Haven't ordered in a while due to the pizzas being soggy our last ordered. Ordered this past weekend and had the same issue. When they first opened, this place was amazing. Not sure what happened. Minus the soggy dough, I love the pizza options and quality ingredients. Not returning for a third time.

This is the third or fourth time I have been to this establishment. This time, the owner was there and personally saw to the delivery of my order. The food here is delicious, from the pizza to the sandwiches. I enjoyed the meatball sandwich and the regular was generous in portion size. The owner is a veteran which also makes me appreciate this location even more. It is a chill little spot with ample table space and music. Also pretty cool are the murals that are painted on the walls, exhibiting serval local landmarks and sea life. Highly recommend this place!

Heard great things about this place and went in to give it a try. Purchase the chicken chipotle sandwich and man was I disappointed. Meat tasted rancid and service was really poor, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by ordering food. Maybe it was an off day but now you can't even order food without 24 hr notice and $50 dollar minimum. Best of luck on that business model.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Porthole Deli and was blown away by the quality of the food. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust and a wide range of delicious toppings to choose from. The salad was also fantastic, with a great selection of fresh and flavorful ingredients. The staff at the Porthole Deli were also incredibly friendly and attentive, which only added to the overall positive dining experience. I would highly recommend the Porthole Deli to anyone looking for delicious pizza and salad in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Tonight I ordered pizzas. Almost $60 for two pizzas and some wings. I expected something like that, but what I wasn’t expecting was $60 for burnt pizzas! WTF…A few weeks ago I tried their sandwiches around lunchtime. Those were decent. Maybe just stick with sandwiches?

Highly recommend the chipotle chicken sandwich! It's unique compared to all of the other sandwich options around San Pedro! This place can definitely can compete with all the other delis around town and holds its own in authenticity. Pizza is good too. Service is always friendly and welcoming as if they consider you family. Love to support small businesses that appreciate your business!

I decided to update my review. I ate here again and didn't get sick this time however I got something else. They do have to work on the burnt food however I didn't want to deter anyone from this business since it's a family business didn't feel comfortable doing that.
Relaxed setting, nice & friendly employees, & more importantly, the food was amazing! I definitely would recommend trying their Porthole Cold Sandwich!

Outstanding! Small little shop, but the food was excellent! Nicely decorated with the 'Porthole Theme', cool little barrel tables. The prices and portions were spot on and I would certainly go back the next time I am in the area. We had the Massacre sandwich (lg) and the Pirates Pick Salad. The sandwich was down right yummy and the salad was fresh and big.

Chipotle chicken sandwich!! It’s a bit spicy and tastes great, chicken was finely shredded today juicy still and softened w that chipotle sauce grilled onions n cheese. I got it on white bread today and avocado inside for the knockout punch.I live down the street and come thru for this sandwich specifically. They earned the shoutout so I’m saying try them out if you haven’t. Maybe you like a different sandwich, this one is my favorite, but they’ve been impressive all summer that I been going, so they probably do other sandwiches very well. I love this place. I’ve only ever gotten the pizza slice and a shredded chicken sandwich but I am happy with both. Customer service is good also. There ranch sauce is so yummy.
