Good take out and dine in place. Better quality Mexican food than many restaurants. Food comes out quick and meat is good quality. Nacho plate is huge. The pickled carrots and jalapeños were a great touch. We will be back!

Stopping through on a trip back to town and wow ? best taqueria I’ve ever had and Mexican style food is my absolute favorite. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Great service and very clean establishment. Can’t wait to come back next road trip.

Everything we tried was delicious. Birria taco platter, tacos, and quesabirria were very tasty. We also ordered micheladas and they were SO GOOD.
The tacos were really good. I ordered the 3 taco plate, one carne asada, one birria and one carnitas. They were all delicious and they are all topped with guacamole, onions and cilantro. The workers were really nice and polite. I will definitely come back to this restaurant when I am in town.Vegetarian options: You can order vegetarian tacos, burritos or nachos.

After traveling for 5 hrs with 2 kids, my partner and I saw Taqueria El Guero and decided to give it a try. Aye Dios mio, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Definitely pinning this place to my favorite Mexican restaurant list.

Food was adequate not great. (Much better fish tacos at Senor Chile in Edgewater MD) But the worst part was the ordering experience. The guy taking the order initially said it was impossible to sub out a side of rice for a side of beans, but then finally agreed to ask one of the cooks if that would be okay. It was approved. Then someone else in my group wanted a side of just beans — again, many protests about even finding g out if this was possible. Again approved, but the counter guy said that he would never do this for him again. I agreed not to request it again since I didn’t plan to return. Finally we requested a side order of three flour tortillas. This was not approved. They didn’t know how to enter this into the cash register or how to charge for it. So no extra tortillas for us. Fine. We will not be back.

Got the tacos, super good especially with the green salsa. Orange salsa was so spicy I couldn’t hang. The beans and rice were amazing, even told my partner that the rice reminded me of my great grandmother's. Horchata was a little more sweet and thick then I would’ve liked but still good.Updating: went again today and decided to order takeout. they got my order wrong and forgot to put the beans and rice I ordered. Too bad I didn’t check before I left and noticed when I got home.

Good tacos downtown SLO! We had a huge group and this place accommodated us with its large seating area and fast service. The birria taco was a crowd favorite. The carnitas taco was also pretty good. We loved their beans and rice! The portion sizes here are big so come hungry. Cool vibe in this place!
