“Pretty good food. Burritos can be hit or miss, though. Sometimes there is just way too much rice in them, making the burritos a little bland. Overall though the meats are flavorful. It didn’t used to say on the menu (they’ve updated it since), but you can order regular taqueria meats like al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, cabeza, etc. in your tacos and burritos, not just chivo and res.Parking: Parking in a plaza“
“I was so happy when I started spotting the signature blue sky and beach themed Marisco El Pariente truck in the middle of San Mateo as I've loved their food at the San Bruno location for years. My lunch order is Shrimp Ceviche Tostada, a half -order of deep friend Shrimp Taco Dorado, a Fish Taco and a Shrimp Tempura Taco... all this for $18! The Ceviche is refreshing and comes with two crispy flat tostadas and mayo (packet) which melds perfectly with the ceviche lime juices and shrimp with pico de gallo-type ingredients. The shrimp Taco Dorados are deep fried goodness, topped with avocado and some Tapatio for dipping... squeeze a lime inside and you have perfection. Both the fried, breaded fish and the tempura shrimp tacos are topped with pico de gallo and avocado, again with limes to add a flavor twist. Pro tip: a little dab of mayo on any of the dishes adds some creaminess and balance. Overall, I love this truck, it's friendly staff and delicious seafood offerings. You must give it a try!“
“This place is a hidden gem. The tacos Dorados are some of the best shrimp tacos you'll find! After frequenting the San Bruno location I was pumped to see they added another truck close to me in downtown San Mateo. Fast and friendly service too!“
“When you see there is always a line of Mexican people waiting for food, you know you should check out the place. I usually get their lengua tacos, and I recently tried their California burrito, I really like the crunchy fries in it my only complaint was the portion of carne asada in it, a little stingy in my opinion. I think I will stick to their tacos in the future“

“Amazing tacos for a reasonable price! The truck was on the El Camino in front of Safeway. Red truck with some chairs in front. I had two tacos, carne asada (steak) and el pastor (marinated pork). If you order with everything it comes with seasoned onions, carrots on the side, and fresh onions and cilantro on the tacos. You can get green or red sauce on the side. Overall it's a great street taco. One of the best I've had in the area. Worth a try“
“The only thing I could say is good tacos with affordable price. The owner made everything alone, so service might be slow if there are many people. There’s a couple of people before us so we had to wait. It was fine since we would chitchat while waiting.Fresh tacos, handmade tortillas. The flavor was a little light. After squeezing the lemon juice in one, all I could taste was the sourness, so I left the other tacos without lemon. Also, cash only food truck, so be sure to carry cash with you when ordering here.Parking: It’s a street food truck, so you have to find a parking lot yourself.“
“Excellent food truck with lots of different options. The gorditas are filled with a tasty pulled chicken. We also enjoyed a vegetarian burrito. All delicious. The lady inside was really nice, and accommodating to our multiple requests about the food, and she gave great suggestions when ordering. Very friendly! Definitely recommend. It's a colorful food truck, with an enticing aroma; you can't miss it.“
“Andy's is a solid neighborhood taco truck serving up tasty eats with friendly service. They are usually open for lunch Mon-Sat from 11am-4pm. I stopped by last Thursday and ordered at the window: 3 tacos and 1 vampiro taco with both carne asada and al pastor meats. I preferred the tacos between the two, both meats were tasty, toppings were fresh, and salsa had a nice spicy kick. My plate came with some caramelized onions, radish, chips and salsa (green and red). Service was great, everything is made to order and came out fast. Great spot for a quick lunch.“
“Absolutely loved the food. Wanted to have a snack but ended up having a full meal by repeatedly ordering tacos. Great veggie taco, haven’t had such a good taco anywhere else in California. The only thing I’m sad about is not being able to find this food truck last 2 3 times I’ve tried looking for it.Vegetarian options: The veggie taco is absolutely amazing.“
