We tried the Prime Rib meal and the calamari. The food presentation was excellent, and the taste was very flavorful. Their prime rib was slightly more rare than usual wanted it, but was good for the price and a good cut of meat. Their service was very professional, with quick revive matched with an intimate restaurant vibe.

I've dined at Birk's several times over the years and recently revisited for their Prime Rib March Mondays to celebrate their 35 year anniversary. Nothing like a glass of red wine and a medium rare steak to get you through your Monday. Nestled inconspicuously between some tall office buildings, Birk's is a well-kept secret right off the highway. You've probably seen the bright red "Birk's" neon sign driving down 101. It's not the easiest to find, but it'll be worth the effort. The easiest way to access the restaurant is to drive to the back of the building to park and walk along the left side of the building with the Birk's sign to reach the entrance. The restaurant is bigger than it appears to be, with multiple dining areas and a large bar. Despite it being a Monday, it was fairly packed and bustling, so make sure to make a reservation if you're coming for the special. My group kicked off our meal with the oysters and bone marrow. Pretty standard, toast could've been fresher. The $35 prix fixe menu for March Mondays included a choice of first course: mixed greens, caesar salad, clam chowder, or soup of the day. I had the clam chowder, which was decent, but I prefer my chowder with a stronger clam flavor. The star of the show, the prime rib, comes with 2 sides, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, or vegetables. The prime rib was a decent size and perfectly cooked and their mashed potatoes are absolutely delicious. We also shared a side of Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese, which were both good. Ended our meal with matcha bread pudding and creme brulee, both fantastic. Despite the busy night, the service was on point, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Throughout the years, my experience at Birk's has been consistent and I've always enjoyed my time dining there. Birk's is a must-try whether you're planning a romantic date night, a cozy family dinner, or simply seeking a spot to unwind for happy hour.

The steak were special. The server was really good. If normal table can do happy hour as well, that would be better.

Hidden gem with good food. Went for a company dinner of 6 people-and we all agreed it was delicious. We had 2 hummus platters to start. I got a chopped salad, filet mignon 8oz, and the sampler plate dessert (the cheesecake was my favorite followed by the creme brulee).

My review is late (sorry been busy with work). My wife took our kids to Birks Restaurant on New Year's Eve for dinner. It was outstanding and while the last time I was at this restaurant was over 10 years ago, it still lived up to my expectations. Ambiance: The restaurant needs a little maintenance work. The fixtures look old and worked...no surprise as this restaurant has been around for ages. Service: It was as expected for a high-end place like this - GOOD. Food: See below ----------------------- * Bread and butter: This is outstanding just by itself! Yummm! * Appetizer - Chipotle Steak Bits: We got this and from the pic you'll see we all devoured this. I would get this if you are going to share o/w it is quite heavy. * Sides - Truffle Mac and Cheese: This was SO GOOD. I would highly recommend it especially if you have adults who like Mac and Cheese and kids as part of the Company. I would warn you that it is quite heavy. - Mashed potatoes: Good...but nothing special. - Spinach: Good and well sauteed * Mains - My sons each had the Filet Mignon and they both loved it. They got it with mashed potatoes and spinach (see pic) * Special: My wife had the pasta special which was elbow pasta in a creamy sauce with chicken - it was very tasty. * Sea Bass: I had the sea bass (see pic). It was a FANTASTIC presentation (the picture doesn't do it justice). It was tasty but I won't get this again...I don't like sweet with my dinner meats and fish and this one was a little too sweet for my taste. That said, I did finish it. All in all this is a good spot - we will again start to visit it again (the last time my wife and I went here was before we had kids). Now that we know our kids like the food there and it is kid friendly we will go there again.

Great spot to come for happy hour! The prices of their happy hour won't save you much money, but the items are very good! We started off with oysters Rockefeller which was the best I have ever had. Baked perfectly with the right amount of spinach and cheese. We then kept the appetizers going with the (hot) shrimp, beef tips and sliders. The shrimp was terrible and way over cooked and would not order again. However the beef tips were outstanding and a must order every time. The sliders were pretty good however would be way better with cheese. At this point we were full but momma didn't raise no quitter, so for my main I had a ribeye. Ribeye came with bacon infused creamed spinach and to me that was the highlight! The ribeye was pretty good and cooked a perfect medium rare. Their desserts were all also very good, and would recommend their cheesecake! Can't wait to come back!

Best filet I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. It was buttery, perfectly seasoned, and had a perfect char. I was blown away with the quality. My partner had the 32 oz Prime Rib and loved every bite. They included generous sides that are as delicious. Excellent customer service! I love the look of the bar, wood, and ambiance. It feels very classy. I can't wait to come back again! Just tried the Dinner Salmon and it was amazing!
