Great food. Great service. Not too loud, but decent noise considering it's small for the amount of patrons they get daily. Ambience is casual, mid tone lighting. Wait line tends to get long though.

I was in the area and ordered the miso ramen. Overall, ramen was okay-good, but it did cost $20 for a ramen bowl. Which I think is a bit excessive for an okay-good ramen bowl.

Not sure why the ratings here have gone down. I love this place and it's been pretty consistent as far as I can tell. The Orenchi Ramen is my usual...and it's really good. brought my Japanese friend from Nagoya and he loved it. So yeah...not sure why the rating is low-ish. The egg is perfect...the broth outstanding, etc. It's just a great meal.

Orenchi is one of the ones that started the Bay Area "Ramen-craze", oh so many years ago - 15 years ago. The perfect sous vide egg with a creamy yoke, not overcooked that other places. Delicious thick broth and chewy bouncy ramen. It has been a while since I've last been here. They remodeled over 2 years ago. Before, it was a traditional restaurant, clean, modern decor, and simple where it was frequented by Japanese businessmen, most of the clients were speaking in Japanese. Now, the remodel has updated the place into a hip, trendy, anime- themed restaurant, but the layout is more for a quick dine and dash. Also geared for more single diners. Just my opinion. The service was friendly and polite.

Used to be a very good ramen spot. Now ramen isn't good. Soup and noodles aren't as good as they used to be. Don't recommend as there are plenty of better spots now

We ate here recently with my sister and her family after a long absence. I've forgotten how good their ramen is. The wait time used to be so long but we didn't have to wait at all this time. We went on a Saturday night, right at opening, and got seated right away. With the proliferation of ramen places in the Bay Area, hopefully ridiculous amounts of wait time are a thing of the past. For our apps, we all shared the Karaage and Calamari. Both were great but I was so surprised how good the calamari was. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Most places overcook the calamari but Orenchi didn't. So good! I would totally order that again. Hubby and I both had the Orenchi Ramen but I had mine spicy. Ramen was exceptional too. Service was great and the tables are nicely spaced and not too crowded. I would totally love to return and have more of the calamari. I'm still thinking about it months later. Lucky for me this place is not far from my sister's house, so we can always stop by before or after a visit to my sister's.

Orenchi Ramen was a bit of a letdown, meriting only two stars from me. I enjoyed the ambiance and the decorative comic wallpaper. But even with a small empty restaurant, service was slow off the mark - it took a while to get water, and it seemed like our table was forgotten shortly after being seated. The waiter did offer an apology but the oversight was noticeable. On the plus side, our food arrived fairly quickly, but then there was another slip-up: I asked for my my soda float to come out with my meal but was forgotten and didn't come out with our meal. I had the staff cancel the soda float since I was practically finished with my food, which was also salty.

Heard a ton about this place, but came in on a Monday night and there was no line and only a few patrons so that was a nice surprise. Parking is plenty in this strip mall location, but I'm sure this place can get busy on a weekend given the other businesses that share the same parking lot. Started with an order of the fried shrimp and gyoza. The shrimp was good and had a sweet sauce on it, but the gyoza was just ok. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen in a large and it was quite a bit of food. The only difference between the small and the large is more noodles and broth. This was good and the flavor was nice, but the star of the show was the soft egg, perfectly done! Service was prompt, but tapered off towards the end as I had to go looking for someone for a to go container. They also brought the bill prior to the party being done eating so felt a tad rushed. I do agree with some of the other comments that this place is good, but there are other specialty ramen locations that are better.

I came here to try the Karaage and the Shoyu ramen (even though they are known for the tonkatsu). The karaage was VERY good, but the ramen left a lot to be desired. It had two pieces of chicken breast that weren't even seasoned, so I'll have to come back to try the original ramen

Really enjoyed eating here! The staff were very nice and seemed to be in a great mood which put me in a pretty good mood. Has the house Ramen with spicy miso added and man that was very tasty. I would come here again. I also really like to design and vibe of the restaurant. Check it out and give them a try

Sadly This used to be my go to ramen spot with absurd lines but now i find it as just ok. It's still a solid ramen spot but there are a number of other specialty ramen spots that given similar wait times that I would prefer. Some pros: Chicken ramen available for those who don't eat pork (though the broth may be made using pork) Different size bowls available Can order extra noodles if you're extra hungry Shorter lines (at least when I went) Service is helpful Water available at the table Cons Noodles aren't what I remember :( Broth isn't quite the same either.. maybe an off day?

We have heard a lot about this place, but never had a chance to go there. Today was a perfect day for us to go try Ramen, because it was raining cold, and the weather was just perfect for the Ramen. The parking lot is always full so try to get there early and park your car. This is a very small place but extremely popular so you can expect long lines and there's no reservations. The moment you get into this place, you will get a vibe of a traditional Japanese Ramen place with people running around, trying to serve as fast as possible. We've tried a bunch of stuff I don't have pictures of them like fried chicken and rice balls. But our favorite has been traditional pork broth, Ramen. I'm going that again and try a lot of other stuff. This is the best place so far close to my house.

During my recent visit, I was surprised to discover a significant decline in quality compared to before. The ramen's soup base lacked flavor, and I am disappointed with the overall quality of the ramen they serve, especially considering I used to be a fan of Orenchi Ramen.

Very tasty and good. Must try. Highly recommend. Great appetizer! Order extra noodles with your ramen!

I haven't been to orenchi in so long but I do remember that they've always had good ramen. Coming back to try them out years later, I tried their La Casa Mia ramen(not sure if it was a collab dish with the restaurant next door) and their veggie curry. I loved both dishes and the service was friendly and super attentive. I'm guessing they turn tables around so quickly the place never looks super super busy which we appreciated.
