The name pretty well sums it up for the place to get a “burger” & moreLots of deluxe burger choices. Well made & cooked to desired temp. It always has a large selection & assortment of local draft brews.Garlic fries are served fresh & hot is a good choice to add on to your burger.Local graffiti & mural art on all the walls inside & out is fun to look at.Booth & table seating inside & out. Parking in rear is nice & easy to get to off the main Mission street corner location.

While scrolling through this area's surrounding restaurants, we were hopeless on finding a good spot for dinner. Ended up at this place as recommended by a university student and it surpassed our expectations. This little corner street burger joint holds a lot of character and a whole lotta flavor. Food: There's a huge list of things on the menu to please everyone's palettes and I like how they make a lot of their sauces in-house. They have everything from donut burgers to chili dogs. The best part is they make potatoes in all different ways from tater tot's, truffle fries, and sweet potato fries. We ordered 3 different burgers that were paired perfectly with their combination of toppings. The sliders were by far the juiciest! They make a sauce similar to in-n-out and honestly, theirs might even be better... Ambience: They have a self-serve drink/condiment section and they have quite a variety of condiments + the extras you can ask for when you order. I love pepperoncinis so I'm glad they were able to give me some on the side. The decor inside is pretty trendy, yet bar casual vibes with a comedic touch (they use celebrity mugshots/profiles as their placeholders). Parking: Can get a bit tricky as they have a small lot and it's located on the corner of a busy street.

I think this place deserves an extra star in their rating. After four and a half years living here, I finally tried Burger. I went with a basic burger, lettuce wrapped, with cheddar cheese. I really appreciate any establishments going the extra mile to prove grass-fed beef. We are deserving of this quality and it's a shame you don't see it more frequently (especially in towns deemed healthy). I enjoyed the flavor, however, I think I'd like to try their gluten-free bun next time and see how that tastes. The lettuce wrap was satisfying and I probably could've had another patty, easily. The fries are quite basic yet satisfying. And that chocolate milkshake. What a treat! It's not often I order a milkshake but wowee, that was yummy. This will likely be one of my quick/goto burger places moving forward.

Definitely the best burgers in town! Salads are great too! Wish their fries were just as good, but I'm more of a fan of steak fries than shoe string fries... More potato, less grease please!

This is my go-to spot with my friends when we are all at home for the holidays. I love all the names for the burgers and how the table numbers are mugshots of celebrities. Chuck Norris Burger is my favorite- jalapeño, jalapeño aioli, and jack cheese. The garlic fries are my favorite- they are crispy and covered in garlic. The service is quick and definitely a hip spot to hang out at.

I love Burger. Especially love the sweet potato fries and the special sauce. But the real kicker is an amazing beer selection on tap. And, the bartenders are usually so happy to find you a beer you'll like. They are home to weird burgers like a burger with a donut bun. ?Burgers all have fun names.Everybody get on over to burger, it's been pretty empty in there the last few times I've been in and it will break my heart if it closes. They made it through the pandemic with great takeout options and outdoor seating... Keep Burger open!

Omg this place sucks so bad. The cheeseburger tastes like a sweaty man squeezed his sweaty armpit hair over ground beef and slapped some weird cheese over it and an untoasted bun. Fries ok though so if u like really crunchy fries and sweaty man beef I think you'd love it here.

So….don’t know what to make of the place but I think the bartender hustled me. I ordered a Mexican Elvis which the menu stated $11 but he charged me $16. I asked him why and he gave me such long drawn out excuse that I thought, wow you really need the money! Regardless, the drink was not good and I don’t recommend it, nor the food. Service??? Not good.

I would say this place certainly does sell burgers. It's burgers were not bad. I enjoyed the food. But my wallet was the only thing that wasn't full. It's was quite expensive. The drinks are fountain drinks are for small children. The buns on the burgers could've been a little sturdier since when we begin to eat they also begin to get soggy and fall apart. The ambiance itself is fine. Not what I would consider a dine in. It's more of a sit in and serve yourself like a McDonald's or Burger King. The fries were average they were not special nor terrible. I would say that this place isn't special in any way. There was also a little fly that wouldn't stop bothering us during our meal not the restaurants fault but it was annoying.

Came here for a takeout dinner after an afternoon at the beach. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger with pepper jack cheese and sweet potato fries. My boyfriend got the burger with the usual bun. I liked the detailed burger menu options and the table picture they give you to associate you with your order. The burger itself was pretty good and I liked how the lettuce wrap was cut in a way that it was easy to hold and the lettuce they use is perfectly crisp. The sweet potato fries were really soggy which could be just because I got takeout but I have a feeling they're usually pretty soggy. I took off one star because everyone else in my group who got sweet potato fries also recieved a dipping sauce but I didnt get one. Overall this is a decent burger spot and the take out orders came put pretty quickly.

I use to come to Burger on a somewhat regular basis before the pandemic. Yesterday was the first time I've been back since everything opened back up and I was disappointed to see that they are no longer serving their woodfire pizzas? In my opinion those were the best pizzas in Santa Cruz so it was very disappointed to learn they no longer are making them. :( The burgers are always good so if you're looking for a good burger and beer this is your place.

Zero stars for online ordering and delivery experience. They use the doordash backend but don't put themselves on door dash, likely so as not to pay the fees, so you can't use door dash to track your order, nor do they generate a receipt email. And then the ordering experience is confusing. And then they're rude about it to boot. Stay away unless you're going to the restaurant to eat as they also don't reliably pick up their phone.

I rarely eat at Burger and don't understand why. Every time I come here it's a great experience! My partner and I initially wanted to stop at a brewery and after 15 minutes of circling the place with no parking available, we decided to go to burger. Starters: parking spaces! So many that instantly my irritation went away! As soon as we walked in , we ordered in the front and got our beers. Within 10 minutes, our food was ready and let me tell you, so so DELICIOUS! Those onion rings take the crown honestly! I'm so serious, idk why I don't come so often but now I'm rethinking my meal choices! You gotta try!

This place looked really promising. Creative burgers, fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, the burgers were really bad for $15 burgers, heavily salted, dry, and bland. McDonald’s tastes better. Seems like it’s better as a bar than a burger place. The sliders however tasted pretty good; not worth the price and just as salty but the meat wasn’t as rubbery and dry.

Maybe I'm unaware of what the meta is at this location but I felt that it was sort of mid. It's on the pricier end now, although it does retain lots of burger and fry options along with other items to order. The portions felt barely satisfying after getting eaten alive on the beach. Still, not a bad place for food.
