Random stop on Santa Cruz turned out to be amazing. 11am on a Sunday , so was pretty empty and I showed without looking up this place.But it turner out great. Had a breakfast burrito which was tastier and bigger then my expectation.Salsa and picked onions added a great touch.
I had cochinilla pibil, al pastor, and carnitas tacos. The carnitas was the best I’ve had in Santa Cruz, and the cochinilla pibil was super tasty. Nice to have something fresh and unique.

La Katrina was delicious! The murals are bright and welcoming. Four of us came for breakfast and were very happy: chilaquiles red and green, huevos rancheros, and breakfast burrito. Delicious food. Full salsa bar including fresh fruit, great coffee.
