“I came to get the fried ice cream, it’s still online and posted on their signs. I waited a while before I tried ordering the fried ice cream, once I did they said they don’t serve that anymore. Just a thought, cross it off your menu that’s all I wanted didn’t order for myself just my kids. They liked it. Not a bad place just disappointed that I had to wait to order to be told they weren’t serving that item anymore. Other than that again not a bad place.“

“I cannot believe I never knew about this cafe when I lived nearby. Just discovered it today and will definitely be back! The BLT and Chipotle Chicken sandwiches were delicious & filling - generous portions of crispy bacon, lots of spring mix to be healthy and the French bread was beautifully warm and toasted. Limonada mineral just like we had in Mexico, and the Cafe de olla is a must try! The ladies were super sweet and gave us a sample of their chia pudding which was also delicious and I’ll be ordering a bowl for breakfast next time I come. This place is easy to miss as it doesn’t look like much from the front and the interior is small, but then there is a nice back patio with about 10 tables of various sizes including a huge communal table that can seat about ten people. “Not only does the owner, Jerry, make a mean sandwich, but he's also incredibly kind & generous. He makes his customers immediately feel part of the warm community he's created. The physical cafe isn't particularly cozy, but Jerry & his friendly staff are all the ambience you need!Vegetarian options: Veggie panini is DELICIOUS! Even my meat-adoring husband wanted my sandwich.Parking: Although it's a very busy area, I found metered parking a few feet from the door both times I visited.“

“Such a great neighborhood spot in a easy to find location. I must say that the prices are quite reasonable considering how everything is fresh and prepared to order. The entry area is handicapped accessible however parking might be a challenge depending on when you go. FYI there's always parking just across the street in the Walgreen's strip mall.“

“Small smoothie/juice shop Located in the Hayward hills. We come here all the time since we live close by and it never disappoints. Workers are friendly and helpful. It can take about 10-15 min to get your drink (depending on crowds, how many workers). Everything tastes fresh. I always get the #1.. strawberry smoothie.. my husband always tries something new. And has never complained about a single one. Definitely worth the drive up the hill if you want something other than your typical Jamba Juice.“

“Stopped in to order take out after passing this place daily. The place is no frills but clean. I ordered the Shawarma time salad. The menu doesn't have a description of the salad but it's cucumber, tomato, radish, onion and cabbage with lots of sumac, then covered in chicken and beef shawarma. It was great. I was starving so I got the large salad. They didn't skimp on the protein. It's great to have a healthy lunch option in the area. I'll be back to try the plates and wraps!“

“I cannot recommend this place enough! Sheniece was very welcoming and really listened to me when I mentioned I needed something to balance out my body. She recommended the Alkalife (which was the drink of the month so it was discounted! Win-win!) Like most green drinks you can taste the veggies but the other ingredients really made it enjoyable to drink! I also got the avocado toast! IT WAS THE BEST AVOCADO TOAST IVE EVER HAD! The spread they use and the avocado to bread to toppings ratio was spot on! I will be coming back! YUMMMMM!“

“We tried their brunch menu and was not disappointed. We ordered from the most friendly staff at the window the Andouille Shrimp and Grits which had creamy cheddar grits, the breakfast sandwich with home style fried potatoes, Banana Bread Louise which is banana bread french toast with Bananas Foster topping and a Grains in Purgatory bowl which had farrow. Roasted vegetables and two sunny side up eggs topped with chili crisp. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the Grains in Purgatory was considering it was mostly vegetarian except for the eggs. It has the right amount of spice and the farrow had a nice bite. The breakfast sandwich had scrambled egg and thickly sliced bacon and arugula, the home fries that came on the side were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Those potatoes were the bomb! The gravy on the shrimp and grits was a little too salty for me but those creamy cheddar grits were so rich and smooth. Get the Banana Bread Louise to share for dessert! It's amazing! I look forward to trying items on their lunch menu especially the jerk salmon“

“Visited today with my wife.. I got the DragonFruit bowl and she got Green ivory I believe and we both absolutely love it!! Definitely recommend whenever we make it back to Oakland we will definitely stop back in!! Customer service was fantastic person inside was very helpful and super nice!“

“Mad at myself for taking me so long to realize there's such a great juice/smoothie place in San Leandro. I got the Blue Ocean and the texture is perfect. A good balance of solids and liquid. I could taste each ingredients that's in it. Now I have to try all of their other flavors.“

“This was so good!! I got the banh mi and the sauce is to die for! I really like the bread they used too. So much flavor packed into the whole sandwich. My son got the incredibowl and I tried a bite. Super fresh and yummy. He loves chia pudding that we make at home but now he’s begging me to recreate this bowl lol. We will definitely be back to try some more food. The service was superb too. However, I cannot tell the difference between the chicken and the pork since they're both shredded with sauce lol. One is green sauce and one is red sauce. “Stumbled across Delightful Foods in San Francisco this weekend at Clement Streets Farmers Market & the owner was passing out samples of their top selling pies 1) sweet potato 2) apple 3) key lime & 4) lemon cheese. I bought 3 pies & OMG the lemon cheese is soooo good like something you'd taste in a Michelin rated restaurant & the sweet potato pie is also very very good I should've bought more perfectly sized & priced but more so the delicious fresh taste! My daughter knew exactly who I was talking about as she also had their sweet potato pie at a few street fairs in Oakland. Definitely look out for them at upcoming street fairs near you!“

The waffles are pretty good but other locations have expanded their menus to add savory snacks. I wonder when this franchise will add some because I can't wait to try.
