbq combo mix, 1 pcs bbq beef, 1pcs chicken, 1 pcs 2 ribs thin cut short ribs. I try to buy local, but I can't go back to paying this much for the amount of food.

The food was terrible. The chicken was stale and undercooked . The flavor on all the food was awful. The chicken looked like it had been sitting for days . I would not recommend coming here unless you are trying to get sick. The katsu sauce was in chunks not even fully liquid . Worst hawiann food ever . Im in the hospital right now because of This food. I dont have time to time to tarnish a buissness but this is unhealthy for everyone and dont want no one getting sick at all.

Usually I don't order a burger, but I did order the BBQ Beef burger this time. This is not a burger??? It's literally a thin slice of steak?? How did they think it'd be ok to pass this as a burger.
