“Go go go here. You will have missed a world class jam if you don't have some on your toast or have the jammy pancakes. The avo toast is a work of art. The couple who owns it are sweet. Servers are lovely-so happy and accommodating. Inside and outside dining--beach-y vibe.“
“listen: its west LA, there are a *TON* of options... but none of them are as good as this. start with the chilaquiles -- they are *chef's kiss* incredible. and anything else you order will be impeccably seasoned, full of authentic flavor, and fresh. everything is “
“I got the veggie panini and an iced matcha w/ oat milk; both were very good. My brother ordered a french toast that he vacuumed down in 5 seconds and my dad ordered an omelette that he could not get enough of. Everything was just so fresh and healthy. The service was great and the employees are so friendly! I definitely suggest eating in the back patio, the atmosphere is just amazing!“
“I've visited cafes on five continents, and this is among the very best. The coffee beans are exceptional, and the execution is equally good. The Americano was appropriately dense, with a wonderful balance of acidity and bitterness. No sugar or milk needed. The baked goods are of matching quality, with scones that are fittingly dense with just a hint of sweetness. Best of all is the communal nature of the spot, with patrons eager to converse. And this, my friends, can't be bought or sold. We'll be back!Vegetarian options: Vegan English scone“
“FOOD/DRINK: They make such a great cortado coffee, would definitely get it again. Also had two vegetarian arepas - black bean and cheese, and mushroom chorizo. The latter was my favorite, but both were delicious! These came out on the quicker side (maybe 5 minutes?), though I know can take up to 20 to make from the other reviews. Tasted flavorful and fresh, and were a great portion size for breakfast or a mid-day snack. They have a decent-sized breakfast and lunch menu (along with some pastries), plenty of vegetarian options, and fruit juices that looked really refreshing. AMBIENCE: I really enjoyed the ambiance here. I went on a weekday, so it wasn't super crowded. There's a few 2-4 seater tables, a larger window-facing table with comfy chairs, a ledge for those who want to park with a laptop, and some outdoor sidewalk seating. More of a casual vibe, very bright and airy and open. On a corner. There is street parking (up to 1 hour directly in front, and up to 2 hours a few blocks down on Ocean). That's my one qualm, is that it'd be hard to spend more than 2 hours here due to the parking situation. SERVICE: So friendly and kind.“
“Cafe Lovi is our favorite neighborhood spot! The sandwiches are amazing. You will crave the challah bread after! They are also an Italian-style coffee shop. The espresso is amazing and our lattes are always the perfect ready-to-drink temperature. To top it all off, the staff are so welcoming and they are incredibly dog friendly! Our dog now guides us there on every walk!“
“I just ate the best Reuben I've ever had (they call it the Clevelander). Bread is soft, meat isn't fatty or chewy, perfect amount of sauce while not dripping in it. Not messy at all. 5/5 - fantastic. As a Jew I've had my fair share of Reuben's on the East Coast and this is still streets ahead. Everything comes with a side and I've always chosen the potato salad and it is awesome - vinegary, mustardy, bacony, warm, all the good stuff. 6 stars for also having Weisswurst, which is a white sausage that is often boiled and softer. By far my favorite and definitely the most unique of the usual sausages you'll see in America. Served with a hefty amount of really good sauerkraut, it's my other go-to dish now. This place is amazing, quick, people are kind, and always outdoor seating available. 6 flippin stars“
“Between the spacious-pet-friendly patio and quaint indoor seating, this brunch spot offers a sweet vibe for a casual brunch. The staff always seem friendly enough to help regardless of the long lines of people. For food, I was hypnotized by the squash pancakes! Now I am a dessert girly, so when I saw that these pancakes as a fun healthy twist on my go-to breakfast option I knew I needed to try them! And boy oh boy, now I am HOOKED! The pancakes are light yet flavorful, and the maple syrup compliments the dish with a touch of sweetness. Overall, I cannot wait to come back and get more!“
“The options here are top quality. Had an amazing latte with hazelnut, I think it was actually called the best hazelnut latte ever and it really actually was one of the best. Love when a coffee shop truly creates high quality delicious lattes that don’t taste bitter or worse, like warm milk. They hit the right flavors!“
“We went there on Sunday at around 10am and got a table inside without wait, but it got crowded short after. The food tasted great and the atmosphere was great too, but our orders were forgotten for half an hour, and they didn’t notice it until we reminded them. Otherwise it was perfect.“
“I came for a macchiato, which didn't impress me especially. A few hours later, I returned to see how this place would do on the food end. I ordered a ham and cheddar sandwich, which turned out to be the single most delicious thing that I ate during a three-day stay in the Santa Monica canyon. I like Rusti and would come back again for further coffee explorations. After all, no one is perfect! This coffee-shop-in-a-trailer business reminded me immediately of Highwire Coffee in Albany, CA yelp.com/biz/highwire-co… . I guess that this is a thing. It's a good thing too: what else are you going to do with that old trailer?“
“I really loved the food at Huckelberry and riding online and picking up went super smoothly. My challenge is the pricing. We had 3 breakfast burritos and the bill was $75!!!! I know I have a lot of options in town and their ingredients seemed top notch, but a $25 egg burrito is bananas.“
“Well I'm impressed at absolutely how busy this place is. And now I can tell you deservedly so. The food was very good and the people who work there from the management to the runners to the counter staff and the Busters were just all very very nice and very thoughtful.“
“A pub located on Santa Monica Beach, about 30 minutes by Uber from Los Angeles International Airport.Light music plays, and you can watch sports such as the NBA on the screen. There are many craft beers available, and the medium size of $11 can be considered a large size for Japanese people. Fish and chips also come in half sizes. (lol)There were three options for the tip at checkout: 18%, 20%, and 25%, or you could customize it by writing it yourself. When I visited Las Vegas over 10 years ago, it was 10, 15, 20%. . This may also be due to the effects of inflation.“
“A nice coffeeshop that has a minimalist decor with bright yellow color pop ups in cups, machines etc. The drinks are unique, their matcha combinations are quite good. The only thing I would change is to give option for sweetness. My hot matcha was too sweet for my taste. There is ample outdoor sitting area and also few seats indoors. The parking in this area might be an issue during weekends.“
“This is the best cafe I’ve ever been in a long time! High quality coffee and fantastic service in a lovely environment! What else do you need to work, hang out and simply enjoy!!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right on the back of the cafe! It’s also wheelchair friendly!“
“Ordered the vanilla honey latte and green rose boba along with a omelette and egg sandwich. The drinks were delicious and the food was a bit bland. Overall if it’s on your way you should go. Sitting is a bit limited on weekends since it gets busy.“
“Here is a five-star café I have never experienced before. We were served two cups of beautifully crafted coffee by a skilled barista with a sense of artistry. I highly recommend this place to all coffee lovers. If you're seeking a great coffee experience, you must visit right now.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This spot is a total score! I don’t even want to leave them a review because I want it to be my little secret. The vibe is super chill. I mean, who'd have thought you could sip your coffee in a bike shop? The place oozes character. Now, the coffee – it's the bomb! It's like they're coffee wizards or something. But what's really epic is the customer service. The staff is super friendly and knows their stuff. They'll help you pick your perfect cup and make you feel right at home. This secret coffee spot in the bike store is a hidden gem. Awesome vibes, killer coffee, and a laid-back crew. Five stars and counting – I'll definitely be back for my caffeine fix! ?☕?“
“I go to Perry's multiple times a week. Stepanie always takes such care of me and my volleyball crew. She is quick and does such an amazing job at multi tasking. Everyone is super polite and believe it or not the food is decent. Beach cafes get a bad wrap but Perry's is a cut above the rest if you know what to order.“
“The coffee here is out of this world! The coffee we had was sourced from Lightwave Coffee, a local company in LA, and we just had to leave with a bag of beans to take home after we tried their cold brew and espresso. The Kyoto cold brew (single origin Gesha) legit smelled like blueberries. The coffee doesn't just have a roasted "diner coffee" flavor, but it really smells like the tasting notes, from fruity to earthy to sweet. This was made super clear when the staff, who were really helpful and engaging, talked us through their roasting process and let us smell different beans from their bags behind the counter. The citrus notes really shone through. The chocolate notes really hit like chocolate. The space outside is lovely to sip your drink and read a book, catch up on emails, or enjoy time with friends!“
“A Jazz infused Italian gem ! Visited on March 23rd and sat outside in the patio for an early dinner .This restaurant offers Italian dining with an unforgettable ambiance of live Jazz music ! The cozy ambiance paired with great dishes and soulful tunes makes it a must visit for any food and music lover!!“
