“This place has been on my bucket list for many years ever since I saw it on the Food Network. It did not disappoint. It’s not a pretty restaurant. It’s not a good neighborhood. It doesn’t take credit card. But one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. If you are in the Long Beach/San Pedro area, I highly recommend it.“

“I got the goddaughter sandwich on soft bread, the spicy penne pasta (that came with a piece of garlic bread) and a margherita pizza. I came to this deli because my favorite one in LB was closed and I'm so glad I did. It's menu is flavorful, fresh, and affordable. Do yourself a favor and order anything or everything off their menu. Give them some time, they make everything fresh.“
