“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.”

We had the Pappardelle Bolognaise and a wedge salad, both were amazing. The valet is really convenient but super expensive, even for LA. We'd stop back in some day for sure!”

We shared the cheese plate and gen ceasar and the servings are quite large and perfect for sharing. The BBQ scottish salmon is a real standout and the fries and blistered spinach great sides. They also have a very nice selection of wines by the glass. The staff is very attentive and we enjoyed the night thoroughly.”

“Cookie Good is so reliably delicious! I've ordered their cookies for many events and life milestones over the years, from graduations to birthday parties. I recently bought several dozen wrapped cookies for a birthday party, and adults and kids alike loved them. They had so much fun trying all the creative flavors, and of course, kept telling me how tasty every flavor was. I highly recommend!”

We only had to wait 20-25 minutes for a table on a busy Saturday night. The service was great, as it didn't take too long for the waitress to notice us and get our drinks order. Ingo's Tasty Diner is Great place to meet up with friends. Quiet without getting silent and the food is amazing. The drinks menu was extensive. Portions were good and I didn't feel like going into a food coma after leaving. Try their Brussel sprouts, it's delicious! Get ready to spend some $$$, as this place is pretty pricey but worth the price in my opinion. There is no parking, expect the metered parking on Wilshire.”

The Oxtail Noodle soup was delicate and tasteful as well! My favorite was Black Pepper Beef plate! I confirmed That’s what I smelled while walking past the restaurant on a previous day! 5 out of 5 stars”

We googled the restaurant menu, and decided what we were going to have. when we got there, and they brought out the menus, all what we decided to have was not on there. I was crushed. Because I had my mind set on the Halibut. I said it's ok I will just have the Ribeye, mind you I had a ribeye steak the night before. When the waiter came back, my wife asked if it's possible to get the Halibut and he said let me check with the chef. He came back later and said the chef said it's no problem. I was blown away. That was the best Halibut ( besides mine) that I have ever had. Thank you chef Shawn. From one chef to another, thank you. you made my night.”

“It was bustling when we got there! A large line near the deli cases. You grab a ticket number and wait for them to call out your number and then you can order.
The guy at the counter was super nice. We got the godmother sandwich and grabbed some drinks, chips and pasta salad from the cold case.

The bread was so good. Chewy outside, fluffy inside. The peppers were really yummy too. I’m so sad we don’t have anything like this where I live 😭

I swear it was life changing! It was so buttery and gooey inside yet crispy on the outside. I also had a pistachio lemon croissant which was just fantastic! Not as life changing as the cinnamon roll but still wonderful.

This place gets BUSY and sells out so try to get there early because the word is out. On the weekends there's always a line out the door onto the sidewalk, but I assure you, it's worth the wait!

For appetizers, the Sichuan fries and egg rolls are to die for 🔥. So crispy, flavorful, and addictive!

And make sure to finish with the chocolate chip cookie 😍🍪 — the perfect ending to a great meal.

“An absolutely wonderful dining experience at Orla by Michael Mina! Everything was exceptional, from the food and presentation to the service and overall atmosphere.

We had the lamb chops and the snapper, and both were outstanding… beautifully prepared and full of flavor. And whatever you do, save room for dessert! The Baklava Sundae was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to cap off the meal.

Orla is definitely worth a visit, and I highly recommend it!”

“I don’t usually give out 5 stars… but this spot is a gem… and a diamond in the rough… I’d have never expected a sandwich spot in Santa Monica that shares the space with a tobacco/cigar store… but wow… color me impressed… super super nice guy working the counter and making the sandwiches, I’m assuming he’s the owner… I asked for a recommendation on his favorite, and he said the tuna… which I appreciated for a number of reasons but hits different when the owner is recommending the least expensive sandwich… usually it’s the opposite. Please listen to me, this is one of the top 2-3 best tuna sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Loved the additional fresh ingredients, from chopped eggs to cucumbers, lettuce and fresh red peppers. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone.. also the bread was a perfect toasted pillowy texture that I couldn’t get enough of. Top tier”
