Antoine's Cookie Shop is hands down one of the best cookie destinations in the Bay Area! From the moment you arrive, you'll likely encounter a line - but trust me, it's absolutely worth the wait. I've tried numerous flavors here, and each one has left me thoroughly impressed. However, there's something truly special about their original chocolate chip. It's incredibly buttery, bursting with flavor, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. One bite and you'll understand why people keep coming back for more. Now, let's talk about the price. Yes, cookies here can add up, but let me tell you, the taste is simply unbeatable. You're not just paying for a cookie; you're investing in a culinary experience that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. The workers here are quick, efficient, and always ready with a warm smile, ensuring that your visit is as pleasant as can be. Despite its smaller size, the shop is cozy and inviting, with the added bonus of a microwave to warm up those delectable treats - because who can resist a warm, gooey cookie? In conclusion, if you're a cookie enthusiast seeking an unforgettable indulgence, look no further than Antoine's Cookie Shop. With exceptional flavors, efficient service, and a cozy atmosphere, it's a true gem in the heart of the Bay Area.

These cookies are phenomenal! So tasty, perfect consistency (crispy edges but soft and chewy inside), and affordable. Highly recommend! My favorite is the cookies and cream.

My kids love coming here for cookies. Everything they have tried are delicious (chocolate chip, cookies & cream, peanut buttercup, and oatmeal chip). We have also gotten take out as a treat for their soccer teammates. So glad to have this local place in downtown San Mateo!

My best friend recommended this cookie shop when we had a girls' dinner and said she heard how good the cookies were. I ordered a couple cookies to try, the honeycomb and chocolate chip. I LOVED the honeycomb, it was a good sweetness, crispy edges, and soft center. The chocolate chip was on the sweeter side though. The girl in the front was nice, we went a bit late so some options were sold out. Luckily I was able to get the flavors I got! Overall, it was a good recommendation and if you like cookies, you have to try Antoine's.

Peninsula. We always stop by when we’re in the area since the cookies are not only good but prices remain reasonable at $2.10 each. Our favorites are the walnut chip, snickerdoodle & the two macadamia nut versions!

Great cookies! Would recommend the honeycomb.

Antoine's Cookie Shop might be some of the best cookies I've ever had. This little shop in San Mateo serves some of the best soft and chewy cookies that also aren't overwhelmingly sweet either. Staff are friendly in my experience and the cookies may cost $2.10 each nowadays instead of being under $2, but they are still worth it to me. I ordered the Baker's Dozen ($26) recently which is 13 cookies in total and I ordered at least each kind of their cookies. My top 3 favorites were easily the Snickerdoodle, Peanut Buttercup, and Oatmeal Chip with Pecans. I love oatmeal cookies, but also hate raisins and a lot of shops use raisins over chocolate chips so the fact that Antoine's has Oatmeal Chip cookies makes them a winner in my book. If I'm ever craving cookies this is definitely my go-to spot every time.

08.26.2023 - Dessert time.Smells so sweet and toasty. They have about a dozen flavors to choose from.Antoine's cookies are perfect. Why? It's their perfect size, their perfect crunchy edges, perfect ooey-gooeyness, perfect sweetness, perfect combinations. Perfect cookies. So far I've tried their chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, honeycomb and toffee. Favorite: HoneycombSince having their cookies, I crave it every week. It's the perfect little "pick-me-up." I've only bought about 3-4 cookies per visit so I'm not sure how they are after a day old. But I feel like it'll still be as good the next day after popping them in the oven. Will have to buy the baker's dozen the next time I'm in the area.

Pricey pricey but you cant deny these are darn good cookies. Great for a group because then you can taste all the different cookies!

Had a chance to try this famous cookie shop when in the area and really liked it! I had seen this place popped up when looking through Yelp and I knew I had to try it. When there I ended up ordering 2 cookies:* cookies and cream - this was delicious and yummy, also not overly sweet. The cookies are the perfect size * toffee - I LOVE toffee so when I saw this flavor I was so excited!! Every bite of this dish was delicious Overall the food was great and would recommend one to try out for a snack!

Stopped in for cookies the other day and everything was lovely! A very friendly cashier showed me the menu and interacted with my little one while I picked. I ordered 5 cookies to take back to our hotel for my husband and I to share. Got the chocolate chip, honeycomb, peanut buttercup, white chocolate macadamia, and cookies 'n cream. The chocolate chip and cookies 'n cream were my favorite. They felt like flavorful family recipes you look forward to at family events. And at $2 a cookie, they were a great price. Would definitely go back!

One cookie and I'm hooked! Definitely stop by if you're in downtown San Mateo, the cookies are so good! As you step foot into the store, the buttery aroma lures you into getting at least one cookie. A nice lady that ordered the baker's dozen saw how much me and my friend were struggling to pick a flavor and recommended the honeycomb and cookies n cream. She also mentioned that the peanut butter cup is great for Reese's lovers. I opted for the 66% dark chocolate and the honeycomb. Both had a crispy exterior and soft interior, with the honeycomb being more crispy because it was flatter. The cookies still taste amazing the next day warmed up in the microwave.

Had heard so much about Antoine's Cookies and just so happened to be in the area and saw it and had to try it finally! There was a line when I first passed, but when I was ready to go and get the cookies, no line at all. I ordered the Baker's Dozen - picked chocolate chips, dark chocolate, toffee, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, cookies and cream. The service was fast and friendly. The cookies were chewy yet crisp! Loved them! Will definitely be back!
