My friend and I are foodies; she is vegan and myself dairy-free we're always on the hunt for good vegan ice cream! She recommended Rocko's for dessert and I couldn't pass up on trying an ice cream taco! Right when I stepped in, I knew this was a popular spot. Artsy paintings, a neighborhood vibe, and happy customers rolling in and out are what you'll find. There's limited bar stool seating inside but most take it to-go. Lines can be long or short, but turnaround is fast. They have desserts for all--dairy, vegan, and gluten-free options galore! You're able to build your sweet treat or get one of their signatures. I chose to enjoy a Tiny Ice Cream Taco, my flavor of choice being the Vegan Matcha Oreo. For toppings, I had Dark Chocolate and Sprinkles. The tiny was the perfect size and it can get quite messy! The matcha was prevalent and not too sweet while the taco had a nice crunch to it. My friend enjoyed her Tiny Ice Cream Taco as well! For those craving ice cream and a unique way to eat it, I recommend Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos! Find them easily off Park Ave. with street parking.

I didn't enjoy this ice cream at all. I ordered a cookies and cream taco, and the tastes of cookies and cream was too light to taste. The taco shell didn't have an appealing taste either, almost like it was a little overcooked or burnt. Couldn't finish it.Service was also terrible. My friend got his order in a few minutes, while I waited over 10. I saw 5 people who were behind me in line get their order first, so I finally went up to ask the staff why my order was taking so long and that's when they realized that forgotten my order in the first place.I recommend Cream over this place. They also have tacos, but those are made fresh in a waffle maker and taste way better.

I sampled the cookies and cream taco, featuring Oreo topping and a dark chocolate dip. The brittle texture of the dip was a highlight, offering a pleasant contrast to the ice cream. However, the waffle failed to harmonize with the other components, and my friend's order was unfortunately overlooked by the staff. Despite the promising concept, the overall experience fell short of expectations.

Had their ice cream tacos which were ok. Service was not great. Had ordered 10 to go and when I reached home realized they only gave me 9. They didn't have good to go box. So gave everything in a plastic bag.

What a treat......Rocko's is such a fun and creative concept that combines waffle cones, ice cream, chocolate, and a variety of toppings. Customers have the option of selecting a tried-and-true flavor combo or creating their own. The employees are friendly and extremely quick during the checkout/taco creation process. They also have a handful of seasonal flavors. I DIY'd my taco with whiskey caramel ribbon ice cream, a white chocolate dip, and honeycomb on top. It was seriously delicious and I see why it's a go-to for people living in the Bay Area. The place itself was adorably decorated with fun artwork and light signs, clean, and had tables to sit at while enjoying the ice cream. They also offered other desserts and smaller savory options like toasts. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by and will be back!

I have been dying to try this place because of the concept and all the hype. Sadly I was quite disappointed. All of the ice creams (we sampled a few flavors) were not creamy or smooth at all, they were all very icy and kind of clumpy. The cone wasn't crispy at all, and it kind of had a stale flavor that just wasn't enjoyable and tasted old. We got the egg nog flavor dipped in dark chocolate, and we felt that the chocolate was kind of a cheaper dark chocolate. Idk our experience here was just a bit of a disappointment. The staff were super friendly and patient with us while we picked our flavors, but the actual ice cream taco was a miss for us sadly.

It's was fairly busy when we arrived however the 3 people working were about to take orders and fulfill them pretty fast. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Highly recommend this place! For all the adults when we were kids we had the now discontinued choco taco and for all the kids that didn't get to experience them this is the place to go. At Rocko's you can create your own ice-cream tacos or you can choose already made combos . Great place to take the kids!

Definitely have to give this place a try! It was a fun experience and yummy, but for me a one time visit. Not sure if the dry ice causes it, but the ice cream was not really flavorful. Went with 4 others and they thought the same. I went with cookies n cream with a chocolate and peanut butter dip. Maybe chocolate ice cream would've been better?
