“Second time at Kareem's, and the taste just stays golden! Ordered the Falafel entree meal with a side of yellow rice and French fries, and also the Plant based Fat Kid (yes that's literally the name) with an order of Fried Cauliflower. The falafels stayed extremely warm the whole visit, crispy while soft on the inside. The rice portion was massive with leftovers for the next day. And the French fries were seasoned just right to with a perfect crunch that I couldn't get enough of. The Plant Based Fat Kid meal is literally what it's meant to do: satisfy a hungry vegan or someone wanting to eat healthier without jeopardizing the indulge. The quinoa and hummus are worth it in this meal alongside the aforementioned crispy warm falafels. For the seating, there indoor and outdoor, adorned with lovely greenery and tables showcasing the restaurants reviews from the news. And the restaurant wouldn't be what it is without all the amazing staff. They're very welcoming that makes you feel like family. One of the owners of the place, Nesrine aka the Falafel Queen, took my order and was there was a shortage of grape leafs for one of the other meals I order, she kindly gave me an extra falafel! “It was a rare occasion for me to dine at a Turkish restaurant in the US. In fact, this was my first time experiencing Turkish cuisine outside of Istanbul. Owned by a friend of my friend's in-law-to-be, the restaurant offered a selection of traditional Turkish dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The meats were prepared in the Halal style, and the flavors were exceptional. While it's difficult to discern between Halal and non-Halal tastes, I understand that some people have religious preferences regarding their food. The black tea I ordered complemented the meal perfectly, although it's worth noting that the restaurant does not serve alcohol. The Mediterranean-inspired decor and ambiance, along with the predominantly Middle Eastern clientele, added to the authentic experience. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this establishment to sample delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The service definitely needs improvement. Our second order didn't arrive until after we had finished the first one completely. We were left wondering when the second order would be ready and had to remind the waitstaff about it. Their response seemed puzzled, and it wasn't clear if they understood our query. We even considered ordering something else, but luckily, the second order finally arrived about five minutes later. To better accommodate the diverse ethnicities of their patrons, the establishment may need to ensure that their waitstaff communicates clearly and with appropriate expressions.“

However, the standard waiting time is one to two hours, and even between 5:00 and 5:30, I waited about 40 minutes to be seated.“

I can see why they don’t add ketchup, there are so many different flavors packed into one hot dog with all the toppings . It was very tasty. Prices are reasonable but we did end up getting some chicken tenders as we were still hungry after eating the hotdogs and sharing some sides. My kid liked the lemon cake better than the chocolate one and she really liked her strawberry cake shake.I really liked the decor too. We just order appetizers and dessert since we were kind of full, but we wanted to give this restaurant a try and it didn't fail us. “Wanted to try a new breakfast spot this morning and this place came up on Yelp. I ordered a pork belly breakfast burrito, a pour over, and a fudge chocolate brownie. Pork Belly Burrito: Welcome to flavor town! The eggs are light, cheesy and well seasoned. The eggs take center stage but they also help bring all other ingredients to the spotlight. The pork belly was soft and its fat rendered well into the rest of the burrito. The pork belly didn't make the burrito greasy, which I loved. The tortilla was also soft and fresh tasting--I think they might be making their own tortillas in house. It came with a green salsa that was punchy but not too spicy. The only con in my opinion is the size of the burrito. I only count that as a con because I'm a big dude, with a big appetite. However, I would definitely buy this burrito again since all of the ingredients are of quality and very delicious. It's a 4/5 stars for me. Pour over: The pour over they had today is from Peru. The barrista did a really good job of controlling the water temp so I was able to taste all of the notes in the coffee. I noticed the flavor of berries with a chocolate after taste. Flavor is not overly bold with a nice creamy body. Shout out the barrista! 5/5 stars I love me some good coffee. Fudge Chocolate Brownie: The brownie was good but I wouldn't get it again. It's a heavier brownie--I like a more cakey type brownie. This brownie was dense, hence the "fudge" in its name. It leans towards a dark chocolate flavor profile with a bit of sweetness to counter the bitterness. You have to be a big chocolate lover to have this. However, they did have other pastries so they have choices for you. 2/5 stars for me. They have a cool little brick and mortar shop on Cesar Chavez that has a couple of tables for you to enjoy your food or grab and go. Overall I give this place a 4/5 stars and would definitely recommend trying them out. (Plus you get to support a small business!)“

I was expecting it to be a traditional burger plus a grilled pineapple but instead it was a traditional burger with the choice of beef or chicken teriyaki added to it. It was very good. “I'm so excited to have stumbled upon Holy Grounds while looking for a cafe on Google Maps! Holy Grounds is definitely a hidden gem on an otherwise lengthy street. If you enjoy cars zooming by for white noise, then this spot is perfect for you! What makes it amazing is that parking is plentiful, and there is a two hour limit - perfect for a quick work / study break. I ordered their iced latte, and by the first sip I knew this would be a good day. Unlike other espressos that I've tried ,the ones served at Holy Grounds are lighter, and the milk gives it a perfect creamy texture. If you're into beans that are not too strong but still pack a hint, I highly recommend their iced latte. There are also a variety of snacks and food available for purchase, and most of the space showcases artwork and merchandise from small businesses. Although it's a bit out of the way to drive to, I can see myself coming back whenever I'm in the area just for the ambiance... though beware that there isn't too much indoor seating - two spots at a bar is all that I saw.“

“I've been here a few times and decided to try their pastrami sandwich. It was not what I expected. It was too gooey and saucy for a pastrami sandwich and skimpy on the meat. The pastrami itself was small pieces and shreds as opposed to slices. (Go somewhere that specializes in pastrami if that's what you're craving. ) I've had other sandwiches here particularly the Boss and Turkey Salad sandwich.
