Loved their food! Massive portions, oh yeah!! I was stuffed! They've got great guac and chips! The Enchilada and Chile Relleno combo with rice and beans brought me back to my youth in L.A. really well made Mexican cuisine. The Chile Relleno is as big as my leg!! It's was awesome! I ate every bit. Their beans are very good, not your typical refried pintos. They're pinkish white and made just right and the rice is tomatoey fluffy goodness. I also ordered the shrimp taco. Loaded with grilled shrimps and cilantro with side of limes. Great corn tortillas! Reasonably priced and excellent food! Definitely reordering soon! Mucho Gracias! Excellent service! Try them now! The food is delicious, I always come with my family to eat but the attention of the cashier today was horrible and rude, they treated me as if I were begging them, I am a frequent customer of this restaurant and they have never treated me as badly as tonight , the other employees know us and are always kind to us, I do not recommend that you go at night

My experience at Guadalajara Grill in San Mateo was absolutely appalling, to say the least. I felt discriminated against and treated with blatant racism simply because of my appearance and inability to speak Spanish fluently. Despite placing my order over the phone in English without any issues, the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant and attempted to ask a simple question, I was met with disdainful glares and a complete refusal to understand or acknowledge me. It was abundantly clear that the staff understood English perfectly well, yet they chose to feign ignorance and treat me as if I were invisible. To make matters worse, other patrons in line witnessed the humiliating ordeal and attempted to assist by translating on my behalf, but even their efforts were met with indifference and disregard. Never in my life have I felt so dehumanized and unwelcome in a public establishment. The blatant racism and discrimination I experienced at Guadalajara Grill are utterly reprehensible. No one should ever be made to feel inferior or ostracized because of their race or language proficiency. I will never set foot in that establishment again, and I implore others to reconsider supporting a business that condones such despicable behavior. Also, their food is good, in fact I love their food, but the ownership and people there make me want to vomit and never come back again.

I've been going here since the mid 2000's and although there was an off year here and there this taqueria has been hittin the spot lately. Food is always fresh and prices are good in relation to the quality and amount. The servers are always very friendly and attentive. Highlights for us are the Fajita Burritos, Carne Asada Dinner plate, Taquitos and Super steak nachos.

Cute place. Grilled chicken tasted old, didn't eat it. Stewed chicken was bland. Ground beef was refrigerator cold in taco salad, didn't eat it. No limes or pickled jalapeños included with tacos. Everything just tasted bad. Young cashier girl eating as she was talking to me. $50. First and last time. Wanted to love a new taqueria.
