Whenever I'm on a road trip I always make sure to stop here. It's just a fun, unique place! The owners clearly love pink! You can see it from the freeway. When you walk in it's like a time warp from the 80's and has that old school diner charm. I have only eaten the breakfast here. I thought it was good. My whole party liked what we ordered. I also make sure to stop at the bakery every time I drive by. The cakes are delicious!! And the prices for these huge masterpieces are amazing! I love the pink champagne cakes and the Black Forest. I still have not been able to get my hands on the carrot cake yet. I hope one of these times. I heard it's delicious. Whenever I stop I always make sure to walk through the entire place. It's just so unique that you want to explore. And I love going to visit all the gift shops. There are a lot and some you have to search to find. Same with the restrooms. I suggest checking them out. They are all unique as well. Completely different just like the rooms of you stay for a night or two. If I did stay it would probably be a one night thing just for the experience. There doesn't seem like much to do on the outskirts of the premises. I just want to stay in one of the cave like rooms and then be able to experience one of their dinners in the grand pink room! I highly Recommend just stopping once at least to see the uniqueness of this property. And you have to buy one of their cool colorful goblets to take home! I buy a set every time!

Very iconic, very pink, very popular. Arrived at 11:00, not seated until 11:45 (our name was placed in a waitlist and we got a text, so at least we could wander and see the vast grounds with the green rolling hills all around. Loved the multicolor glass goblets, the mismatched Tiffany style lamps, the bathrooms with individual stalls with floor to ceiling doors. All the staff we interacted with were wonderful--Milo at the check-in counter, Steven our server who had great enthusiastic energy, and Ray at the bakery counter. Our coffee and water were frequently offered/replenished. The long wait for our food was made better by Steven's acknowledgement and thanking us for our patience. The main dishes themselves were not impressive, a lackluster burger, a bland tuna melt, and an over watery turkey broccoli omelette. The side dishes were delicious--the fries and the fresh fruit and the sourdough toast with berry jam! I also bought lemon coconut cookies at the bakery which were scrumptious and chewy, as well as two pretty pink Napolitans to bring home to friends. Overall, so glad we came to experience this place! The fun decor and service were top notch and made up for the overpriced mediocre food.

What we experienced today could have totally gone wrong for someone who is terribly allergic to gluten. The manager was really busy and I didn't want to wait to speak to him about what happened. He should be aware of the below because someone could get really sick. I asked the server "what sauce is the Gluten Free Ravioli served with". She went on to give me the options to which I then ordered the "Marinara and Alfredo half and half". I also ordered it with a side salad with Roquefort dressing which she explained was Blue Cheese and homemade. My son wanted French Toast but being that it was after 12, the server said that they couldn't serve French Toast or Pancakes after 11 am but could serve Waffles though they were off the regular menu and not the kids menu. That was fine and we appreciated she let us know before ordering. My husband ordered the Corned Beef Hash. My side salad came out first. Then the Waffles and Corned Beef Hash with a biscuit arrived. After a few minutes, my Raviolis with Broccoli arrived. Everything tasted great. The Corned Beef Hash had great flavor and texture. The Waffles were fluffy. My side salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious and the ravioli wrapper had a good springyness. We decided to order dessert and I asked the server if they had gluten free options to which she said no, everything was gluten full. That was fine until I responded with, "oh, the only thing you have gluten free is the raviolis?" She said "yes, we have that option." This made me wonder so I asked if my raviolis were gluten free and she said no, and that they would have been had I asked for them to be gluten free. WTF? Your menu ONLY had GLUTEN FREE Raviolis listed and I asked about the Gluten Free Raviolis and what sauce options they came with so how did you not know I wanted Gluten Free? She didn't apologize for the misunderstanding and at the time, I was left without words for the situation because I was worried about my reaction to the gluten. She really should have asked if I was ok because it is common knowledge that some people have a severe reaction to gluten. My son really wanted dessert so even though they didn't have any gluten free options, we decided to stay. He asked the server for some recommendations and she said everything was good. He said he was thinking about the Raspberry Delight and she said it was not as sweet which made my son super excited. Given that my son has Type 1 diabetes, we decided to go with the Raspberry Delight so he could have dessert with less sugar. When the dessert arrived, he was wide eyed with how big the slice was. He loved the bites he was able to have. Then the bill came and my husband charged his card. He then asked me if I knew the cake was $27. I said no, it was $13.95 so then we rechecked the bill to see we were charged for two slices of cake. We pointed this out to the server and she asked the manager to fix the bill and refund our charges and charge us again. This could have been an accidental charge but I was already unhappy with our server over the gluten free incident AND she didn't realize it was a big deal AND didn't apologize. On the other hand, I was here a few months ago for just the bar on a Friday evening and had a great time. The bartenders were wonderful and the drinks were tasty. We also got to see a live and dance on the dance floor. It was a fun night. I hate to give the restaurant a bad review but the mess up today was not good especially since the server didn't acknowledge the oversight of the gluten.

The reviews looked good and checked it out based on kitschy atmosphere photos. Cute place and friendly staff but...just gross. Place felt grimy and the salad looked like it came from an expired salad kit. My vinaigrette had stuff floating in it. We politely declined to wait for the rest of the order. Glad we decided to leave and go downtown for a satisfying meal.

Great stop off 101 for a quick bite. It's a classic dinner breakfast joint. While the prices are a bit high it was the charm of the place that hooks you in. I love that the servers walk around and constant refill your coffee. The food was hot and plentiful!!!

Such a classic staples and establishment! We've been coming here for years and they continue to wow us with their hospitality, ambiance, and history! I usually come for brunch which is delicious, and their jam selections are tasty! So fun! Love the goblets too. Such a sweet waitress!

Stopped by this last weekend to try the famous pink champagne cake! It was my first time there so I entered through the main doors and was directed to the Cafe which is immediately to the left when you enter. Also made online reservations about 15 minutes before just in case. Extremely fast and friendly service and the cake was enough for two people to share imo. The cake tasted similar to a vanilla grocery store cake to me though, you know with that specific frosting taste? but it was decorated so beautifully. My partner and I still enjoyed the cake and the kitschy ambiance though so overall would recommend for the experience!

Unfortunately, had high hopes for this place yet was an alright option. I was hoping to walk into a more wow of ambiance, but photos displayed are the most wow you'll get. The pink room is the steak house, so don't be fooled in thinking walking into that space. The food was quick diner status, for price and space feel should elevate menu with something more. Fair food but nothing amazing. Cute desserts and glasses, but was looking for more. Service was efficient and kind and quick. Might come back to check of box, but really wanted pink room.

I felt so bad for the kid running the host stand pretty sure his name was Michael because you can tell the management here has totally failed these employees. The kid was so stressed out. We got seated and no one came to see us and when I asked a waitress for some menus she gave us so much attitude and asked if we sat ourselves? Lol like ma'am you think we got a kids menu and crayons ourselves and made ourselves at home? She never gave us menus, we sat there and waited for 5 more minutes. she literally made us feel like we had done something wrong for wanting to eat here lol we ended up just leaving. I hope management figures it out because it starts at the top and works it's way down and it shows.

Good food, service was excellent. It was a little crowded and noisey. We will be back.
