“Polish girl checking in! Grew up with Polish food made by my mom and grandmother, and had a craving. SO happy to find this place. The food was incredible and authentic, the service was lovely, and the space is beautiful. Hidden gem in Santa Monica. I'll definitely be going back. Seems like a cool place just to hang out too, love the outdoor patio.Pro tip: If you're ever feeling under the weather, order their pickle soup! I've had it delivered twice while I was sick, and I swear it has cured me both times, lol. Ultimate comfort food. Might be my favorite soup in the world! Also love love love the bigos, and my non-Polish boyfriend loved it too! (His first true Polish food experience!)“

“Dinner for 4 on a Thursday at 7pm. Small parking lot was full, we had to circle for street parking. No Valet. Busy inside. They only seat once the entire party is present. There were several groups waiting for their people, the entryway was crowded. It's loud inside, I later saw a warning from my phone! Food was tasty. Portion sizes good. La Jolla potatoes are kinda like scalloped potatoes. Sticky toffee pudding to share was great.“

“I saw this place and thought it had a nice view from the street over to the ocean so I figured I would eat there. I honestly thought it would be a tourist trap type restaurant because of the location, however, it turned out to be amazing food. I ordered iced tea, which had a lovely and fresh taste to it, not like it came out of the can. Guacamole fresh salsa is fresh, and I ordered fried snapper fish tacos were excellent. The rice was also good, being very flick as opposed to just plain tasting rice. I was pleasantly surprised at the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Started the visit with bad vibe. They did not like my "look" and were suspicious that I would not be spending enough money to make my presence profitiable. Within 10 min, the bartender and I came to an understanding. Over $100 later we were great friends. Really good food and decent drinks. I recommend the civeche and the yellow tail.“

“Always chill, even on occasion people are friendly and talkative. Can play pool or darts or other games. I like the decore, pennies under resin on the oak bar, bathrooms are nice since the refurbishing. Prime Pizza walking distance (a lil far but not bad). Park across the street. Coffee place I haven’t been to a few doors down that closes shortly after this place opens. Lazy Daisy breakfast location right next door. Street parking at meters, or park down in the neighborhood south on the cross streets, not far at all. Sometimes I park and jog at the park then stop here. Also I like the jukebox app they got going. There’s also back alley parking and entrance. They just started offering pretzel, dog, snacks, I used to have to go to grey block pizza, now prime pizza. There are other Mexican, fast food, and 7/11 joints nearer. There’s a Whole Foods less than a block away too.“

“A pub located on Santa Monica Beach, about 30 minutes by Uber from Los Angeles International Airport.Light music plays, and you can watch sports such as the NBA on the screen. There are many craft beers available, and the medium size of $11 can be considered a large size for Japanese people. Fish and chips also come in half sizes. (lol)There were three options for the tip at checkout: 18%, 20%, and 25%, or you could customize it by writing it yourself. When I visited Las Vegas over 10 years ago, it was 10, 15, 20%. . This may also be due to the effects of inflation.“

“I joined some friend for brunch at One Pico. Reservations seemed to be suggested which we had. We were appreciative to sit by the window with ocean view. As a local, it's still beautiful. Our server, male, brown wavy hair originally from IL, was super friendly and helpful. There were so many options. He helped us choose some good items. He suggested the Benedict choices as well as the burger and the savory crêpe. The interior is gorgeous just as you would imagine for a beachfront hotel. Soft blue and beige hues. Comfortable chairs. Large windows. we ordered two different eggs, Benedict options that included the lobster, prosciutto, and Canadian bacon. I opted for the salad which had the curly endive and two poached eggs. I added a side of grilled chicken. We also started with the watermelon salad and one blue gin cocktail and cappuccinos. Immediately after we were seated, we were served a fruited banana nut bread I believe. It was delicious. Our waters were kept refilled. The cappuccinos were delicious. My salad tasted OK overall. I think the dressing lacked a little seasoning or flavor. I noticed salt and pepper was omitted off the table. I should've asked for some. The side of grilled chicken I believe was an airline style chicken breast with the small drumstick bone. Again, it lacked any flavor, but it was some good additional protein. Although the two poached eggs were plenty. The grilled bread was delicious. Both my companions enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The server checked back multiple times. Definitely a destination place. The prices for beachfront restaurant are obvious. Valet parking is $14 in front. The location doesn't open until 11 AM. I probably would come back and try other items or take people from out of town..“

“Stopped over here briefly for a quick nightcap on a Friday. Interesting decor on the inside and not crowded at all considering the time of night.Solid beer and cocktail list at reasonable prices. Ordered a pint of the "A-Slo-Ha" by Slo Brewery ($6ish) - an incredibly juicy IPA that's crushable. Vibes inside are nice as there's a movie playing on the TV, no loud music, and some shuffleboard to the side.Bartender is chill and got our drinks out quickly. No issues with this spot at all, just an easy place for a quick/quiet drink.“

“It's a laid back steak house vibe Prices are comparable if not better than other steak houses in LA. Inside and outside are obviously different. From some of these reviews it seems like people don't understand that. they have heaters btw! But depending on the weather and my party size I go back and forth. Really love the happy hour here! Best burger on westside! Lily is fantastic and always super helpful The bar is so fun on Friday and Saturday nights!! Although can get a little cougarish Baker and kelly are awesome!!! “The 3-6 PM happy hour is where it's at! Glasses of wine and beer are half off plus $12 select cocktails and some heavily discounted bites. There are a few tvs and great ocean views from the bar. We wanted somewhere to watch the superbowl without crazy crowds and this checked off all of the boxes. The eats were all stellar. Burrata ( $12 on happy hour) was so delicious and came with salami and honey cooked pears. We also enjoyed the calamari, margherita pizza and chips with pico and guac. All bites under $12 - a steal! Service was on point and the bartenders were all so friendly and made good drinks. The Shutters hotel is swanky and in a great location. Whether you are a guest at the hotel or just looking for a great happy hour this is a solid spot. 11/10 recommend.“

“Quote from someone elses review: "If there's one thing that's hard to mess up, it's Pizza." I COULD NOT DISAGREE MORE! A solid pizza with good fundamentals is incredibly rare, especially on the west coast. And then I found Vito's! A NY style spot in LA. And it's an actual great NY style pizza. I got the 18" Red Meat pie for $36 which is enough pizza for 2-4 days for me. Beautiful undercarriage. Nice thin style crust. Fresh ingredients. Only complaint: a little too floppy for me, but I got it delivered and it's quite a lot of toppings. I'll try the pepperoni next time. Highly recommend this place for anyone who's particular about your NY style. I've tried many pizza places in LA and haven't been satisfied. This is an 8.4 on the Dave Portnoy scale btw.“
