Al pastor, tripas and buche tacos were amazing. The carnitas was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The drinks were delicious, fresh and homemade. I had piña, I look forward having horchata next. I like the salsa bar, can add as much or as little toppings as you like plus a good variety of salsas. I recommend the creamy green and the dark red. I would have liked some chips to munch on while waiting.

Some of the only authentic pastor you’ll get in SLO county. Really flavorful (although a tiny bit too salty). Salsa is also really good. Taco Tuesday specials make this place a no brainer.

I had been to this place a time or two and had a generally positive impression, one of the sites I service for work is near hear, and for some reason when I want a burrito for lunch, I end up going the Taco-bell down the street, which is a particularly bad Taco-Bell... I sit there wondering why I don't just go to that Mexican Restaurant down the street. When I do come here, I remember why.The burritos are Huge they are also tasty, which wouldn't be a bad thing on it's own if not for my situation whenever I'm there, which is that I am not anywhere near refrigerator where I could put my leftovers. The prices aren't bad for the amount of food you get, but rather than a giant $12 burrito, I wish I could buy a $7 burrito that is half the size.

Tacos. Thats why I come here. Al pastor tacos on taco Tuesday are where it's at. Simple, to the point, freshly made and a nice selection of salsa. Onions and cilantro are self regulated. Always my go to spot in SLO!

This 5 star review is solely because they have amazing Al Pastor. Their al pastor torta is AMAZING. The only poor experience I have ever had here is that there have been times where the food has taken a little while to be prepared, but slow your roll and enjoy the time waiting and it will be well worth it.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in San Luis Obispo county. Their food is authentic, and is really good tasting. I love their Al Pastor and their Lengua.Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian items like cheese quesadillas.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, and better for kids to eat local authentic made food.Dietary restrictions: They can omit items from your meal in order to meet you dietary needs.

Pros: the meat here is really good. The agua frescas are delicious. The salsa bar is spicy.Cons: sadly, all other food is very bland. Not enough salt/spices/flavor in the rice, beans, eggs, broths, etc. The homemade tortillas were a little too thick, too. Food is pricey for being so bland...Past reviews seem to be pretty positive, so possibly a change of staff (chefs, specifically) led to the food being super bland.

Worst food ever!! Hardly any meat in the ham breakfast burrito and the chorizo in the breakfast burrito was nowhere to be found. Menudo had no flavor whatsoever. My family of 4 received our food at different times so we were not able to eat together. We were the only customers there so our food should not have taken as long as it did. If I could give zero instead of 1 star I would. We should have taken the hint when we saw the restaurant next door full of people and this place was empty.

ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS this place is absolutely amazing. It’s slept on and I feel like more people should come here. An employee was kind enough to turn on an outdoor heater for us which was really nice of him. The guy was very kind but sometimes awkward but that wasn’t the point. The food quality is fantastic. I ordered tacos de asada and al pastor and they were probably one of the best meals i’ve had. The meat was cut up into large pieces and i’m usually picky about that and I prefer smaller pieces but these tacos were something else. Even though they were larger pieces they were still a perfect size. I loved the fact that you can add your own toppings as well. The main point is though is that this is a very good place, and I definitely recommend it for whenever your craving Mexican food.

Had tacos there recently. In the search for solid good Mexican good in SLO decided to try this place and start with tacos. If you can do good tacos, then you probably can do other stuff good. Lots of meat choices and none of them disappointed. Portions were great and flavors good. Had carne asasda, El pastor, carnitas, and chicken- . Got a side a rice and it's the best I've had in town.

Really good fish tacos! The salsa was too hot for me! They've done a good job making the most with their decor, given the facility.

I came in for the taco Tuesday. The cashiers was very kind and provided me all the condiments I needed for my tacos. Also ask me if I'd like more which is always a good sign from these taquerias. Al pastor favors about $2 for 1 cannot be beat as far as I know.
