I hate to say it, but this Popeyes franchise is the most poorly managed one I’ve ever encountered. The level of mismanagement here is truly astounding, and it's not just about the subpar customer service – that's just the beginning. From long wait times to incorrect orders and even cleanliness issues, it's clear that something is seriously amiss. It's frustrating to witness such a lack of attention to detail and care for the customer experience. If there were another Popeyes option nearby, I wouldn't hesitate to give it my business. It's bewildering how the owners seem oblivious to the glaring issues plaguing this location. Truly disappointing.

This was the best service I’ve ever received at a Popeye’s! Danielle was our server and she patiently walked us through the menu, helping my mom who had never been to a Popeye’s before. She was so friendly, provided recommendations and was so quick! As always, the food was delicious. Their chicken is always so good! We got a 16 piece meal and a classic sandwich.Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

This store should be shut down for calling the cops on an Autistic child.

This was my first taste of their chicken. Unbelievably tender! I can't wait to return for more.

The manager at this restaurant called police and kicked out a family because their autistic son was “being too loud”. Legend says in her previous life she slapped kids before. She does not deserve to be working for the public. She needs training or to be FIRED. We demand answers NOW! You could be sued for this.

The fact you people didn't fire the lady who was rude to a family with an autistic kid really shows how much you actually care for your customers. Disgusting.

The manager at the Santa Maria store needs some DEI classes real fast, she does not have any business facing customers, your store owes an apology to the parents of the autistic kid that was asked to leave the store, shame on you Popeyes and on your manager.
Disgusting food and workers calling the cops and an autistic child and his family people with disabilities have rights! You all need to be fired!

I swung by Popeyes in Santa Maria again, and wow, what a turnaround! This time, everything was spot-on. My order was perfect and ready before I could even start wondering how long it’d take. The vibe in there? Totally changed – it’s super welcoming and lively now, like stepping into a little party where everyone’s happy to see you.But here’s the kicker – the staff made me feel like a VIP. Everyone was all smiles and super efficient, making sure I had everything I needed. It felt more like hanging out at a friend's place than a quick stop for food. Plus, the chicken was as delicious as ever, hitting all the right notes of flavor and crispiness. They’ve really stepped up their game, turning the whole experience into something special. I left already planning my next visit. Kudos to the team at Popeyes in Santa Maria – you’ve got yourselves a regular!

Service was slow. The fish sandwich was awful. Several people who ordered after me served before me. Fries were old and over spiced.

Ordered during lunch time and was told I had to wait for my sandwiches, totally fine (I knew they'd be fresh). During my initial order I asked for a Mardi gras mustard and paid $.25 cents for it. When arriving at the window I was told 9 mins wait and said sure, "please make sure to get the sauce I paid for" the girl acknowledged me and I asked if I should park in a spot or just pull forward. I was told just to pull forward since there was no other cars in line. I waited 20 mins and I didn't realize there was a car behind me so I got honked at. I pulled to a parking spot. When the food came out the associate didn't know where it was going, there was no communication between the employees. I got my order and drove off because my lunch break was over, I didn't get my sauce. I was livid especially being pregnant I really wanted the sauce and I didn't have time to go back. It literally ruined my day.
