The dumplings in the hometown of dumplings are indeed good, and the noodles in the store are good. I have eaten them for several years, but the others are mediocre. The price is getting higher and higher.
You know it's authentic with the Chinese broadcast on TV, pictures of the dishes printed out on the walls, and menu in Mandarin. I loved being able to see the dumplings being made in the back. Excellent 水饺 and 小笼包, tasted like China!

This has become our go-to dumpling spot in the Peninsula. I have been looking for an authentic Northern Chinese dumpling restaurant around the San Mateo area for years. So glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem! Although it is a "no frills" vibe old Chinese restaurant, it's always packed for lunch on weekends, so I recommend going early before peak lunch time to get a table.
