I have been going to this shop my whole life, and i’ll tell you they have been skimping on the cream cheese which actually makes me a bit upset. The owner is a really lovely lady and we always get to talking, but they put the smallest dollop of cream cheese on my bagel it’s not worth going in anymore. I recommend the one in Palo Alto, their bagels are larger, fluffier, and more cream cheese! They have have a better selection.

A very disgusting place and a mean as a dog owner. She's obviously sick in the head. She yells at everyone. If you can't keep up with the orders, hire more people. It's not the customers' fault. Don't yell at anybody. No one gave you that right. I don't recommend this place to

We normally do not right reviews as it could be biased. Thus business at this location could thrive if the owner us kind enough. She comes across rude and not welcoming . And she also says that us how her personality is. You could as well work with AI Robots rather than unkind humans

Rude service and store did not seem as clean as it should be.

The House of Bagels in Palo Alto is exceptional but the staff at thi location were rude and the place didn't seem clean. Huge disappointment. I would never go to this store again. The Bagels are good because the all use the same dough but they are better in Palo Alto store. This store does a disservice to the Brand!

I loved the house of bagels in mountain view but was disappointed when I came here. We got essentially the same things as the other location - BLT on cheddar cheese and tuna salad on a chocolate chip (cinnamon sugar last time). The bagel wasn't thick - it was flat like it didn't rise well for both bagels. There was also too much mayo in the tuna salad. My main issue was really in the bagel. If I were to go to a house of bagel again, I would drive further to mountain view.

The food quality has drastically deteriorated as these Vietnamese store operators cut corners to reduce expenses. I ordered a cheese bagel with lox schmear, which cost more than the menu indicated. The lox schmear was bubblegum pink and did not contain any lox. It's chives or scallion schmear with red food coloring at best. The most pathetic part was they didn't even bother to stir the food coloring evenly, leaving these red visible streaks in the spread (see photo). If you want to avoid being ripped off for false advertisements and be disappointed, go to House of Bagel on Hollenbeck instead. House of Bagel on Hollenbeck uses authentic ingredients yet charges less, and the staff doesn't lie through their teeth.

I was visiting the area for a convention. Well, my wife was, anyway. I was just tagging along. While my wife was in a seminar, I wanted to see what a random bagel shop could offer in the way of a sandwich. I was not disappointed. I had a bahn mi, and it scratched all the right itches. I took a dozen bagels back to the convention and they disappeared in a hurry. I guess they weren't getting fed at the convention. The lady behind the counter offered some good suggestions. Certain bagels are very popular and disappear early in the day, so it may make sense to get there in the mornings, instead of lunchtime. There was plenty of parking, too. I'll happily visit again, if I ever have the good fortune of returning to the area.

I take the long way to work just so I can stop at House of Bagels. Even when a few months go by without a visit, every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile and the amazing owner asks if I'd like my usual. The Pesto Bagel is life changing. The "Dirty Asian" (half Viet coffee, half Thai iced tea) is addictive. And the staff is over the top kind and friendly. Never had a bad experience and I know I never will.

Got a lot of sandwich with little meat. Price is above average for a Croissant sandwich. Don't recommend.

Love it. They don't usually fail me and the veg sandwich is always so good. I like getting a tub of the fresh jalapeño cream cheese + day olds for cheap! There's a huge variety to choose from but bagels will run out in the afternoon especially on weekends. If you can, order in person instead of thru the delivery apps to save some coins!
