Sadly, this place closed permanently as of today. This is what the new minimum wage and inflation does. Look forward to the next place they open, with robots...

This place is so frustrating! They do not honor their hours! I went at 6:30 last night and CLOSED again!

It’s my first time here and it’s the best Poke I have ever had so far.

Was staying in town for the week, just a college student with temp housing. They let you fill in your own order form BUT the prices are completely false …How am I as a customer supposed to know that the prices are actually $4.00 more for a bowl when all their website states is the same price of $10.68 per LARGE bowl?? It was actually 14.00 or so per. So it was 31 subtotal for two. I asked if they could honor the price and they refused multiple times. They acknowledge it’s on their website. Kinda a serious bait to drag you in when it seems the best deal, buts it’s actually far from it.Manager wouldn’t speak to me… and I was very reasonable about all of it. 1 star not coming back.

FALSE ADVERTISING! On their website it clearly states $10.68 for a large, 3 scoop poke bowl. On the order sheet I used to place my order it says $10.68. I arrived to pick up my order and they informed me the price was $14. What? I showed them their own website and was told there was NO WAY they could honor that price. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager refused to come out and speak with me. This is an unethical business practice and I do not recommend anyone eat here.

Wow! This is a gem. I had lived 23 years in North County San Diego and for the past 2 years passed this place everyday on my way to work at the Carlsbad Library. Well today was my first time trying it, and omg this place is severely underrated. There was no line and pick up orders from Uber Eats or Door Dash every five minutes. I understand why, everything was supper fresh and delicious. My mom and I both got a regular sized poké bowl with sushi-rice salmon, tuna, avocado, edamame, corn, seaweed salad, the house sauce and cucumbers. Everything was so refreshing in this heatwave and the workers there were very very nice . This is my new go-to poke place. Rice was perfect, I've been to Hooked on Poke but it doesn't compare to Pokewaii. Thank you!

I wanted to dismiss the lower ratings but they were right. service was okay, fish was not really fresh and tasted a little funky. They gave us very little fish in the large poke bowl. the cali roll that was made was subpar. the drive to san marcos for good poke here was not worth it. there are better places than this.

5 stars for takeout. Don't order through their online menu (grub hub). The prices there are higher than if you just order in person. Poke bowl with salmon and tuna was great.

Sent my son to pick up lunch. He came back with two large bowls with very little fish and missing ingredients. Went back to get fixed but the owner and his employee were just defensive and suggested we ate the fish before return to the store. I have been going to this shop since it opened. I would drive out of my way to go to this shop before any other shop closer to my house. I was just looking to have the issue fixed. It turns out they didn't have ingredients they usually have and ran out or low on their fish selections. The exeperience was so negative I asked for a refund. Owner was just mad that I dare suggest a mistake was made. Very poor business acumen and bad customer service. Won't be back. Went to my sushi spot Umai on Nordahl and this is how they do Poki Bowl and the same price for more, much more!

Had the sushi burrito and gyoza and they were fresh and delicious. I even wanted the Cajun fries but it's a weekend item and he made them for me anyway! Really friendly and great service. It's wonderful having good people running good friendly businesses ? ? ?

Located in the food court next to the movie theatre. The establishment was not busy when I came on Saturday afternoon and I enjoyed my food. Would come back again

Pretty good poke for a "food court" for the local theater. Food was fresh and clean with good options for toppings. Service was decent

Since they opened about six years ago, they have been our goto place for the freshest poke in North County whenever we are in the area. Thanks for explaining the story about the reward program yesterday and why it was discontinued. They are honest, upfront and super friendly. During the difficult times they have only raised prices less than a dollar over time while facing many challenges to keeping the freshest ingredients. Thanks for recommending to use the combo of Maui sauce and sesame oil.

Decent quality ingredients and sauces but I barely got any fish for a regular sized bowl.

This place is located inside a building shared with some other restaurants. The value is great because it comes with some sides like avocado that are usually extra but the quality of fish is not very good. The tuna especially had a very strange texture and didn't have a taste. The owner or manager was very friendly and welcoming which is where the 3 stars are coming from.
