As someone who grew up middle eastern eating fresh falafel all the time this place does not even come close. The flavors are not there. When I went they didn't have hummus???? Like what and the tahini is made with Greek yogurt. Traditional tahini is not like that. Will not be coming back.

The food and staff was amazing, however their restaurant is in a pretty bad shape. Sticky tables, broken chairs, dirty floor, broken baby high chair.. atleast the restaurant’s interior should be hygienic and in operating condition.

Super stoked on my loaded fries! Fresh & hot! Amazing. Done in a timely manner, great price and staff (Erika) was super friendly and accommodating when I asked if I could get some tomatoes on it. So yummy!
Disappointed in the tzatziki sauce. No tomatoes o cucumbers on the gyros. No flavor. Great service. .

We've been coming here for years and the food is always fresh, made to order, and delicious!!! Staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient! It's one of my favorite go to places for gyros, burgers, salads and more!

Very delicious food! Visiting from out of town and actually ate here two days in a row. The place is small and you might have to wait a bit for the food. Everything tasted fresh! The sauces were good. No complaints!

No frills, tasty Mediterranean food. Highly recommend the vegetarian combo with four favorites: mine are spanakopita, Greek salad, babaganoush, and dolmas. Lunch special is also a quick eat with pita and gyro, shawarma, or falafel with fries and drink. Come with cash only and don’t go when you are in a hurry. Decades later it’s still here for a reason.

Wedding catering from Falafel of Santa Cruz was absolutely incredible! A lot of people told us that no one remembers the food from a wedding. They were wrong. We are so glad we took our time to choose Sam and the Falafel team, our guests made so many comments about the food afterward, it was such a hit.Working with Sam was very easy and he had an amazing menu picked out for us in no time that covered all of our guests needs from meat eaters to vegetarians and vegans.Cheese pies and stuffed dates as appetizers and unbelievably tender and flavorful filet mignon and chicken kababs were accompanied by at least 10 different sides that delighted us and our guests.Sam and his team arrived early which relieved stress from the coordinator and were amazing from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the food -- they guided our guests through the extensive and exotic spread, keeping everything full, tidy, and looking great til the end. And even packed up leftovers for us to have at our hotel after!Thank you so much Sam and the Falafel of Santa Cruz team!
