I had a delicious dinner from Chonmage last night. I've meant to try them for ages, and I'm so glad I finally did. I got the spicy miso ramen without meat, and damn, it was good. Chonmage is the only restaurant I've visited in San Rafael that makes something described as spicy as well... appropriately spicy. Typically, I need to visit restaurants in Marin multiple times and get to know the servers a bit before they give me something that brings the heat. That's not the case here!...read full review
Best ongiri my brothers love it, and spicy ramen! The broth is so tasteful. I also love the Mango Sticky Rice! Super satisfying to look at! The owners are super nice. It's also cozy that you can enjoy eating a dish by yourself like I have and see the movie posters and beautiful lanterns on the wall! Great service!

I paid for extra meat for the spicy wagu ramen and although the dish was really spicy and really good I don’t feel like I got a food value for what I paid for. For 3 items nearly $35? Expensive.
