Let's keep yelp REAL!!! Cool chill vibes in the non touristy section of Santa Monica. I've driven by this place quite a few times and finally decided to stop in. The space itself is small but in a nice way. FYI it get busy quickly. The expectation is to come in and enjoy your coffee, not stay for 2 hours working on a computer. Service was exceptional and friendly. The coffee itself was solid and I would stop by again if I was in the area. I had a cardamom latte and the wife enjoyed an iced latte. Overall, its a cool local spot with good coffee.

Gluten free banana bread is absolutely amazing. Service is always on point and even if there's a line out the door you will be helped pretty quickly.

It's a small coffee shop at the corner of Main and Marine. Looks modern and jam packed on a Saturday morning. We ordered cortado which is very good. Americano was alright as it's a bit acidic to our taste.

Very cute interior with a lot of personality. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was really yummy. The barista who took my order was also very friendly :) nice experience overall

I LOVE going to Gnarwhal and it’s the cutest coffee shop with the most welcoming vibes! Gotta try the Baja brew ???PS: Emily is the BEST ???
I asked to use restroom while waiting for my order. I was told " it’s for customers only". I responded I am a customer, but was still refused entry to the restroom. I used to come here every Sunday after yoga.I will NEVER COME BACK!!!

Gnarwhal Coffee Co. is a quaint and cozy coffee shop with outdoor seating close to the beach! All staff here are friendly and very knowledgeable about their product. I had the chai tea and fresh baked salted caramel cookie (off the hook). On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 6! Definitely worth a stop by morning or afternoon.Parking: This location is on the edge of downtown Santa Monica near the beach so parking is at a premium, but it is worth battling parking meters!

Found this place by its high reviews when looking for coffee between the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach and couldn't have been happier with our discovery. Great coffee and excellent pastries. The pastry was a surprising discovery as it was high on flavor without being overly sweet. The shop had a cute interior. Also love the name. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again. Highly recommend.

Super cute beach vibe coffee shop. It’s rare to see pistacho croissants!!! I literally only get lucky on the weekend at farmers market but they had some here!! ? super yummy!! Got a chia latte and it was ok wish it was a bit hotter and spicer. Still good tho.
