“Had an awesome cocktail (Bees Knees) with their house made gin. The server also whipped up an excellent mocktail Piña Colada for my wife, who isn’t drinking and it was top notch. Paired with a spicy tinned sardine plate sitting in the sun on the patio and it was perfection.“
“Great place for family dinner. The kids were happy coloring with provided crayons and the waitress was happy to help them with chopstick cheaters (plastic apparatus placed at the end to turn them into tongs). They loved the Ramune marble drinks and there was a fair selection of flavors. There were plenty of non-sushi options too.The udon is great but I love the special cut rolls. The miso soup is tasty and the edamame is great too.The ambiance is better after they painted the ceiling and the bathroom is always clean!Parking: Usually easy to find parking and I appreciate lights at night.Kid-friendliness: The kids“
“Legit spot on the main strip. We only had three tapas (cerviche, wings, and tacos) and a couple drinks since we were trying to hop around, but I wish I had stayed longer here. Great service and great food with a comfortable interior. Would 100% return again! Ps: The asada tacos are incredible. Definitely a must order if you visit“
“We started our evening intending to dine at Guiseppe's down the street but they had a two hour wait. This turned out to be the best thing that could have possibly happened since we decided to walk a bit and look at other options. We aren't big seafood people but found enough intriguing options on the menu at La Bodega to give it a try.So, just..wow. What a great meal. Service was fantastic. Wine was outstanding. We thought the food portions might be small but they actually we just fine. We had the Chorizo Empandas and darn near got into a fight over them. Then the BBB Slide, which were also raved over. The creme brulee cheesecake was good but not as good as the Whiskey in a Jar (bread pudding). All the wines were local.Serving staff could not have been better and the whole aesthetic is definitely not the tackiness I've come to associate with Pismo Beach. We expect to become regulars here.“
“We got seated quickly. The waitress was friendly. The establishment was clean. Started off with the top shelf old fashion, which I loved. Then, we moved on the pulled pork fritters, which was delicious and much better than what I was expecting. Then the menu was 10oz ribeye steak grilled to perfection. I like my steak medium rare and did not disappoint.“
