We were visiting from Delaware March of 2024 and had a bit of everything. I have never tasted anything close to this. It was beyond outstanding!We were luck as the weather was ideal for shipping and we were able to send some back home for gifts. I am savoring the treats we brought back for ourselves. I've been making Donnelly Chocolates one of my first stops in Santa Cruz for many, many years! I get excited just thinking about walking into their little shop with so many awards.A true master with his chocolates. There are vegan options available to. Their new menu addition is a variety of milk and dark chocolate dipped ice cream bars. They were amazing and perfect.Just find this place! You will not be disappointed and might like the little adventure as well.

When we drove by we saw a sign that said, "World's best ice-cream bars" (the movie Elf came to mind with the 'world's best coffee') so we took the challenge. I have to say, all of us agreed, we had never had a better ice cream bar, than that offered by Donnelly Chocolates. Don't miss it.
